Kyhe and Jhonia showered and got dressed before leaving.
“Do you plan to go in with me, holding your hand? Will you change your mind when we arrive at the office?” Kyhe asked her but she was just looking at him at the moment. The elevator stopped and they stepped off together. Kyhe noticed Orean and turned his head looking at Jhonia.
“Really babe?” Kyhe added asking her really with babe at the end.
“Okay, Kyhe listened to me for a moment and tried to understand that. I may be living away from Nearce but to the public I’m still his wife. I already filed for the divorce and so on, you know this, but he has not yet received it or signed it. Tuesday we will be meeting the girls and their husbands to plan how we are going to save them with interest. I can’t have you doing this for free, and when Baco falls he will receive the paperwork. It will be a good hit for taking down two things at once.” Jhonia said to him as she turned towards him. She told him and hoped he would try and understand what she’s saying to him. She reminds him they will meet the girls and how they will help but with interest for him and his company for helping them, Kyhe was surprised to see that she has thought that far about the whole thing he came to realize she already has a plan. He nodded as she told him what she was doing by attacking Nearce with things at once.
Oh god, how could he let someone so intelligent walk out of his life, I can’t blame him though because by fate he pushed her into my arms. She’s like a rare found art that was being kept away from the eyes of the world. I will have to thank him the next time I see him, if my anger doesn’t let me beat the shit out of him first, Kyhe thoughts.
“Okay, shouldn’t I at least send you to work?” Kyhe asked after he agreed with her, she folded her lips and blinked at him twice before walking away.
“Ah, just by watching her go I feel hurt. It’s okay we will see her at work.” Kyhe sighed and said as he watched Jhonia leave with Orean, he placed his hand over his heart and said he would see her at work. He was concealing his heart that was already missing her. Jhonia left with Orean and he to his car. Time passed and they arrived at the office Jhonia was at her desk when Kyhe arrived up.
He walked over to Jhonia and leaned down towards her; she turned to him upon feeling his presence. Their lips touched when she came face to face with him, he did not move as he didn’t mind that her lips were brushing against his.
“Mr. Knight, we are in the office.” Jhonia said to him, but he did not move, not one bit.
“Our date, I wish to finish work early so we can go on it.?” Kyhe said to her watching her eyes discreetly. Jhonia smiled at him and he stood up properly from her, while everyone was shocked and excited to see them together. Emmari, who entered the office seeing when Kyhe left Jhonia’s side was not happy. She went to her desk and sat down.
“I knew they were sleeping together, now. I just need to catch them and get it on the net again. The world will see what kind a wife you’re, regardless of whether you’re different from the husband you chose to marry or not. Jhonia, I’m going to make you regret coming to Sky.” Emmari said while glaring at Jhonia. She spoke in a cold manner as to what she will do again, Jhonia felt a little chill run down her spine and looked up but no one suspicious was in sight, she sighs.
She continued to do her work when her cellphone rang. She took the call without looking at the caller ID. She waits for the person to speak but all she hears is someone breathing through her phone. She took the phone from her ear and looked at it. ‘Unknown’ was the caller’s ID. She placed the phone to her ears once more and waited for a few seconds.
“Kaylia?” Jhonia called the name questioningly. Emmari leans herself forth looking at Jhonia who is on the phone. She feared that Kaylia would come clean to Jhonia that it was her Emmari who put her marriage on the net. She quickly blacked her number and called the Jhonia office phone. “I’m sorry, I must go. Call another”
“It’s Nearce… He, he needs your help. He was able to lie to others, but he couldn’t lie to me. Please come to Hotel Davor, room 313. Please, I'm begging you.” Kaylia voice crock as she spoke to Jhonia she took a moment, but when she told Jhonia Nearce needed help! She flinches looking up from her computer to Kyhe’s Office. Kaylia gave the address and begged Jhonia before ending the call.
Kyhe texted Jhonia long ago but she didn’t notice the message as she was so focused on work! Kyhe came out from his office. He stood and watched her slowly remove the phone from her ears. He could only guess that she found out that Nearce was in the hospital. Jhonia stood up taking her coat while Kyhe dialed her number from his phone. Jhonia, who was putting on her coat, answered the phone once more without checking it first.
“Hello!” She answered the phone and waited. With no sound she thought it was Kaylia again, but the voice was of a man.
“Don’t… Don’t go to him. You can go him and forget about me and that includes Sky, or you can sit and continue to work because I’m the one you chose.” Kyhe said to her, he then told her not to go but immediately after told her she can go but she would have to chose in other words. It was him or Nearce. Kyhe waited and Jhonia said not a single word to him. She even held back from breathing through the phone.
“The choice is yours.” Kyhe added in a soft tone of voice, Jhonia sighs and took up the files and walked to the employees elevator. With tears in his eyes Kyhe watched her leave.
“Oh my god. Ah. It’s like he knew she called me, but I doubt he would bug my phone. Kyhe is not that kind of person.” Jhonia gabs onto the bar inside the elevator crying out to God, she sighs and says to herself while defending Kyhe for not being the kind of lover who bugs his partner’s phone. Meanwhile!
“Everyone can have the rest of the day off!” Kyhe said, staring at the elevator. Emmari, who was watching him watching the elevator, decided to pretend to leave and would come back much later to see why he was staring at the elevator Jhonia took. Kyhe went back to his office while Jhonia arrived on the 7th floor. She walked into the office where a woman greets her with a smile.
Half an hour later, she returned to the President’s office and found that everyone was gone. Yet it was not even time for lunch, so where is everyone. She removed her coat and went to Kyhe’s office with the documents because they needed his signature. She enters the office without knocking and to her surprise Kyhe was drinking instead of working.
“Mr. Knight, where are the employees?” Jhonia asked him after addressing him, he looked up at her, with tears in his eyes.
“You, Jhonia, you're a very courageous woman. Do you have no heart for me at all?” In his husky voice he called her courageously and proceeded to ask. Jhonia sighs as she comes to realize that he is like that because he believes she went to Nearce.
“Kyhe? Hey look at me! I chose you. There was never a choice to begin with but since you made one, I want you to know that I chose you.” Jhonia questioningly called him and told him to look at her, when he did, she told him he was her choice. She explained that there wasn’t any but since he created one, she wants him to know that he is the one she chose.
