Sebastian's lips tugged up into a smile as he nodded, "Yes and he's going to regret attacking us last night."

The car ride was short with Sebastian and I talking about some things here and there. We soon reached the office and made our way into Wolfe Corp's building, holding hands. As we reached the elevator, he pressed the button for it to open and soon, the doors opened. Three people were inside, two were hewolves and one was a human woman. As soon as the two saw us, they greeted us with large smiles, "Morning, Alpha Boss and Luna."

The way they addressed him means that they were part of the packs that he ruled as the Alpha Mafia Boss and I felt amazed. The female human glanced at them with a weird look as if wondering why they were addressing Sebastian that way. However, she didn't comment on it, she turned to us and gave a tight smile as she greeted, "Morning, Sir and Miss."

We entered the elevator as Sebastian answered them, "Morning to you all."

"Good morning!" I exclaimed, feeling excited and happy that morning.

The two smiled kindly while the human looked jealous as she looked at Sebastian and I's joined hands. As he pressed my floor button, he leaned over to my ear, his hot breath hitting my earlobe and I almost moaned. His velvety, deep, yet smooth voice came as he murmured, "My wolf and I can't wait to mark you tonight, cupcake."

His words reminded me that I have promised to let him mark me today and my wolf purred in excitement. I was excited too, but also a bit scared, not knowing how it would go. So I parted my lips to reply, "My wolf and I can't wait either… Are we doing it at mine?"

As he went to reply, his hot breath hit my earlobe again and my tummy squeezed with desire, "Yeah, but I have some work that I need to do tonight. I'll have George bring over one of your cars before you're off work. So you can go back and I'll join you as soon as I'm done."

"Okay." I answered him in a breathy voice, trying not to let my arousal show from his teasing.

'It's fine to let our mate know about our arousal for him. He would love it.'

He brushed his lips against my earlobe and a delightful shiver ran through me. He murmured, "And your wolf is right, I love knowing just how ready you are for me to take you, my one."

His words sounded so s*xy that butterflies erupted in my tummy and my breathing deepened. I glanced back at him as I asked, "You can hear my wolf?"

Sebastian leaned back as he replied to me, "Yeah, I can hear your wolf. That's part of my Alpha powers."

"Whoa! That's incredible!" I exclaimed, feeling amazed as I stared at him.

His lips quirked up into a proud smile as he nodded. The elevator doors opened at that moment and he leaned over to brush his lips against my forehead, "Take care, cupcake. I'll see you tonight."

"Okay, but what about lunch?" I asked him, curiously and in longing while the three people walked out of the elevator and made their way down the hallway.

He shook his head, "I can't, I have too much on my plate today."

I let out a disappointing sigh and let his hand go, "Alright, I'll see you tonight, sweetie."

I stepped out of the elevator just as the doors started closing and made my way to our open office. Thankfully, manager Heather wasn't standing there and waiting to scold me today even though I was dating the CEO and owner of that company which means that I could get her fired if I wanted to.

As I entered the office, I noticed the human woman from the elevator sitting at cubicle 05 with another human woman standing at her cubicle. They were whispering and glancing over at me as they pointed. It was obvious that they were so jealous of me and my relationship with Sebastian. I could also tell that they were saying trash about me, yet the couldn't say it to my face.

If I wanted, I could use my werewolf hearing to eavesdrop on their conversation, but I didn't care about them enough to do that. So I ignored them and made my way to my cubicle where I saw that Tess hasn't come in yet since her cubicle was empty. I sighed and sat down on my seat then proceeded to switch on my computer and start working on my articles.

It was soon time for me to leave which was 2:00PM, so I switched off my computer and pulled out my phone from my purse to text Sebastian that I was leaving. I went over to WhatsApp and to his name on my phone which was, 'My mate'. I texted him, 'Hey, sweetie. I'm leaving now, can't wait to see you tonight.'

Placing my phone back inside my purse, I looked up at Tess as I stood up, "Hey, I'm leaving."

She glanced over at me with a smile touching her lips, "Okay, but I still have some work to do since I came a little late today. See you tomorrow, oh wait, tomorrow is Saturday, so I'll see you on Monday."

I returned her smile, "Yeah, I'll see you on Monday and don't let manager Heather know that you came late."

She chuckled at the last part and I nodded, "I won't."

I turned around and made my way out of the office, then the elevator and the building. As I stepped out of the building, chauffeur George instantly walked over to me from leaning against the Bugatti that I picked. He smiled as he handed the keys over to me, "Here are the keys, Miss."

"Thanks, George." I returned his smile and took the keys from him.

He nodded at me abd started walking away while I walked over to the driver's side to climb in. As I did, I started the car and started driving, my lips stretched into a large smile the whole time because I was so happy to not only have a car, but a sports car that was worth millions of dollars.

I also loved the feel of the black leather under my hands as I gripped the steering wheel. I moved my hand to the stereo to switch on something entertaining. A talk show came on and then some country music. I changed the station again and a story came on. A woman was reading a novel on the station and I found that entertaining. So I listened to it for the rest of the ride to my apartment.

The ride wasn't long and I parked on the curb of the apartment building. As I climbed out, I heard a voice ask in shock, "Kat, is that you?"

I closed the door then locked it before turning around to see my neighbor, Henry. He looked shocked to see me with such a big car. I smiled at him tightly since I remebered how he tried to get in my pants, "Hey, Henry."

"How in the hell did you get a Bugatti?! How did you suddenly turn rich?!"

"I didn't suddenly turn rich, Henry. My boyfriend gave this to me as a gift, not that it is any of your business."

He shook his head in disbelief, "Sierra was right when she said that your boyfriend is Sebastian Wolfe, the billionaire! But is it also true that he's your sugar daddy?"

I looked at him with a frown on my brows at that absurd question, "What? Do I look like the type to have a sugar daddy? Listen, Sierra used to be my friend before she stole my boyfriend who is now my ex, so she would say all kinds of things to spoil my reputation."

His brows furrowed at my words as if thinking then a few seconds later, he looked apologetic, "Oh, I didn't realize that. I'm so sorry for believing that."

"It's fine, and actually, Sierra is still dating my ex boyfriend which means that she's cheating on him with you. I was afraid that you wouldn't believe me, so that's why I didn't say anything at first." I said to him, hoping that he would believe me over his lying and manipulative girlfriend.

He didn't look surprised and I wondered if she had already told him, he shrugged, "I figured that she was with some guys with how she has been acting. Besides, she's like those kind of girls that has multiple boyfriends."

"Yeah, well, good luck with your relationship." I replied to him with a small smile and turned to walk into the apartment building.

As I reached my apartment door, I pulled out my keys from my purse and opened the door. I walked in and made my way to my kitchen to look for something to eat, but I wasn't surprised to find my fridge empty except for a few eggs. I had no groceries which means that I needed to do some grocery shopping. So I closed the fridge with a sigh and decided to shower first before going out.

I made my way out of the kitchen and to my bedroom to shower and change. As soon as I was done showering and dressing in a white dress that reached mid thigh, I grabbed my purse then made my way out of the bedroom. I turned around to walk back out of my apartment. There was a grocery store on a corner close to the apartment building.

When I walked back out of the apartment building, I didn't see Henry, guess he has gone to wherever he was going in the first place. As I strolled to the grocery, I noticed that the sky was getting dark and the sun was setting. A confused frown showed on my face, did I really spend that much time in the shower?

It didn't take long before I reached the grocery store. As I looked around the aisles for what I needed for my day to day cooking, I saw a familiar face that I didn't expect to see.
