Chapter 36: Chapter 36

Chapter 35

Alessia Claw ~

Our best chance is breaking into the lycan lands and using Cassius’ doorway. That way, I can get to her and still have my powers to defend her plus that would enable me to bring her home. Although, that would not be easy as it stands because of the fact that even to her, we do not exist.

At least not any more.

“The first tasks would be to break down that barrier that keeps those lands impenetrable.” I said to the four supernaturals’ that gathered beside me. “I know that we’ve tried using the powers of even the elder practitioners of magic and it was all to no avail but this time, we are going to do what we should have done a long time ago.” I added with all seriousness written on my face.

“Surely, you don’t make reference to the…”

“Yes! That’s the only way! Only a Galvan of her talent can help us!” I said putting a witch of track. “We have to join our powers together and release her. Her powers teleportation to be precise is just what we need to get past the barrier and into the Lycan Royal Castle where I suspect that Cassius would have had the doorway opened.”

“As soon as we are in, I may be able to get us all to the doorway without coming in contact with any of his lycans. I believe that we have fought quite enough battles against them.” I added stretching forth my hands so I could combine powers and release the ancient beast that Frederick and I had imprisoned ever since it killed our mother a very long time ago.

After the late vampyre queen, mother to both Frederick and Alessia Claw had an impact with an evil creature of magic known as a Galvan, the entire kingdom grieved her loss. The queen lost her life during the impact and the royal family with aid of some grand-warlocks caught the beast and imprisoned it in a prison-like dimension.

It was kept a secret from the rest of outside world.

Only a specific command of magic done by any of the members of the then Royal family can free it from its prison and seeing as the late King Alaric is pretty well, LATE and Frederick is at the other side of the physical realm, Alessia is the only one capable of opening that prison. Everyone knows that no creature can be as wild as an evil-minded Galvan but Alessia appears to be in a bubble.

Alessia has to do what she must just so her daughter doesn’t get harmed by Cassius and she is prepared to do whatever it takes.

“You know that if we do this, there’s no going back? You may have enough energy to open the prison and release the creature that your father trapped seven centuries ago but you and I both know that you don’t have enough power seven with us by your side to force it back into that prison nor can you control it to do as you wish.”

“Before now, everyone in the outside world who weren’t there during the imprisonment, all take it that the last Galvan in existence was good of heart but got corrupted by Cassius and now, it works hand in paw with him. They think Galvans to be extinct.”

“That Galvan was pure of heart until Cassius ruined him. Picture what can happen with a Galvan that by nature is dark of heart and mind. Picture all the calamities that would befall this world and the human world if Cassius gets his hand on a powerful creature like that.”

“We’ll figure it out! Right now, the number one priority is getting my daughter out of harm’s way.” “Let’s go!” I said and after a few seconds, the two witches gave me their hands and theirs to each other forming the shape of a triangle.

“Take us to Malkravia (x4)” we closed our eyes as we casted the spell and on the forth incantation of the magical words, a gateway opened within the triangle that we had formed and we were sucked in.

I opened my eyes and there I was a pace away from the prison or rather, the cage where I, Frederick and my late dad had imprisoned the Galvan with the help of some grand-warlocks.

All I need do was to touch the cage and call out her name and she would be free. In this dimension, there was very little presence of magic so she doesn’t have enough strength after she had stayed here for more than a thousand years to do harm to any harm to any one of us owing to the fact that she may have a reason to do it.

I guess she noticed our presence because as soon as I stretched forth my hands to have skin contact with the cage, she came forward to my direction.

“Make it quick! This transportation spell doesn’t last for long and if we can’t get her out now, we will have to wait until another moon to do it.” The second witch said in a low tone in the wake of my ear.

I touched the cage and sensed a wave of energy run all across it. I knew that I was probably going to regret doing this sooner or later but I did it anyways.

“Jessie.”

I called out the name that I had given to her when we first met, when she was just a cub. At the utter of her name, the energy that ran from my hand to all the parts of the cage ran back into me and as it did, the cage began falling apart. The magic that had held it strong for more than a thousand years was no more there.

“You’ve done it!” the second witch said and with all of our hands joined, we reversed the spell and immediately, I, the two witches and Jessie were engulfed in the same gateway.

“Do you think she would help us?” the witches asked simultaneously as we got back to our world.

“Yes! She has to!”
