Cassandra's POV

We opted for a simple pre-wedding party instead of separate bachelorette and stag parties. It was better that way and everyone agreed. It was very enjoyable indeed with lots of games, food, and gossip. As Amelia, Anna, and I were expecting, mom organized a very simple, fun party at noon. Claire brought Carolyn and Max just adored her. He had liked Avery's baby before and now after being with Carolyn for a longer time, he just couldn't leave her alone. He followed Claire around just to be near Carolyn, who couldn't take her eyes off him.

We played musical chairs which Adrian won, and chased Azura around for a kiss, which he claimed was the only prize he needed for the win! Gran pulled him by his ears and made him sit beside her. Azura went to hide behind mom. Aunt Emily glared at Adrian as I and Amelia smothered our giggles. Everything in our family was melodramatic and weird and Aunt Emily seemed to have difficulties with our rowdy ways. She was a little backdated in her thoughts and scolded mom for spoiling us all.

There was a round of karaoke, and we discovered what a wonderful singer Adrian was. On our joint request he strummed the guitar and sang an old soulful number by Richard Marx, "Right here waiting for you," his eyes fixed upon Azura as he sang putting his heart, soul, emotions everything into the song. His song was followed by Tristan's recital of a beautiful poem that he had written for Amelia. It was so heart-touching that we all had tears in our eyes. The mood however was lightened by the next game, The scavenger hunt. In this game, everyone had to hunt for the things on their list. Four people made a group. Even the children were included. We had so much fun. Dad, Arielle, Julian, and Max as a team won the game.

Anna felt exhausted, so Stefan took her to their room. She had her lunch in her room. Amelia had lunch and excused herself to her room too. Claire went up to breastfeed Carolyn and put her to sleep. So the party was more or less over as gran was escorted by her nurse, Ellie Stewart to her room. Mom asked me to rest before the campfire in the evening. The children left for the nursery accompanied by Beth and Nora. So, Julian escorted me to our room. The others wanted to have a drink or two at the bar. I was totally exhausted and changed and lay on the bed when Julian joined me.

"Isn't it a heavenly feeling with our wedding day coming up soon?" asked Julian and I nodded, laying my head on his chest.

"Yes, it's almost like a dream!" I admitted. We made out a little before I took a nap to freshen myself up for the bonfire party in the evening.

The party was enjoyable as all our family get-togethers were but we retired early while the others enjoyed it till late.

The next day, I was eagerly waiting for aunt Caroline and Avery since morning. They were like my own family and I wanted them to be there on my wedding day. At last, they arrived and hugged me tightly. I introduced them to everyone. They were my only guests. The rest of the guests had also arrived. The decorations were almost complete. There was excitement in the air, as the wedding day approached. I had a spa massage in my room, followed by a facial, pedicures, and manicures to groom me for my special day. Avery and I caught up and spend nearly the whole day together. Her twins were a handful and I warmed up to them. Aunt Caroline had tears in her eyes seeing how happy I and Max was. Julian roamed about all day with Max upon his shoulders. They were the cutest duo in the house.

I was allowed to spend the night before with Julian as he too followed Tristan's lead and carried me up to our room. I am pregnant already, so mom just chuckled and left us in peace. Gran turned away knowing it would be useless to even talk to him. Aunt Emily glared at us but it didn't affect us at all! I obviously turned a blind eye to her angry glare!

He closed the door and took me in his arms. "Are you excited?" He asked staring into my eyes.

"Yeah, very. What about you?" I asked, stroking his cheek.

He just claimed my lips in a soul-stirring kiss, which deepened as he explored my mouth, playing a duel with my tongue. I kissed him back in the same way, deeply, madly, passionately till he pulled away to catch our breaths. His mouth sucked the sensitive spot on my neck, "Please Julian, don't give me a love bite. I wouldn't be able to cover it up tomorrow," I begged him, but his eyes twinkled with determination and I groaned.

"I want everyone to see it," he said as he sucked the sensitive spot more. I didn't argue. It was useless anyway. If he wanted it that way, then I would mark him as well.

"I'll do the same to you, just you wait," I threatened him making him chuckle.

"I can't wait," he said with an amused look on his face. "But remember that every time they see it, they'll tease you." My eyes widened and I started having second thoughts already. Julian chuckled seeing my state.

"Just kidding, darling. I'm yours to be marked," he whispered as if telling me a secret. I winked at him. Of course, he was just as I was his to be marked and he had already.

He didn't waste a single minute as his hands pulled down the zip of my dress letting it fall to the floor in a heap. His hands stroked my body going to unclasp my b*a, which he opened effortlessly, letting it drop to the ground. His hands stroked my core and the other hand just pulled my pa*ties off and threw them somewhere. He picked me up effortlessly and carried me to the bed. As he lay me down, I realized that tonight was the last day that I would be his fiancee. From tomorrow onwards, we would make love to one another as a married couple, as husband and wife.

"Tonight is special and I want to make it memorable for us," said Julian, his eyes gazing into mine. Of course, I knew what he meant. It was indeed a special night for us. I watched him with hooded eyes as he hovered over me, his eyes speaking a thousand words, while his hands trying to please me, make me feel special. I felt treasured and pulled him into my arms, surrendering myself already. I tried to please him just as he did and he groaned with ecstasy. It amazed me to know the effect I had upon him. Of course, he had the same effect on me. From tomorrow we would start a new life together as a married couple. It was a surreal feeling indeed but I knew that with a love as strong as ours, we could achieve anything.
