“So, do you want to talk about it?” Jhonia looked over at him and asked.

Kyhe stared at her like he hadn’t seen her in years. With a smile he walked over and hugged her.

“Can you tell me what she meant?” He asked her after hugging her.

Jhonia wondered what he was asking about. But she returned the hug hoping he was going to say something, but he didn’t.

“What who mean?” She asked him.

Kyhe pulled back from the hug and walked over to her couch bed. He took a seat and waited for her to come and sit next to him.

“What is up with you? Don’t answer that. I wanted to tell you, I will accept your offer but after the make-up deal is yours. Also, I finally decided how I was going to take down Baco. So, please tell me you did not do away with the paperwork of their contract.” Jhonia asked as she made her first step walking over to him, she then told not to answer. She went on to tell him she will accept the shares within Sky but after he got the deal with Manaik’s and her intended plan for Baco.

Kyhe stared at her cluelessly as she stood before him, looking down at him. She raised an eyebrow at him, but he suddenly looked at her weird and confused, which made Jhonia believe that he got rid of it.

She sought out a laugh looking at him. She leaned down, putting her hands down on the couch and looked up at him with daring eyes. She smiled at him gently then breathed in and out softly.

Suddenly he began kissing her, when he stopped, she chuckled at him. She then sat on his lap. Wrapping her arms around his neck. She met his eyes and once again she smiled at him but with a gentle glow in her eyes this time.

“Where should we start? You don’t plan to avoid it forever do you?” She said and he sighed. So, she asked him, and he buried his face into her chest.

“Babe, I love you and I trust you. Enough to leave Sky in your hands even with that whole you and Nearce thing. So, the person I want answers from is him and not you.” Kyhe called and told her before he explained to her why he is avoiding it. However, it’s not her he wants answers from but his uncle.

“Okay, so. Umm, what are you going to cook for me?” She responded to him, and he stared at her in shock then she asked him.

“Jhonia Au-”

“Ah! Can you wait. I want to tell you when it’s the right time, but I think I said it that night.” She cut him off shouting then began to tell him it should be said at the right time but claims she said it before.

“It was not me you’re telling that. Anyone would know in the middle sex “I love you” is not for you but the- Jhonia. No, I will not accept it.” He said to her, as he quickly began to explain the ‘I love you’ being said and what it meant. She got up from him and he cut himself to call her by name and told her.

“Okay, I’m going to make me something until you decide what you will be cooking.” She said and explained what she’s off to do.

Moments later Jhonia decided to go and take a shower. While Kyhe was busy in the kitchen. Her phone rang and she picked up the call.

“So, earlier it slipped me. When Nearce said you beat him, so, when did that happen?" Novia's voice came in through saying to her and immediately she decided to add a call. And so, she called Orean, who picked up on the second ring and there he heard Jhonia speaking.

“Well, Orean thought it would be a good idea for me to know some basic combat. In case Nearce tried anything or anyone who would try to hurt me, I would know to defend myself. Why?” She explained to her who taught her to fight and for that reason he taught her. Orean realized that she was pushing her glory to him, for he two heard of the beating.

“And when was this?” Novia asked Jhonia. Orean kept silent and waited for Jhonia to speak.

“It was after I got shot at. He must have seen how worried for me you were and thought this was the best he could do.” Jhonia said and explained what she believed would help convince her.

“Well, I will have to speak to him about it. I’m aware you are family-in Crissian, so I doubt he did it just for me, when I spoke with her last, she would not try to have that baby learning ‘aunty Jhonia’. Anyways it was good of him to do that, it will teach him to not mess with you anymore.” She said to her, reminding her how she treats Crissian. And that too might have been why Orean taught her to fight, for when she last spoke with Crissian. She was teaching her baby to say aunty Jhonia.

“Ha ha, I see. Wait… last spoke with? Where are you?” Jhonia laughed and said but realized and asked her.

“I have business to do and am seeking to adopt a child since you’re already at Sky. I am preparing just in case my heart is unable to bump out the blood it's receiving.” She said in one to Jhonia, she then explained why she said what she said.

“I’m guessing Orean is your number 1 choice, since he’s someone I hold dearly. You do know I make mistakes with people. Like Nearce for instance. I’m not saying you shouldn’t but don’t do it because of me. He has been with you for years. If you are going to ask him to wear your name, do it on your terms and not mine.” Jhonia said to her knowing Orean was on the phone, she wanted him to do it. He understands she was making a request. While Novia felt like Jhonia was telling her to go with her gut feelings and not to use her name to make a pass at people.

“Okay, my baby. Rest well, the remaining days are going to be restless.” Novia said to her and reminded her she would be busier than ever.

“Miss. MçCold. I’m sure Orean would be more than happy to do so, but if he makes any kind of suggestion. Then, please consider it before judging him. That’s something you and Kyhe seem to share. Good night mom.” She addressed Novia, other than mom or Mrs. Pinnock. And said to her. As she reminded Orean that Novia considers her a daughter and she considers Crissian as family so he should suggest Crissian to be her daughter instead of him being her son. And soon after their call ended.

Just imagine having a woman, who is not only strong for herself but for others too. I understand she’s mine now but how could Nearce be so foolish. I never meant to drop my ears but I couldn't help myself! Whatever the situation was, I just wanted to see how she would deal with it. And fuck sake she just happen to do a very good job. I hope if there is another life where I would be alive in, I wish she’s my wife there. Kyhe thought.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Jhonia opened it.

“You did it on purpose, I would say.”

“I think not. You were busy making my meal and I was getting hot, So I went and took a shower.”

She smiles at him after he speaks. She then disagreed with him and explained to him why she showers first and without him.

“Okay, you win. You’re out of wine so I didn’t make that dessert but something else and I hope you like it. And can I stay over?” He replied to her and then began to tell her what he did because she was out of wine. Yet while avoiding eye contact, he asked her, with one hand in his pants pocket and the other rubbing the back of his head.

“Oh my god. The girls would die to see this. Kyhe Knight has become shy. Ha ha, who asks their girlfriend to stay over? He he, I bought what I think would fit so go and shower and come eat with me. I don’t want to eat alone.” She said in shock looking at him. When she spoke about the girls, he looked up at her instantly. Jhonia laughed at how sweet yet funny it looked and asked him before telling what she did. She sends him to go and shower and return to her for she doesn’t wish to eat alone.
