The moment I turned to my side, I came face to face with the person I was dreading to see.

'That bitch! Let me claw her face right now!' Avi exclaimed.

'Calm down, Avi. We can't stoop down to their level, remember?' I replied, calming her down.

"You! What the hell are you doing back in here, slut? Are you trying to crawl your way back to my mate's bed?" She shrieked as she stomped her way to me.

I let out a scoff and shook my head.

'Did that bitch just call us a slut? I swear, Maia. Let me out and I will show her who the real slut is!' Avi shouted, trying to force her way out.

'AVI!' I yelled, and it got her attention.

I let out a sigh and looked at her.

"Are you talking about yourself? Because the only person who is trying to crawl their way to somebody else's mate is YOU." I replied, emphasizing on the last part.

"Ugh! You got some nerves, bitch!" She exclaimed.

"What? Did I hit a nerve? Daddy's princess couldn't get what she wanted, so she tried to seduce King Alpha instead." I replied, taunting her.

She was fuming with anger as she tried to slap me on the face.

"You better watch your mouth, slut. I don't tolerate disrespect from low life people like you!" She spat.

I let out a laugh as I looked at her.

"You think I am still the same old me you met before? Well, sorry to break your bubble, I am not. I am here to stay because this is where I belong. If you don't like it, you can help yourself out. I am pretty sure that you know the way." I said with a smirk on my face.

I saw her hand from the corner of my eye and stopped it midway.

"Tsk." I said, shaking my head while holding her wrist.

I tightened my hold until I saw her wince.

"You just signed your death sentence." I said.

I let her hand go before slapping her back real hard. I seem to have slapped her so hard that she fell on the floor.

I kneeled beside her and held her chin so that she was looking me in the eye.

"Are you hurt, Lady Pamela? Do you need help standing up? You look like you're about to cry." I asked.

She just looked me in the eye with shock and fear written all over her face.

"Just as I thought so. Stubborn yet pathetic." I said with a smirk.

I stood up and walked away, leaving her on the floor.

'I could have clawed her face, but her face was priceless,' Avi commented.

'Patience, Avi. We can't beat fire with fire,' I simply replied.

Emily opened my bedroom door and I let out a sigh as soon as I entered.

"Finally! It's good to be back in my little haven." I said with a smile on my face.

"That was amazing, Queen Luna. Her look was priceless. She did not see it coming." Emily gushed about what had happened.

"Oh well, I hope she has already left the floor because I wouldn't want to see her there when we get out. She has already wasted too much of my time. We need to hurry. I want to visit the pack house today," I said, heading towards my closet.

I took a simple yellow dress before closing it again. I headed to the bathroom and changed real quick before sitting in front of my vanity. Emily helped me with my hair before we went to the kitchen.

Thankfully, Pamela was no longer on the floor when we passed by.

As soon as I entered the kitchen, the Omegas erupted in screams and tears of joy.

"Queen Luna, you have returned!"

"Oh! Thank the Moon Goddess! She answered our prayers!"

"We missed you, Queen Luna!"

"We thought you were never coming back."

They engulfed me in a hug as they cried in happiness.

"I have missed you all as well. You do not know how sad I was thinking about all of you. Well, I am back and I am here to stay. So, to spread happiness, let's bake some brownies and prepare lots of food for the pack house. What do you all say?" I asked.

"It would be our honor, Queen Luna." the head Omega replied.

With that, we immediately dived into preparing the food. I instructed each of them with what to do while Emily and I were preparing the batter for the brownies.

After hours of tasting the food from one pot to another, we had finally finished cooking. The meals were prepared, and it filled the entire table with lots of food.

I told them to get changed since we all smelled like a variety of food already before I headed to my room myself. Emily insisted on preparing my bath for me, so I allowed her. By the time I finished my bath, Emily was already back and looking all fresh.

She helped me get into my dress and put my hair into a bun. Once I was all set and ready to go, we stopped by Lucius' office. I had invited him. It would also be good since the people had not seen him for almost 2 months.

The guards at the door immediately opened the door as soon as they saw me.

"Queen Luna." They greeted me.

I gave them a slight nod and smiled as I entered the office.

"Queen Luna." Neal greeted, standing up from his seat.

"Hi, Neal." I replied.

"Maia, are you coming back from the pack house?" Lucius asked, standing up from his seat.

"No. Actually, I am here to invite both of you. We have prepared enough food to throw a feast at the pack house. It would be a good way to let the people know you are okay." I said.

"That is a good idea, Queen Luna. I think you should go, King Alpha." Neal agreed.

Lucius let out a sigh and smiled at me.

"Okay, then. If my Queen requests for my presence, then I shall go. Let me just take a shower real quick. You should come along, Neal." Lucius replied.

"As you wish, King Alpha." Neal said.

Emily and I sat on the couch while waiting for Lucius and Neal.

"The King Alpha looks thrilled. I have never seen him this happy." Emily said.

I looked at her and smiled.
