Chapter 158: Chapter 158

The following day. Jhonia woke up in Kyhe's arms on the couch, she tried to move but he held her back! Jhonia was surprised by what makes her eager to get up but it was at that moment she began remembering how the night went.

“We could just watch a movie here, until the company lawyer gets back to me.” Jhonia said to Kyhe after they had finished making dinner together and enjoyed each other's company while cooking and then eating.

"Get back to you for- wait. The company as in my company?" Kyhe was getting ready to ask but after what she had said sank in he asked in surprise.

“Yes.” Jhonia responded to him and Kyhe placed the fork down next to his plate and looked over at her seat across from him.

"What for? Jhonia what are you up to?" Kyhe asked while looking at her for a few seconds and then called her name asking her.

“To get divorce publicly.” Jhonia said surprising Kyhe at the word divorce but at the word publicly he was confused. Why would she say it the way she did?

"Publicly? Did you get divorce secretly already?" Kyhe questions it and asks her if he picked his fork to begin eating.

“Yes.” Jhonia responded and his fork which he had picked up to begin eating once more he dropped it clinging against the plate, Jhonia looked up immediately staring at his shocking face.

“Why do you look like that? Kyhe are you okay?” Jhonia asked him but he was still silent, she asked if he was okay.

The response she gave him made him so happy he wasn't sure if he should shout from joy or ask if she was joking. Jhonia stood and began reaching over the table to touch him, but his sudden reaction frightened her but it was a kiss.

“Hmm, Kyhe.” She tried to stop him but he didn't... Time skipped!

"I get to pick the movie we watch. As a thank you for making me so happy." Kyhe said and Jhonia stood up from in front of the television with the remote, but then he added she turned around to him with surprise.

“I did?” She asked, walking over to him.

"Yes, very." He responded to her saying, Jhonia giggled and realized the couch won't work that way for her as it was rearranged by her and then Mrs. Pinnock.

“Help me put the bigger couch here and the small ones there, I want to lay down and watch the movie without issue after sitting for a while.” Jhonia said asking for his help to rearrange the sofa's back to their original place from how it was in the hotel, to how she set it then, Mrs. Pinnock rearranged it for her and now she is redoing it.... Afterwards they began the movie seated side by side, Kyhe received a phone call but was ignoring it.

“Can you take the call?” She asked, turning to him, but he was already staring at her when she turned to him. They took a moment staring at each other until Kyhe's gaze down at her lips.

"I could." He responded to her meeting her gaze.

“Then go ahead. It could be your mom?” She said to him, then added in question it might be his mother calling.

"Okay, it could be and I will take the call if you kiss me." Kyhe responded to her and said but quickly told her, he will take the call if she kisses him. Jhonia's eyes widened with surprise but she saw that he was determined to get that kiss if not the phone won't be answered. Jhonia got up and picked the phone instead without looking because of her petty anger with Kyhe for a kiss.

“Hello, he's not”

“Oh Jhonia, dear. Is it really you?” Mrs. Knight said with excitement and asked to make sure.

“Yes, it's me. Kyhe is, well, he's sleeping.” Jhonia responded to his mother and said before she found it hard to lie but said the words.

“Hehe”

"She's lying." Kyhe shouted and she turned around to him.

“I know. So innocent, she doesn't even know how to lie to me. Hehe, it's okay dear I'm just making sure he's at a safe place to stay.” His mother agreed with him, then called Jhonia innocent for not being able to lie to her, Kyhe stood and walked over to her after his mother finished speaking leaving Jhonia shocked.

“A safe place to stay!? You said?” Jhonia sated questioningly then asked as she turned around to look at Kyhe he was already standing so close.

“Oh to hell, Kyhe don't sneak up on me.” Jhonia was frightened by him suddenly standing there and so close.

"Mom, said I'm staying with you tonight." Kyhe said to Jhonia with a sad face hoping she would agree, on the other hand his mother smiled on the other side of the phone with excitement. Suddenly they're no longer speaking and she decided to end the call!

“Hmmm. Kyhe you mom, she's on the phone.” Regardless she was enjoying the moment, she regather he spoke with his mother about him staying there.

"The second we went silent she hung up and I'm staying, if not you will have to take it up with my mom." Kyhe said explaining to her his mother had long hung up and said which surprised her and stunned by his childish behaviour Jhonia really would not want to have his mother calling again.

“Why are you so childish?” Jhonia asks, staring at him in anger.

"You made me this way, the second you walked into my life. Though I do feel like punishing you for something, I can't, not yet!" Kyhe said and Jhonia was shocked, she made him that way in question she stared at him, but then he explained it was the moment she stepped into his office and into his life. He added his wish to punish her but he can't at least not yet... Back to the couch watching the movie until both fell asleep.

"Good morning, Ms. Soon to be my wife, because I'm going to ask you to marry the second he signs those public papers." Kyhe said good morning to Jhonia, then called her his soon to be wife, and explained why he did so.

“Good morning, and who said I was going to say yes...? Also, why are you still gripping onto me? We're both up and let go.” Jhonia responded to his good morning and said asking him, Kyhe smiled as he continued to lay behind her, she then added a question before telling him to let go.

"Are you in a rush to go wash up!? If that's the case don't forget I watched you sleep a few times and saw you wake up twice." Kyhe chuckled and asked Jhonia, he hugged her to him and explained his memory of watching her sleeping and times when she woke so gradually he knows what she looks like after waking up.

“Should you allow me to get up and make breakfast? You are a guest in this house, you do know that right?” Jhonia said to him and asked but then explained he's a guest there asking him.

"Does this mean I'm yours now?" Kyhe asked with excitement and let her go, which is what Jhonia wants. She stood to her feet realizing he's without a shirt.

“No. And where is your shirt?” She said to him coldly, breaking his happiness instantly. Then she asked him.

"You are wearing it. You were cold so I gave it to you. Why no?" Kyhe said and Jhonia looked at herself seeing his shirt on her, he explained to her but she doesn't remember such, then he asked her.

“I'm giving you a chance to win me over, fairly. And you weren't supposed to sleep here, not that I regret it but because I do like you”

"And I love you."

Jhonia was explaining to him, he needed to win her over fairly. (She loves him because he was replaced by Nearce while being similar and she doesn't want that!) Even though he wasn't supposed to be there she didn't regret it and she tells him why, but before she could finish Kyhe cuts her off and says to her. They stood staring at each other for a while.

“Then you need to make me love you... Until then be on the other side of the door with no funny business.” Jhonia said giving him hope that she will be his, and that's what he needed to hear. She then said to him pointing at the door. Kyhe nodded and took his jacket to go.

“I wasn't referring to, right now, will you at least eat first.” Jhonia said, stopping him from going then said he should eat first.
