Adrian's POV
For the next few days, I was very busy with two back-to-back presentations for our hotel construction business which Tristan manages. Azura was busy with her semester exams for which she took Julian's help as he had a bachelor's degree from the Culinary Institute of America, New York.
Tristan suddenly invited both of us to his home for dinner to announce his wedding plans. Another wedding? I wanted to spend some time alone with Azura, figure out our relationship, and tell her how I feel about her but maybe that would have to wait.
We got ready and left for Tristan's penthouse. The whole family would be there to plan their wedding together. I couldn't take my eyes off Azura who was looking beautiful as always wearing a wine-colored, a-line crepe dress with a matching coat. She had fixed her hair in a bun, but I loosened it and left it untied. I couldn't help it, I loved it that way.
We were the last to reach, still, dad whisked my Azura away to the kitchen, to check out what Amelia had cooked. I can't fathom what fascination these two have in the kitchen at every get-together that we go to.
I walked over to Tristan. "Support me, dude, okay?" he said ready to start a battle.
"Anytime bro," I assured.
When the whole family was assembled after dinner, Tristan and Amelia announced their wedding plans. Everyone was ecstatic especially mom as she wanted to invite her sisters beforehand. Then Tristan dropped the bombshell. He wanted the wedding in two weeks' time. Mom and gran went crazy, whining, begging, and trying to convince bro to change his mind and give them some time to complete all the preparations. Tristan as we all knew never changes his mind and therefore threatened them that he would elope with Amelia. It was dad who finally came to the rescue and settled the matter.
Their wedding would take place two weeks from now at our brand new, Springwell Lakeland Club and Resorts located on the shores of Lake George, a 4-hour drive from here.
They all drew the guest list and discussed the details, while I sat there with Julian. "When are you planning your wedding Jules? Hope it's not a week after Tris's wedding?" I asked him, as I had to be free to attend Theo's wedding.
"No, no, I don't yet know how she feels about me. After Tris's wedding, I'll pop the question to her. Then maybe get married in a month," he said frankly.
"That's fine. Theo's wedding is two weeks after Tris's," I said as he nodded in understanding.
We left shortly afterward and went home. For the next few days, I was busy with Tristan at the head office with the signing of contracts with a Malaysian hotel giant who was happy with my presentation and wanted us to construct their mega hotel in Singapore.
I had given my debit card to Azura as she went with Emerald to the seamstress to get her dresses ready for both weddings. Amelia was already busy with her own wedding so they went to a different seamstress.
Theo, Xander, and I would go to get our tuxes ready after the office tomorrow.
When I returned home, Azura was cooking dinner, swaying her hips, and dancing freely to the music that was on, 'Dancing on my own,' by Robynn.
I was turned on by the sight. She didn't see me, so I dropped my laptop bag on the sofa, and opening my suit and tie, went up to her from behind and slid my arms around her waist, pulling her into my body.
Azura's POV
I shrieked in fright at being suddenly pulled into a warm chest.
"It's only me, babe," he said and I heaved a sigh of relief.
Clutching my heart I turned around to face him, "You scared me, who does that, creeping up so suddenly?"
He grinned, "I would have missed the sexy dance moves if I didn't creep up."
Rolling my eyes I went to serve dinner. "Can't help it, I'm born sexy. Everyone at the boutique thought so too," I said as he reached me in two strides and pulled me to him again.
"Who thought so? Were you with guys?" he growled angrily.
"No, the seamster and his assistants," I said confusedly. Why was he making such a big deal out of it?
His eyes popped out, "You guys went to a seamster?" he asked gritting his teeth with anger as if it was the biggest issue now.
"Yeah, Emerald took me to him. Her friends recommended him to her," I said confused at his behavior.
His hands turned into tight fists and his jaw clenched in barely controlled anger." Did he touch you? Did he take your measurements?" he ground out with barely concealed anger.
I was getting a little apprehensive by now at his attitude, "No, he didn't touch me. Why should he? He just took the measurements."
"It's the same thing, isn't it?" he asked staring angrily at me while I gaped at him with confusion. Then it dawned on me that he might be jealous!
"No, it's not, he's gay. He just did his job," I said. Why couldn't he understand that I would never do such a thing? Noah was a middle-aged married gay man, who designed wedding dresses along with his better half, Denver. They have adopted children too.
"One look at you, even a gay guy will turn straight," he said as I rolled my eyes. By now I was sure that Adrian was extremely jealous!
"Are you jealous Adrian?" I asked as I stroked his cheek and unbuttoned his shirt, stroking his chest, teasing him a little.
"Yes I am, shouldn't I be?" he said as he closed his eyes and his breath hitched while I continued to stroke him.
"No, you have no reason to be. The seamster and his partner are a middle-aged gay couple with adopted children of my age," I told him as he opened his eyes and listened intently.
"Oh, why didn't you say so?" He said as he grinned and kissed me passionately before we sat down to dinner.
We had the dresses ready on time. Theo and Adrian also had their tuxes stitched from Noah and Denver.
Three days before the wedding, we both reached Tristan's penthouse where the whole family was gathered and we left for the venue together.
It was a beautiful 20-acre lakefront property with panoramic views of the Adirondack mountains, with two private sandy beaches on Lake George. Adrian chose a beautiful lakefront cottage with a private deck, which was closer to the beach and farthest from the cottage where mom and dad stayed.
We had back-to-back events, the first day was Amelia's bridal shower, next day we hosted a joint bachelorette party for both Tristan and Amelia. On the last day was the wedding. We enjoyed, sang, and danced, and the next day Tristan and Amelia left for their honeymoon to Greece and we returned home.
