Chapter 65: Chapter 65
In a daze she rushed out of the house into the garden it was partially dark and she almost tumbled when her dress caught on the thorny bush and that when she spotted the both of them and they had their mouths down each other's throats. At first she wasn't sure until she inched closer and the light fell on Stefan's face. Before she could stop herself a gasp left her mouth and the two sprang apart. Was Lucille right, were they going to make up with each other? Does Stefan know the truth?
"Get a grip on yourself and never do that again!" She heard Stefan say.
Lucille stepped out of the shadows behind Rella.
"Now that everything's out in the open I expect you to do the right thing Stefan." She said.
"What are you talking about this is your doing isn't it?" He glared at both her and Jenny.
"You must take responsibility for Jenny and your son."
Stefan looked stunned.
Jenny was pulling her cousin's arm trying to get her attention but Lucille fixed Stefan with a stare daring hi lm to deny it.
"Is this true?" Rella spoke for the first time after watching their exchange. "You have a son?"
She couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"No that's not true!" Stefan reached for her. "Trust me she's lying."
"No she's not tell her Jenny." Lucille urged but Jenny looked like a caged animal. "You don't have to be scared."
A small crowd from the guests began to gather around them.
"Why don't we ask Ms Diamond here what she's been keeping from her husband." She looked smug all of a sudden knowing she'd shifted their attention from her to Rella.
"Don't you involve my wife in your shenanigans Jenny you are a lying scheming bitch."
Rella had never seen Stefan so angry he was using cuss words.
"You have to listen to me Stefan she's been decieving you all along." She turned to Rella. "Why don't you tell everyone here who you really are."
Rella's head was pounding, everything around her was spinning and she felt like hauling her gut.
"Go on or should I tell everyone myself?"
Oh it's over. She thought miserably Stefan would find out the truth and he'd hate her.
She heard Jenny say her name–her real name– from a distance and the ground rose up to meet her. The last thing she heard was Stefan screaming her name.
