Chapter 5: Chapter 5

Tix goes over all the data she collected from Ethan that covered some of their experiments. There was some things about me but they were vague. Things I already knew basically. After about a few minutes covering the data, she then goes into the plan of how we are going to get inside GenesisX.

"Okay, here is the plan." Tix looks over at Serena, "Serena, I want you to create a portal for me and Angie to come through. Also create a mind link for all of us to communicate. It's so much more efficient than using walkie's." She then looks over to Angie, "Angie me and you are going to disguise ourselves as doctors, so if the cameras go live again we don't stand out. I want you to distract the guard that is attending to the entrance of the room." Finally, she looks at me, "Unfortunately Blue, you're gonna have to sit this one out." She frowns slightly. I shake my head, "Why? I mean, I could just play sick with Trevor." "It's not that. The Luna Summons is coming soon." I furrow my brows at what she said. Then I remember a conversation she had with me about Trevor finding his Luna. "I didn't think i'd be eligible. You know because of my circumstance. " I point out to her that fact because, let's say I became the Luna, no one would accept me. Especially Jessica. "The fact remains you are still a wolf. Therefore, still eligible." Serena says. "We will be mind linked to you, so you won't be waiting to figure out what is going on." I pout for a moment but I understand her reasoning. "When will this go down? Wait, if you're bringing up the Luna Summons...then that means..." Angie trails off because she realizes that's exactly what Tix had in mind. "It's the perfect distraction. It's also a week away from now. So it's perfect planning time. I can also get a map of the facility from Ethan, so we can coordinate this better." I am disappointed I won't have Tix at the Luna Summons with me but the truth is more important.

After discussing the plan more, Angie looks at the clock and sees it's 8pm. "It's getting late guys and I got work tomorrow. I'll see you later okay?" She smiles and hugs each of us and makes her way to the door. Serena soon does the same. "Later." Both Tix and I say.

Soon it's just me and Tix. I sigh and flop backwards on the bed. "What did I get myself into?" I throw the pillow on my face that was at the edge of the bed. "The best group ever." She responds with a smirk. "Sounds like trouble to me." "Darling, didn't you know fae love trouble? You signed that deal when you became my friend." I throw the pillow at her, "I should be a best friend at this point." She sticks her tongue out at me. "Tempting but we will see. You must pass the ring of fire!" She throws her hands in the air for dramatic effect. "You are the ring of fire." I tease. "Tu che." We both laugh and sit in silence for moment to digest everything that we went over.

She then snaps her head over to me, "Didn't you say you had a crush on Trevor?" I blush from her sudden question. "Well, um, yeah, I think so. I mean-" I try to fish around for an explanation. It felt like I was a fish out of water. "So tell me the details! When did this start. You probably already know, but you're hitting for the big leagues. I support it." She gives me a thumbs up and wink. I smile and roll my eyes. We spend the next hour and a half talking about how my feelings came to be for Trevor. "Interesting." Tix sips her tea that she made during our talk. "So, what do you think?" "I am no love doctor by any means, but it's too soon to tell. Give it some time. But it definitely is starting to sound spicy." She raises her eye brows up and down at me. "Shut up." We both laugh. "Alright, I got training to do in the morning, yay. So, i'll catch you later?" "You couldn't get rid of me if you tried now." She gives me a hug and I walk next door into my room. So convient how close she is.

The next morning, I woke up to Trevor next to my bed in a chair. I blush instantly and I make my way off the oppisite side of the bed. Why in the world was he in my room? I rush to the bathroom and close the door. My heart is racing and my wolf keeps hollering, "mine." In my head. He's not ours you crazy wolf! A knock comes to the door and I hear Trevor's concerned voice, "Is everything okay?" "Oh yeah, absolutely fine to wake up to a guy next to my bed. Completely normal routine, yah know." I say through the door. I made sure to lay the sarcasm on thick to let him know how uncomfortable I was. "I heard you calling for someone last night..." he says. "All the way from the north side of the mansion?" I was skeptical so my doubtfulness was warranted. A moment of silence passes before he speaks again. "I wasn't sure if you'd lose control of your wolf in your sleep, so I came in to make sure. I ended up falling asleep. I apologize." I open the door from inside the bathroom and I see him with his head turned and rubbing the back of his neck. I guess he does that when he is unsure or embarrassed about things. I place my hand on his cheek for him to face me but then quickly retract it when I realize what I did. "Sorry, I just perfer people to look me in the eyes. I didn't mean-" he chuckles, "Guess we are even then." I blush and rush pass him to grab some clothes. "So you do have a cute side." Chase says as he enters the door of my room. "Not you, Blue. Mr. Alpha over here." He pokes Trevor in the face and Trevor growls. "Don't push it." He whistles and backs away over to me, "Touchy, Touchy. Speaking of..." Chase comes up from behind me and gropes my breast. I hear Trevor growl and start to make his way to me, but before he could, I turned around and deck him in the face. "What the fuck, Chase?!" I shout at him. Tix comes running in the room next, "Oooo! Did Chase get beat up by Trevor?!" She excitedly ask. "Actually," Trevor starts, "It was Shane." He smiles proudly. "I was just confirming I got her breast size right when I got her clothes. Damn!" He rubs his jaw and makes his way back over to Trevor. He quickly realizes that wasn't the brightest idea. "If you got time to run and get people clothes size...You got time to run laps and spar for the next week." His voice was sinister with his eyes glowing ever so slightly. I don't think his wolf was happy. Tix busts out laughing from Chase's dead reaction to his Alpha's orders. "You wanna go, Pix-", Serena pops out of a portal and pulls Chase in. "I swear, I keep thinking I fixed you but your brain just doesn't quite follow!" She yanks him in by the ear and closes the portal. Tix feels the vibes in the room and mashes her lips together. "I'll be back in a bit. You two take your time." She gives me a wink and closes the door behind her. "Are you okay?" He asks concerned after Chase groped me. "Yeah, I am fine. Chase needed to learn boundaries with me. I think Serena will fix that and your training as well." He smiles and let's out a small laugh. "I think you went easy on him, so I had to make sure it sunk in." He shrugs his shoulders and sits down in the chair he was in before. Only he moved it to a corner.

"I don't know what to make of you. I can't tell whether to trust you or destroy you." He says solemnly.

"Personally, I would say trust but I can't exactly make you." I lean against the dresser hoping he will get my hint of wanting to get changed.

"Do you feel anything?" His question comes out of no-where and I am unsure of what he meant. I didn't exactly want to tell him what I told Tix, but if it was what he was asking. I wouldn't mind telling him if it meant he knew what it meant.

"What do you mean?" He huffs a breath and stands up. "Don't worry about it. I am just thinking too much. I'll see you in a bit. Make sure to bring a lot of changes of clothes. We're going to learn combat techniques." I nod to him as he exits the room. Why didn't he describe his question more? Maybe it was different than what I am thinking. Keep it together, Shane. He's the Alpha and you're the abomination that's here until he says he doesn't need me anymore. That thought alone sent shivers down my spine. I was just a tool in his eyes. Nothing more. Nothing less. I still couldn't help the tear that fell from my eye. Stupid heart.

I make my way to the training area and Trevor is there in his wolf form. I guess he didn't want me asking anymore about what he meant. I sighed and shifted. I could see the electricity surrounding my body. Then before I did anything one of the strings of electricity zapped the ground in front of Trevor. He backed up and snarled at me. I take that as his wolf warning me to fight fair. To be honest I didn't even mean to do that. I guess my wolf was upset with him for making me feel like I was a tool. *Don't worry about it. I am the one jumping ahead thinking things that aren't possible.* I try to soothe her anger. She relents and let's me take control with her. Trevor sees that I am under control again and goes to attack me head on. I prepare to jump out the way when he pulls the same trick he did the last time. Only I dodge the first attack and run forward and then turn around, so he doesn't think I am running away again. He huffs at me to let me know that was good. This time he starts to circle me. He nips at my paws to let me think he is going to bite me. I don't flinch. I just carefully watch him. He goes to bite one of my legs and I spin my body around and kick him in the face with my other back paw. He loses focus for a second. I take that chance to tackle him. He moves out the way and I trip over his back legs trying to slow my momentum. He makes a laughing sound from his wolf I couldn't really describe. This time I huff at him and get back to my stance. I charge for him again, I want him to think i'll trip again and when he thinks I will. I'll strike. Once I am within distance, he moves out of the way leaving his back legs where they were, I turn my body slightly enough to bump into his and use my body weight to knock him over. I take that chance to stand over him and my face near his neck declaring victory. He nods his head upward to let me know to get off. I do as he says and let him get up. He runs for the trees' and I follow after. I get changed and come out to see the crowd that had been watching our spar. "Hope I didn't embarress you in front of the pack." I tease. He chuckles, "Not at all. You just out smarted me. This just means we can move on to the next phase." I tilt my head with my hands on my hips. "What would that be?" He smirks at me and goes over to Drake. I can't hear the conversation from the distance they are at. Then I see Drake and Trevor walk over. "You will be physically trained in human form between me and Drake. I have some things to prepare for, for the Luna Summons." I gulp. Drake was twice the size of Trevor. To think I have to fight both of them equally. That's gonna do some wear and tear. "Don't worry. You won't be bruised too much, Oscar." " Oscar? I thought I was Blue now?" He chuckles, "To me, you will forever be Oscar. I don't roll with the crowd. Remember that." He winks at me. "Drake is my right hand man and strongest beta. He will train you right as if it were me doing it." He places a hand on Drake's shoulder with pride on his face. "Drake's twice your size, how in the world is he your beta?" I find that odd considering Drake looked more like he would be the Alpha compared to Trevor. "Size isn't everything, Shane." Trevor smiles at me and I blush. My mind instantly went to a dirty place. Though I knew that's not what he meant hopefully. "I may be big in size, but he's fast and has got a much meaner bite. I can say that from experience. He fought all of us who wanted to be Alpha. So, he earned all of our respect fair and square." Drake then turns to go back to the new shifters he's been training. "If you think I am weak, we can have a real match and if I win. You submit to me as your Alpha." Trevor whispers in my ear. "I don't submit to anyone. We are either equal or not at all." I feel my wolf surface and Trevor could see I was serious. "Guess i'll have to make you my equal some how then." He snickers and walks off. I could feel the heat still in my face from when I blushed. Damn! Why does he have to play with my head like this?! It's so infuriating! *Mine* is all I could hear my wolf say. No he is not. Quit saying that. Ugh! I fall flat into the grass and enjoy the breeze for a little while longer.
