Chapter 89 Planning

MAIA'S POV

After we talked about the falls, we decided to keep the plan to ourselves. The only ones who knew were Lucius, Neal, and the Gamma. We had to be careful until we found the culprit.

As I thought about what Lucius told me, I couldn't help but get excited.

'I hope that the Moon Goddess will bless us with a child.' I said in my head while my hand was over my stomach.

'I am sure she will. You deserve to be a mother, Maia,' Avi commented.

I couldn't help but smile at the thought of it.

"What made my Queen smile?" Lucius asked, pulling me out of my trance.

"Nothing. Are you done with work?" I replied, asking.

"Not entirely. We still have to prepare for your ceremony," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"But, is it safe to do it now? I mean with the possibility of an attack, is it wise to do so?" I asked, hesitantly.

"If we don't do it as planned, they will know that something is up and that we know about their plans. We have to pretend as if we know nothing," he replied.

"But what about the safety of our pack? You do know that their lives will be in danger if they plan to call back during the ceremony, right?" I asked.

"There is nothing you should worry about. Neal and I have already planned the security measures for the ceremony," he replied.

I let out a defeated sigh when I saw that he was not changing his mind about it anymore.

"Don't worry. It will be fine. I promise," he said, pulling me into a hug.

After I calmed down a bit, I called Emily.

"Queen Luna, you called for me?" She asked upon entering the room.

"Yes. I need to start planning for the ceremony and I need your help. Please bring me a list of all the things that we need for it and everything that needs to be decided by me." I replied.

" Of course, Queen Luna. Give me about two hours to get the list prepared," she said.

"Sure. Thank you, Emily," I replied.

After Emily left, I went and made a list of my own.

What I hoped to be hours of planning became days. Before I ever knew it, a week had already passed by.

"What color for the table cloth, Queen Luna?" One of the Omegas asked.

"Make it white with a touch of gold," I replied.

"Ribbons or flowers?" Emily asked.

"Flowers."

"Red carpet or blue carpet," another asked.

I looked at her with a questioning look.

"Red carpet is for higher rankings and blue carpets are normally used by royalties," she replied.

"Let's keep it simple. No carpets. Just trails of flowers," I said.

She looked at me as if I grew another head magically.

"What? There is no need for it to be very extravagant. Simple is beautiful," I added.

She stared at me for a couple of seconds before nodding her head.

"Desserts?"

"Red velvet cake."

"Red wine or white wine?"

"Red."

I spent the next hour answering questions. Once we were done, I felt exhausted.

After they left my room, I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. I barely did anything yet it still gave me a headache.

I was about to fall asleep when I felt a hand massaging my back.

"Did they tire you out again?" Lucius asked while his hands massaged my body.

"Mmmhmmm," I replied.

"I am sorry. I promise there won't be another party that you have to plan for the next couple of months," he said.

"I think I should ban parties from now on," I replied, jokingly.

He massaged my back for a couple of minutes until I felt kisses on my neck.

"Lucius, no. We still have to go over the plans later," I whimpered.

"You can always cancel, you know. Perks of being Queen Luna," he whispered.

Shivers ran through my spine as I shuddered.

Before I could even reply, he turned me over so I was laying on my back and his lips found their way to mine.

No matter how hard I tried to control myself, Avi betrayed me. My moans came out as muffled whimpers as his hands played with my breasts over my dress.

Heat spread all over my body until I was begging him for more. It was as if my body conspired with Avi.

He began to tease every single part of my body until I was a mess down there. Without even touching myself, I could feel that there was already a pool of juice from the guilty pleasure that I was in.

"Should I stop?" He whispered, biting my earlobes sending thousands of tingling sensations.

I was having uneven breaths from trying to control myself.

"Please," I whimpered.

He let out a chuckle as he gladly complied.

"Don't worry. I will make sure that you won't regret rescheduling, my Queen," he said.

It was the last thing he said that I could remember.

Events of that afternoon went by swiftly.? What started on the bed led to the wall to the bathroom and even to the balcony.

Our afternoon sex did not end until almost midnight. We practically sprawled on my bed, exhausted from the extreme sexual session we just had.

It was so intense that I even dreamt of it. The way he touched me, the way his tongue fucked me while he was playing with my clit. The feelings were so intense that I thought that it was still real.

I woke up the next morning next to his sleeping face.

My heart somersaulted as I stared at him.

'How did I end up with such a handsome, loving, and caring man like him? What did I do to deserve him?' I asked myself.

'You are an amazing she-wolf, Maia. You deserve to have everything you have right now. I know that when the time is right, the Moon Goddess will bless you with a child,' Avi said.

'I really hope so, Avi,' I replied.

I closed my eyes and let myself fall back to sleep right next to my mate.
