“You’re very busy these past few days hanging out with Angel,” Allie said when she found me in the kitchen eating my breakfast.

We don’t have time to see each other these past few days since I started the training.

“Are you still mad at Angel, Allie?”

“I just don’t like her.”

“It’s okay if you dislike her but control your words. You’re hurting your mate and my mate too whenever you disrespect her. She’s a Luna and the most powerful wolf living in our world. Don’t make her dislike you.”

“You’re getting mad at me because of her?”

I understand she’s being emotional because of her pregnancy and just being jealous right now.

“I’m not mad at you. You’re like my sister Allie and I want you to do what’s right. She’s helping the pack and she’s being nice to me. I hope you can see that too. She doesn’t deserve the hate you’re throwing at her because it’s not her fault that Kayden once falls in love with her.” I said while holding her hands and looking into her eyes.

“Okay, I will try.” She said.

I hug her. “That’s okay.”

“Do you have training today?”

“Not today. Angel canceled it because of an emergency, why?”

“Can you accompany me to the city? I need to buy new clothes and things for my pregnancy.”

“Sure. Let me just change and tell Mark. Meet me outside in thirty minutes.” I said before running to my husband's office.

I open it without knocking. I didn’t know that Kayden is inside, they look like they are having a deep conversation.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I come back later.” I said.

“It’s okay Luna, we’re almost done here,” Kayden said.

“What is it, Wen?” Mark asked.

“Allie and I will go out to buy some stuff for her and the baby.”

“It’s okay with me, but Kayden do you know this?” Mark asked Kayden.

“No, Allie and I are not talking.”

“You should settle your problem as soon as possible. You too are going to be a parent a few months from now.”

“She’s the one who’s mad because of Angel. It’s not like I can erase my past, plus Angel is my good friend. I’m not cheating on her like what she claimed to be.” Kayden explained.

I feel bad for him.

“Don’t worry Kayden; I’ll talk to Allie about this again. We talked about that a while ago and I can see an improvement in her mind.”

“Thank you, Luna. Please take good care of her while she’s with you. I’ll try to talk to her again later when you get back.” Kayden.

“I will assign two guards for you two,” Mark said.

“No need for that. We’re just going to the city. No one will hurt us there. We’ll be back before you guys know it.” I said.

“It’s still dangerous outside.”

“Mark, it’s okay. Okay?”

He looks at me contemplating his decision before he gave in. “Okay, just be careful and call me when you need me. I will be there in no time.”

“Okay Mark, bye,” I said. I wave them goodbye before I went to my room and changed. I don’t want to make Allie wait for me. She’s not a patient woman.

In the City…

“What do you think about this one?” Allie asked, showing me a pair of blue baby clothes.

“How do you know that it’s a boy already?”

“I just feel.”

“I think we need to get a neutral color like white and yellow since we are just buying without the knowledge of your baby’s gender.”

“But I like the Blue one.”

I laugh at her actions. She stomps her feet on the ground and points to the blue baby clothes.

“Okay, Okay. Just pick one to two pieces. We can get other blue clothes when we know the gender.”

“You’re very strict Wendy.”

“I’m just looking out for you. If the baby is a girl, how can she use this shirt that was designed for a baby boy?” I asked.

“Fine!” She said after grabbing two pieces of clothing.

We went like ten stores here before Allie stops to buy. We got so much in our hands that I doubt if it will fit properly in the car.

As we are driving our way back home, I asked Allie about Kayden.

“Until when will you continue ignoring your mate?”

“Until I want to.”

“Allie….” I said in an irritating tone.

“Look Wen, I still don’t know when to be okay with his past with Angel. Seeing that he’s affected whenever I say something bad about that girl.”

“Because they are best friends.”

“Best friend my ass.”

“Do you want your baby to see you like this?” I know it's a low blow to use her baby but it may be effective.

She became silent.

“I don’t want to offend you to push you to like Angel. What I’m telling you is to accept the fact that she will be in our mates’ life. She’s their best friend and likes their sister. She’s a Luna and an ally of our pack. She will be here whenever you like it or not.”

“I-I will talk to Kayden later.”

“That’s good. Please be nice to him, I can see his struggling because he can’t even touch or talk to you especially since you’re pregnant with his child.”

“Sometimes I wonder if I am your best friend of Kayden.” We laugh our way back in the pack.

When we arrived, Kayden and Mark are already outside waiting for us.

“Did you have fun?” Mark asked.

“Yes,” I answer after giving him a kiss.

I saw Allie do the same to Kayden and I watch how he brighten up after Allie kiss him.

“When can we have kids too?” Mark asked suddenly.

Even it didn’t cross my mind yet, seeing Allie having a baby bump makes me jealous. Although it’s too early for me and Mark, I think I want one too.

“Why? Do you want one now?”

I forgot that my mate doesn’t know what a joke means.

“Of course!”

We both laugh on our way to our room.
