The following day! Jhonia arrived at work but because she didn’t see Kyhe, she thought he was still holding her to what he said about giving her the company shares.

“Jhonia, I will not speak with you if you don’t agree to this offer of mine.” Kyhe said her, she looked at him and smirk.

“No, and it’s still going to be no, an hour or day from now and today. I don’t want it.” She responded to him and explained she won’t change her mind.

“Fine. I have nothing else to give for all you did for me. I think this would be a good thing since I’m Sky and Sky is me. If it’s still no, then I won’t speak with you.” Kyhe agreed with her then said to her, telling her why he wants to give her the shares. He adds he won’t speak with her.

She remembers him telling her he would not speak with her if she didn’t take it. Jhonia went to his office, and he was not there. She returned to her desk and picked up her phone calling (Caller ID) mother-in-law.

“Hello, Jhonia my dear, what can I do for you?” Mrs. Knight answered the phone call, her sweet tone called Jhonia and asked her.

“By chance mother, is Kyhe there?” She asked her.

It was 10 in the morning. Kyhe made sure to send an email to his department letting them know, he and Jhonia, who did everything in the office yesterday, would return for work late. Leaving on each desk something for them to do before leaving the company.

“Oh yes dear, tsk. I know not what is wrong with him since this morning. Do you mind coming by?” Mrs. Knight responded to her, she then told Jhonia she knows not what’s wrong with Kyhe and asked her if she could stop by.

Jhonia took her bag and went to the elevator, and it opened to her surprise. Kuwain was getting off.

“Where is Mrs. Knight?” With a lively smile, Kuwain asked Jhonia as he stepped back on the elevator.

Jhonia looked at him with shock, as if she doesn’t know that he is Kyhe somewhat best friend if he doesn’t tell him he will figure it out eventually. She smiled at him and stepped on the elevator. Emmari, who heard Kuwain’s words, stood biting her nail in anger.

“Jhonia, you have gone too far.” Emmari said, clenching her fist.

“Can we bake her a peanut butter cake, it doesn't have to be big.” Lusinly said as she and Daeviann were walking past Emmari.

“No, she’s allergic to peanuts. Maybe chocolate or something else.” Daeviann said to her and told her why.

The two went to their seats unknowing that Emmari was listening to their conversation. An evil grin appeared on her face as she filled with excitement inside about finding out something she can use on Jhonia.

Meanwhile, Jhonia was heading to the Knights residence with Kuwain. She didn’t seem to want to avoid the words Kuwain said to her, but she is trying to. Jhonia took a deep breath and relaxed herself before she sides eyed Kuwain who is driving.

“Want to talk about it? It does look like it’s bothering you.” Kuwain asked her as he glanced at her before putting his eyes back on the road. He told her what it looked like from his point of view.

“Did Kyhe tell you he asked me to marry him?” Jhonia asked him and the car stopped immediately.

“Ah! What the hell, Kuwain?” She asked him after he abruptly stopped the car.

“He asked you to marry him and what did you say?” He asked her, eyes and mouth wide open to show how shocked he is.

“Well, I thought he was joking because he got drunk after he thought I would go to Nearce. He sent the employees home and I had to do his work, my work, and their work. And he had kind of just woken up from all that. Then he offered me shares in Sky, he said he wouldn’t speak to me if I refused it. So I am off to make him think I will accept it.” Jhonia smiled at him and began to give a brief info on what happened between them yesterday and what he (Kyhe) said and why she is now on her way with him to Kyhe.

Kuwain took a moment to let it sink in. He then selected the gear stick into drive and began driving slowly. He is trying to understand things from her point of view. He glanced at her and looked away.

“If I ask you to marry me, what would you say?” Kuwain asked her and waited. He wanted to see if she would think about it.

“Why would I do that? Kyhe was someone I had feelings for without realizing it. Why would I go with you instead of him?” Jhonia asked him, and then told him before asking him.

“Moreover, you’re his friend which means you’re now my friend. And even if I do cheat on him with you, I believe that you won’t be able to top him.” She adds telling him how she sees him and that if she should choose him, he wouldn’t be able to replace Kyhe.

“Oh shit. Jhonia, that kind of hurts but… Oh My God. You didn’t? You did, didn’t you. It’s no longer a question. However, joke aside, he already bought you a ring. Just so you know. He did when he found out you are his Jhoni-ni, so even if his family had rejected you, it would be nothing to him. Because the amount of funds he places into having that ring made. I would say he saw his future already.” Kuwain said to her, he was about to let out a laugh, but it turned out to be shock as he asked. He claims is not a question to be answered. He told her to be serious as he inform her what Kyhe did and when as if he knew she would marry him (Kyhe) someday.

“Am guessing that is good to know but now that I know, I’ll have to pretend to be surprised. You fool you ruin it for me, anyways it’s not that I don’t want the shares. Nearce is yet to sign the papers so if he finds out about it he might want to have half of what I have and I want him not in Sky. He would ruin it.” Jhonia said to him, her voice was cold as she told him he ruined it for her. Kuwain flinched at her, the cold manner of voice stayed until she finished with fear of Nearce ruining Sky. Including the fact that he already tried using Baco.

She really is in it for Kyhe. Well, she did say she had feelings for him and didn’t know. Nearce is a bastard in everything in life, marriage, and business. So, it is understandable that she fears Sky being in her hands. So if that’s the case… Kyhe will need to make this divorce happen sooner than planned. It seems she can’t wait to be his. I wonder if she is doing all this with intention. Hell no, what am I thinking? Kuwain thoughts.

“Hey Jhonia, I have officially accepted you as my best friend in-law. Now that you will marry Kyhe, and he is my best friend. I appreciate all you did and approved of you, and because he loves you from the very beginning. You’re someone who made him happy even when he found out you’re his enemies wife. He still loved you even then.” Kuwain call to her and said he accept her as his in-law and that she will marry Kyhe, he express his appreciation. He told her she is someone that made Kyhe happy from day one and he approve her because she makes him happy and because he (Kyhe) Love her.
