The following day, Jhonia pace her room on the phone while Kyhe was making breakfast for them both.

“I don’t understand. Please, tell me what could possibly stop you and your husbands from showing up like I asked.” Furiously she spoke with her friends for the sake of their husband’s company.

“We are sorry-”

“What I want to hear is what happened, not that you’re sorry. If you don’t want my help, say so. Kyhe waited for you guys.” She cut them off as she didn’t want to apologize but seek what happened.

“It’s not like that. Iaw, we do need you; we just can’t be bothered to take a bracelet that doesn’t belong to us. We would rather put it back and receive it because where’s the fun in that, right?” Madiea responded and called her by their nickname for her. She felt something was wrong but when Madiea spoke in code confusing everyone, Jhonia went back in the past. (Chapter 26)

“Girls, you’re right apologized to me by buying me lunch. I shall meet your husbands another time. Right Madi?” She responded to them and said to Madiea because she is aware that Nearce is involved somehow.

She ended the call and slammed the phone into the wall above her bed followed by a scream. Send Kyhe to her side.

“What happened?” He asked her but she just stood there in anger.

“That son of a bitch, I wish he would just die.” Jhonia said. Looking at her phone she regrets it because she now wants to use it.

“Nearce, went to them, didn’t he?” He asked her, but she didn’t respond. She turned around to him suddenly, he did not expect her to.

“I want a new phone. Excuse me, for a moment.” She said to him, she proceeded to leave when he grabbed her arm stopping her.

“Shall we take the day off? I will get you a new one, I don’t think you should go out.” He asked. He then told her what he will do and what he thinks.

Jhonia looked at him like he could see right through her, she wondered why and how he was able to. When she was making herself easy to read, Nearce couldn’t read her. Kyhe left her standing there and went down to his car where he retrieved the phone.

On his way back he felt like someone was watching him and so he turned around, he glanced and didn’t see anything out of place. He was going when his memory showed him something he by past.

“Isn’t that?” He questioned the presence of the biker across the street. He decided to go and see why he was there…

“Who are you?” He asked and the biker ignored him. Suddenly he noticed the phone and looked at him.

“Did she smash it?” He asked and Kyhe nodded.

“Who are you to her? Look, I just need something. I need to know that I can trust to protect her, if something should happen and I won't reach her in time. I need to know you will.” He asked the biker once more. He decided to explain why he needs to know who he or she is to Jhonia for protection purposes at least.

“When you first met her, that was me.” He said and rode off with speed. Leaving Kyhe confused.

“What the hell does that do? I should get back before she gets irritated.” He asked looking in the distance of where the biker went. He said to himself crossing the road back to the apartment complex.

He went up thinking about what the biker said to him, it was not making sense to him. He decided to think about it later for now, it is time for Jhonia. He entered and overheard her on the phone.

“If he's going to play then let’s play with him. I want to hit him where it hurts. So, anything you want to do. Do it.” She said while, Kyhe stood listening to her at the doorway.

“Okay, but Jhonia baby. Keep in mind that you can’t turn back from this.” Novia said to her, and she nodded.

“I know mom, I need to show him that I'm strong. I am ready to fight with him head on, and don’t they’re people who have my back.” She replied and Kyhe now knows with whom she’s speaking to. But suddenly he smiled when she spoke of those who had her back. He knew that he was one of them. She ended the call from the house phone and sign.

“Hmm, ok Mearce whatever your mother does now. It will be your fault… But I wonder why she said I can't back out. Ah. I miss Kyhe already. Is this what being in love feels like?” She said as she lay back on the bed, she took a moment to say aloud her wonders.

She sighed and spoke of her feelings with kyhe asking. She curled up on the bed facing where Kyhe stood, blushing away. She had no idea he was there. When she laid eyes on him, immediately she sat up gawking at him.

“How long have you been there?” she asked him. Her eyes didn’t blink not even for a second. Kyhe smiled at her pricelessly.

“Jhonia, this is payback. There were times when I missed you like crazy and couldn’t even act on it. Unlike you I'm right here, but back then you weren’t there.” He said to her with a sneering grin on his face. He proceeded to tell how he used to feel yet she’s fortunate because he’s right them.

Jhonia shyly smiled at him before she stood from the bed and walked over to him, where she hugged him. Kyhe returned the hug because he felt whatever she spoke about might be on her mind.

“Breakfast is still warm. Let’s not skip it.” He said to her, she looked at him as she pulled from his embrace.

“Thank you, for the phone. Also, can we really skip going to the office with a high gratifying deal on the line?” She expressed her thanks and asked him, because she has something in mind.

“Tell me about it while we eat.” He said to her, he stepped forward and placed the phone on the bed.

“Tell you what exactly?” She asked him.

“You aren’t that hard to read Baby love, so, tell me about it while you eat.” He told her and repeated his words. He took her to the kitchen area where he sat her down and made her plate.

Hours went by…

“This is some kind of joke, right?” Josephine said, asking.

“What is this about?” Kuwain asked.

“Well, as you might know Emmari has been sleeping with Nearce. So, I think he has gotten to the point where he can use her. He will try to find out where me and Kyhe are, by using her. So, this so-called meeting is to hide us while we go to the girls and set our plan into motion. So, I have already told you your role to play. I will pretend to be Azerjie and Kyhe, an ordinary employee.” Jhonia decided to tell them about what Emmari has been doing. Kuwain was not pleased but he had to push his anger aside for now. Jhonia explains to them the plan and what they must do. And those who were told the plan before should just stick to it.

“And while out Kuwain you must keep close eyes on her, it’s in pretense that Lu and Dae are on day off and sick. So, if she tries to go out, send her to the airport and tell her she just needs to be there. The person will recognize her because all the employee's photo and name were sent to her.” Kyhe spoke of what he has already done, and what Kuwain need to do along with Jhonia’s intrusion of keep Emmari in sight.

“Wow, but like why do you keep her? You know what it’s not my place.” Josephine said and asked. She throws her hands up in the air, adding.

“We have a lot to talk about after today.” Kuwain said after he spoke, he got up and left the room.

“Jhonia, let’s go make him pay. Also, i’m not sure what you spoke about with Ms. Mcgold but when you returned from all this today. I want you to sign the paperwork for the transfer share.
