The following week.
“Do you think it's funny when you show up like this with no calls or no text no nothing?” Jhonia looked up at him even though she was happy inside she wanted to make you feel apologetic to her, for just popping up on her doorstep without a word say or a phone call.
"I am sorry. I'm sorry that I really wanted to see you outside of the office or before you come to the office and even after you left the office. I was hearing clearly when the love of my life said, "she didn't want any office romance or maybe I was hearing wrong. Did you change your mind?" Kyhe apologizes twice, saying to her with a smile. But Jhonia was not having it with him. He explained how he was hearing clearly when she told him she didn't want the office to know that they're dating or maybe it was him that was hearing her wrong then he asked her.
“What I said was, I didn't want the company employees to know that I am dating my boss, so I don't need you to be obvious when you see me. I said, you could see me on the weekend or after work during the night. I didn't say you should show up at my home while I'm in the middle of showering to go to work!” She explained to him that she had said to him about their office dating policy and not wanting anyone in the company to know that they're dating. He went to hide and explained what she had also said about them seeing each other on the weekends or after work during the nighttime and that he should not show up at her home in the morning while she's in the middle of taking a shower to go to work.
"Okay. You are right my love. I am sorry, I just miss you and I wanted to see you plus you look pretty showered up to me. Get dressed! I can drop you off at work, I can say I met you on the way plus I got you these and I really wanted to kiss you. I haven't done so in 24 hours." I said looking at her then he told her she's right he apologized and explained he just missed her and wanted to see her, so she looks like she's already finished showing to him. He tells her to get dressed stating before he said he could jump her off at work explaining he could say he met her on the way plus he got her a bunch of flowers and he really wanted to kiss her as he hasn't done so in the past 24 hours. He stared her down and up with his eyes filled with lust for touching her, holding her, squeezing her, kissing her, and so much more.
“You do know that I am right here, and I am aware of how you are looking at me! Mr. Knight I am your secretary at the moment, I am not the woman you were chasing, please pull yourself together and I will be ready in 20 minutes. Thank you for the roses by the way.” She said to him, looking at him with a serious face, saying that she's his secretary at the moment and not the lover he's trying to chase. She then told him she will be ready in 20 minutes before thanking him for the roses with a smile.
Jhonia stepped back inside leaving him at the door to enter at his own will! She took 15 minutes to get dressed coming out from her room Kyhe was stunned by the amazing way she could put a skirt and a light blue blouse on and make herself look perfect with just a darker colour coat alongside her sweet face, she exposes her face with no makeup but just lipgloss make him feel like he was seeing things.
"Were you always this pretty?" Kyhe asked thinking out loud he didn't realize what he said out loud and she looked fed up with him.
“Why? Do I tend to look like I'm wearing makeup from time to time?” Jhonia responded to his question with a question asking him she was not pleased with the way it sounded.
"Forgive me. I didn't mean to say it the way it sounded! It's just that you're not the type to go for makeup but still look this good. I'm wondering if in the past you liked makeup as much as you hated it?" He quickly asked for forgiveness and explained he didn't mean for it to sound in a bad way.
He then explained why he was asking because she's always looking good. He asked if it was because in the past, she liked makeup as much as she hated it now. Jhonia kept silent; it was as if she suddenly didn't know how to speak as quickly as she used to at that moment; she was no longer a quick thinker. She took a deep breath before she walked over to him. She stood close before him, close enough they were breathing down each other's face.
“When the time is right, I can tell you everything but not now, not today, today I just want to be me without a burden or a pain on my shoulder. I just want to be the secretary of the CEO of Sky, that's all I want for today, can you give me that?”
Jhonia said, responding to him telling him she will explain everything but not today, today she wanted to just be his secretary with no pain or burden but just the secretary of the CEO of Sky.
She asks, holding her composure not moving until he confirms he can give her that! But instead of responding to her he just hugged her like it was going to be the last time.
"I could give you the world if I had the world! How about I take you out today, somewhere where you feel at ease, somewhere where you feel like your pain is disappearing. But you have to trust the feeling that comes when he comes and let it go when it goes." Kyhe said to her, stating. He didn't smile and said to her explaining how he could take her somewhere she feels like her pain is disappearing, but she has to trust the feeling that comes when it comes and let go of the pain when it goes.
But she didn't understand what he was going on about, so she just nodded in his arms like a child that has lost everything. Even though she's not a child! she's someone who has and have lost everything, that's not what Kyhe see.
What he sees is a stronger woman who saved him so many times to a point where he's now in love and he wishes the person who's saving him on a daily basis is the person who deserves his true feelings with passion and caring, loving heart that he hid behind his poker face.
Time skipped and they arrived at the beach Jhonia acted as if was not where she expected him to take or wanted to go, for someone who has always been right for the past week she expects him to be right this time, but she had no idea why she was suddenly feeling down and was not in need of anything affectionate or passionate feelings.
“I thought you said, you were going to take me to a place where I could feel my pain disappear, but I also have to let it go when it goes. This is the ocean. How is this going to make my pain disappear?” Jhonia said explaining to him reminding him of his words then she said angrily before asking.
"Not long ago I was facing problems, problems that almost made me lose you. And that was the first time I felt like I needed to protect you at all costs even though you weren't mine to protect! I did anyway. I asked if you could trust me, but you couldn't because you didn't know if you could but now it's different. No, I'm not asking you to trust me, I'm telling you to trust me because I will never hurt you or fail you." Kyhe said reminding her about the scandal and how bad it got when it got out and he was going to lose her, and he didn't want to lose her so he would have protected her at all costs even when he knew she was not his to protect! He did it anyways at that time he asked her to trust him but this time he explained he's not asking her; he's telling her to trust him because he will never hurt her or fail her.
