It was noon when Kyhe woke up on the extended sofa inside his office, there a bottle of water on the small table in front of the couch. He sat up holding his head from a splitting headache. He looked up at his desk where he saw a bunch of files. His memories of Jhonia speaking to him were vivid.

“Kyhe? Hey, look at me! I chose you. There was never a choice to begin with but since you made one, I want you to know that I chose you.”

“I had no idea what was happening. After I found out… I thought she would want to know. But then I didn’t want to see her leave to be by his side, it would be my fault.” Kyhe came to his senses and said to himself, he was unaware of Jhonia being at his desk working. She listened to him, spoke with himself and realized that it would hurt him the same way she was hurt to know Nearce would go to another woman instead of her.

“I had no intention of offering any kind of help to him, Kyhe. When you’re finished beating yourself up with thoughts of such. Get your act together and come help me! You and your jealous self-send home the employees and now I have to do everything. Kyhe, should I fire you?” Jhonia said to him, he flinched looking up at his desk! She spoke of him beating up himself over trivial matters, she stated to him and said to him what he did and now what she had to do. She asked him and immediately he stood to his feet.

“Emmari is still here, go send these to her, have her print these documents for the conference meeting. Also, send her to the 6th department, they will give her some documents to bring here. Told her firmly not to open them please if we open them, we could lose character from the document.” Jhonia said cutting him off then told him who was there and what he should do, she then ordered him to go order Emmari firmly to not open the character document. She wishes not to lose a single key character from those documents.

“You got it done?” Kyhe asked in shock.

“Yes, I kind of just got the department to understand the idea and then we worked on… They worked on it and now we have it. She can read it with a feeling of trust and now, I have relieved you of three years of hard work.” Jhonia responded to him with a smile, while inside he was dying from excitement. Jhonia told him what she did, she took a moment and told him, it was the departments who did all the work. She said the female could read with the feeling of trust because she will be reading it on her own and not someone reading it to her. She added she has made his hard work paid off.

“Jhonia, would you like to marry me?” Kyhe asked her after calling her by name, Emmari heard his words as she was outside the door. The door was not locked so she could hear everything from inside as they would hear from the outside however, she was careful. She frowns and leaves knowing Kyhe would come to her soon like Jhonia ordered him to.

“Mr. knight!” Jhonia yelled at him, but his reaction was to run around his desk and kiss her.

“If he’s going to die, I pray that god saves him to see that the stone he dashes aside is actually a stone of rare gold.” Kyhe said looking into her eyes, the spoke of how he wants Nearce to live to see that she isn’t just any stone but rare gold.

“What are you talking about?” She asked him in a serious tone of voice. He raised up from her scratching the back of his head.

“Nearce stocks are going down and he was hospitalized until 10 this morning. That is why the things, I said; I'm sorry Jhonia but even in sickness I don’t want to see you go to him because in health he was never by your side.” Kyhe said to Jhonia, and seeing how shocked she is, he now knows that she didn’t know. He apologized then told that she shouldn’t go be with him in sickness because he wasn’t there for her, in health, in his own way. Jhonia looked at him with a sweet smile, as he stood robbing the back of his head and kicking the chair foot.

“Kyhe, what is your middle name? Mine is”

“Augusthian. I know, mine is Skylar-Min.” He cuts her off and said her name, adding that he knows hers and there he told her his. Jhonia nodded as she remembered that was the name she told Jea, and Josephine to use.

“Okay, now will you go and send Emmari like I told you.” Jhonia said to him then reminded him to go and send Emmari with the document to print and to go collect the character document.

“I think it’s best that I go and get it done for you. I don’t want anything like the files coming to any kind of harm so I will do it because I know how important it is.” He said to her, with a smile he told he doesn’t want any harm to come to the documents so he will get it, knowing its importance. He walked away from her and to the door where he stopped.

Kyhe turns around looking at Jhonia who is doing his job, and hers. His eyes lit up with joy. He watched her for some time then came to realize that he did not pick up the files which he had to print. He returned to the desk and picked them, but he glanced at Jhonia who was working and not being distracted.

“Jhonia, should I give you shares within Sky?” Kyhe called her name, but she continued to work until he asked his question. Her finger stopped on his computer. Seconds later she looked up from the screen at him. Dumbfounded, she just stared at him waiting to see him smile and say he’s joking but nothing.

“Mr. Knight, this is not the time for your jokes. We have a lot to do here, please. I would like to get”

“See, Jhonia. That’s the thing, I’m not joking. You didn’t have to do the things you did, and you never had to give the chance you gave me. So, when I bring the paperwork will you sign it?” Kyhe said to her, making her know he isn’t joking and proceeded to say he wants to do it. There, he asked her.

“No, I will not. I did nothing another employee wouldn’t do, Kyhe. Go and do what you told yourself to do.” Jhonia responded to him, she told what she did for him anyone would have done it, she called his name and told him to go and do what he said he was going to do.

Jhonia watches as he leaves but to Kyhe, Jhonia has no idea that he had once fallen once before. And it was all because an employee of his didn’t double check files and he has lost a lot in that time, she who has been protecting Sky in his eyes she deserves more than just Sky’s share.
