Chapter 58: Chapter 58

Sebastian's alluring dark eyes held mine as he said, "I had Beta Adam bring over some of your clothes from your place. So there they are."

He pointed at the neatly folded clothes on the end of the bed. I nodded as I turned back to him, "Thanks, but how did he get in?"

"He used your key, I hope it's not a problem." He answered me as he stepped towards his closet and walked in.

"Not at all!" I called after him and stood up from the bed to get to my clean clothes so that I could shower and change into them.

"Good." I heard his reply come from inside the closet. I grabbed my clothes and headed straight for the bathroom.

After I was showered and changed, I walked out of the bathroom and to see that Sebastian was no where to be seen. He must have been downstairs waiting for me. So I walked over to my purse from yesterday and pulled out my phone as I made my way out of the bedroom. I went to my email first as I pulled the door shut with my other hand and walked towards the stairs.

No new emails showed in my inbox except for some spam advertising an workout app. So I logged out and went over to my Whatsapp. Sophie's message was the first on my list of messages from friends and family. I tapped on it to see,

'Hey, I met Sierra, the backstabbing b*tch near ypur apartment building and she had the nerve to speak to me. She told me that you were lying about her and Cameron, you made up everything. She expected me to believe her over you when she has always been a big b*tch. So I gave her a piece of my mind and almost beat her up, but got the hint and walked away.'

I was shocked that Sierra went as far as to turn things around and say that I was lying about her and Cameron. I typed out a reply as I walked down the beautiful steps,

'She's lying and being manipulative. I really caught her and Cameron. Sebastian saw them too along with the people at Wolfey that night. Thanks for believing me and having my back.'

Her reply came back instantly, 'Don't worry, Kat. I will always have your back! Anyway, what about you and your mate? I went over to your apartment and found it empty. Did you sleep over at his? Did you two mate? *wink emoji*'

A blush rose on my cheeks and I laughed out loud just as I reached the last step and stepped onto the living room's floor. I continued walking without looking at where I was going as I typed back,

'Haha, yes, I slept over at his, but we didn't mate nor did he mark me since I wasn't ready yet. We did come close to it last night, but we didn't. Sebastian will be marking me soon, but as for mating, I don't know when I'll be ready.'

"Who are you chatting with that keeps you smiling like that?" Sebastian's velvety, deep voice took my attention to him and I raised my head to see him on one of the couches already dressed in a suit for work with two plates of French toast and turkey bacon with eggs. He looked jealous as he looked at me with his arms folded across his chest.

I walked over to him as I answered him, "It's just Sophie. We are talking about you and me, that's what has me smiling, so no need to get green eyed."

Sebastian relaxed and unfolded his arms from across his chest as an amused smile graced his lips, "I can't help, but be jealous when you're my beautiful and innocent mate."

I giggled at his words just as I reached him and sat down beside him, "Jealous guys are hot anyway, so it's fine with me."

My response made him let out a chuckle in his entrancing voice that made delightful shivers run through me. "I'm glad that you see me and all the other guys like that."

I shook my head, feeling amused, "Only you, sweetie. You're the only hot guy and werewolf that I see."

His lips tugged up into a full grin, revealing his teeth, "Sweetie? I love it. It goes well with my nickname for you, cupcake."

"Yes, it does and you are very sweet."

He shook his head, "I'm only sweet to you, cupcake, but with others, I'm ruthless. I am an Alpha Mafia Boss after all."

That made me think of just how ruthless he was, he explained to me before that they didn't kill people or torture them, but what if they were their enemies, do they do that to them? Was he sugar coating it for me so that he wouldn't scare me away? Or could it be true that he wasn't as ruthless. No matter what, I knew that he was a good person and a very kind one that has done so much for me.

So I would stand by him no matter what like I knew that he would do the same for me. I smiled at him and nodded, "I don't care, you're my mate and I will always see you as sweet."

He looked pleased with my answer then leaned forward to grab the two plates from the center table to hand one over to me. "Here, I made breakfast while you were getting ready."

My brows raised in surprise as I took the plate from him, "Whoa! You can cook?"

Instead of looking embarrassed like I thought a Mafia Boss and an Alpha would act, he looked proud as he answered me, "Yes, I can cook very well and I can make a more complex dish for you next time you're over."

I felt happy at his offer, "I would love that, Sebastian. I can cook too, so I would love to make you something too for you to judge if I am as good as you."

He looked amused at my statement, but he nodded, "Okay, but I believe that you're better than me in cooking since I only know a few dishes."

The sound of my phone pinging from a message took my attention to it in my other hand. So I checked it to see two message from Sophie,

'You need to do this ASAP before he gets too tensed, his wolf will get too tensed and try to mark you. So don't keep him waiting long, okay?'

'You there?'

I forgot to reply her when I saw Sebastian, so I typed,

'Yeah, sorry. I'm with Sebastian, I will talk to you later.'

'Sure, have fun.'

I placed my phone on my lap and picked up my fork from the plate to start eating. I felt Sebastian's hot gaze on me, so I turned to him and our eyes clashed. His alluring dark eyes stared deep into mine as I stared back into his just as fiercely. A blush rose on my cheeks and I averted my eyes as I felt the s*xual tension increase netween us. His chuckle came again in his entrancing voice.

I looked back up at him to see him stabbing a piece of eggs as he said, "Oh, Kat, you're just the mate that I have been hoping to have."

My lips stretched into a large grin as I chewed on a piece of bacon, "I'm glad that I live up to your expectations."

As soon as we were done with breakfast, we made our way down to the garage and George was already there. He smiled when he saw us walk in through the door from the apartment building, "Good morning, Sir and Miss."

"Morning, George." Sebastian answered him.

"Good morning!" I replied to him, excitedly, feeling very happy that morning.

He followed us to the car that Sebastian was leading us to and it was his silver limo. George immediately rushed forward and opened the back door for us. Sebastian climbed in and I climbed in next as I muttered to George, "Thanks."

"You're welcome, miss." He replied to me as he closed the door and walked over to the driver's door to climb in.

Sebastian wrapped an arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him until our sides were meshed together which made me smile. I snuggled closer to him too and he glanced at me, his perfect lips parting as if he was about to say something when his phone rang. He moved his gaze to his pocket as he pulled it out and checked the screen before answering the call and placing the phone against his ear.

"Adam, is everything okay?"

"What? An attack last night? Who was it?" He said in reply to Adam.

"He's going to wish that he was dead. Send our best fighters and shooters from our pack and the other packs to teach them a lesson."

"Okay, good job. Don't forget to get to the office early. If there's a lot to do at the pack house, hand it over to Jared or Tucker."

"Yeah, good. See you at the office." He said one last time before hanging up the call and placing his phone back inside his pocket.

I was so curious to know who attacked our pack last night and was about to ask, but Sebastian answered my question before I could ask it. "Beta Adam says that Cameron's pack attacked our pack last night with guns and their wolves while they were sleeping which is unfair and very cowardly."

I wasn't surprised that it was him and I sighed, "It is very cowardly of him to have them do that. He knows that he's not as strong as you, that's why he did that. I hope no one was hurt?"

He nodded, "Yeah, only a few were injured, but they healed. Thankfully, no one died, but someone died from Cameron's pack."

"I feel bad for him, he died only because of Cameron's rash decisions. So you're going to have some of your pack members teach them a lesson, right?" I asked him with wide eyes as my eyes bounced between the two of his.
