Cassandra's POV
Excitedly, we waited for them to appear when suddenly Stefan, Jason, Julian, Tristan, and Adrian appeared out of nowhere and came and sat down beside us. Claire glared at all of them, "What are you all doing here? This is an all-women party," she scolded them but they turned a deaf ear to her.
Tristan said, "We've suddenly become deaf," They all nodded agreeing unanimously.
"But you heard that?" said mom glaring at them.
"Pleaseeeee mom, I have to see this. Don't be a spoilsport," said Adrian giving mom puppy dog eyes.
Before mom could answer, Azura came out leading gran to the deck for their performance. With Azura looking incredibly gorgeous wearing an ocean blue maxi dress cinched at the waist, accentuating her figure, making her look mesmerizing, Adrian's jaw dropped upon seeing her. He sat beside Claire staring at her intensely while she was shocked to see him. Obviously, she wasn't to be blamed as they were the unwanted audience. Claire, I, Anna, and Amelia looked at one another and smothered our giggles knowing how difficult it would be for us to perform with them ogling at us. We could see the whipped look on Adrian's face which made Azura blush to a deep shade of red.
The men cheered gran who wore the same dress as Azura, only white in color. They had floral hair accessories matching their dresses and sported the Bohemian look so well. The music was played and they swayed and danced in perfect harmony and synchronization. The boys whistled cheering them on while Adrian sat there in a daze, staring at Azura while Claire pinched him to bring him back to reality, but he just rubbed the area and kept on staring. We giggled at his sorry state as Azura kept on dancing with red flushed cheeks, noting everything that was happening around her.
Their performance was over and we applauded them but before we could continue with the other performances, the men took over, wanting to perform for us. We cheered them as they danced perfectly to DJ Snake and Justin Bieber's song, "Let me love you." They were amazing dancers, I had to admit. I sat mesmerized while Julian stared at me as if dancing only for me. The rest of the girls were equally mesmerized by them, Amelia smiled as Tristan danced for her. Stefan danced for Anna as she blew him kisses. Claire had a goofy smile on her face as Jason gyrated for her blowing a kiss her way, which she caught and pressed to her heart.
Adrian's eyes were hooked upon Azura as he danced and sang for her. She blushed watching him dance for her. We all applauded them but gran whistled at the end of their performance. We chuckled at her with amazement.
"When did you guys practice?" Asked Claire puzzled.
"It was gran's idea, and we all practiced yesterday night after you went off to sleep," Stefan said as Claire glared at him.
"Not fair, you left me out," she grumbled.
"You can dance at my wedding, sis," Adrian said with a wink as he turned to stare at Azura all the more. Azura turned the other way knowing that now all speculations would be directed at them.
"When's your wedding, Addy?" Claire asked grinning as she too turned towards Azura.
"Soon, soon," he said but Azura excused herself and escaped to the washroom, eager to get away. He ran after her too and we chuckled. It was a common past-time with us and we enjoyed pulling each other's legs.
I sat down with them while the boys left to go surfing as they joked and laughed at how they bowled us over with their performance. I couldn't but smile at their enthusiasm. It was true of course that I was bowled over by Julian's performance. a giddy smile lingered on my face knowing that he danced only for me.
I sat down with Anna while everyone came to give me my bridal shower presents. Mom gave me a beautiful pendant with diamond-encrusted letters "CJ" set within a heart, completed by a yellow gold bail. It reminded me of Julian's tattoo! It was exquisite and personally made only for me. She hugged me, "God bless you, dear, I couldn't ask for more from you. Wish you have a perfectly happy life with my Julian," she said.
I kissed her cheek, "Thank you, mom," I told her.
Gran gave me a delicate 14K yellow gold bracelet featuring beautiful emeralds in an X-link design. It was enchanting, I never owned so much expensive jewelry ever in my life. I kissed gran and thanked her sincerely, she hugged me tightly and said, "Don't stop at two, I want more," as I grinned.
Claire gave me a beautiful wristwatch, Azura gave me a box of perfumes, and Amelia gave me a flowing dress in red, backless, with a side slit and very very revealing. I looked at it and blushed, "Seduce him in this," she said as I looked at her incredulously.
"She doesn't need to. Julian is always ready," said Claire rolling her eyes.
"She needs this," said Anna with a devilish smile, as she handed me a box of condoms.
"Are you returning it?" I asked, remembering I gave her the same at her bridal shower.
"No silly, I will use those now, for at least five years," she said grinning as gran glared at her and we all chuckled.
We had a buffet lunch where the boys and children also joined us. I fed Max as Claire went up to her room to breastfeed Carolyn. Jason fed Alexander and we enjoyed the light teasings and easy chit-chat. It was the most enjoyable bridal shower party and for the first time in my life, I didn't miss not having anyone. My parents might not be there to witness the most important day of my life but I was sure they were blessing me from up above.
Tomorrow there would be a joint bachelorette party for both Julian and me, so mom did not want us to stay up till late. The evening was free, so we all played card games and watched a movie together.
