Chapter 21: Chapter 21

A blush rose to my cheeks at Sebastian's teasing and delightful shivers ran through me at the thought of him biting my neck and marking me. My wolf purred at the thought, but she didn't come to the surface. I pulled my eyes away from his and made my way to the chairs in front of his desk to sit down on one.

Adam let out a laugh at Sebastian's teasing, "I can't wait for Jared to see how whipped you are!"

Sebastian turned to him with that smile still on his face, "It doesn't matter, I love being whipped for Kat and I would like to see you laugh when you find your mate and get whipped too."

Adam shook his head with a smile touching his lips, "God, I would love that."

"I knew it! You're just jealous." Sebastian teased him with a small chuckle.

Adam chuckled to as he started for the door, "Touchè, I'll see you at lunch."

"Sure, see you then." He replied Adam just as he opened the door and walked out.

"I can see that you two are very close." I commented, bringing his attention to me.

He nodded, still grinning, "Yes, we are."

"So where's the laptop that I can work on?" I asked him as I looked around his desk where I could only see one computer which was the one that he was working on.

"Here, I'll bring it out." He answered me as he opened his large desk drawer and pulled out a laptop. He placed it on the desk and opened it then turned it towards me.

Our gaze met and I felt my cheeks heat up again along with my heart beating faster. His alluring, dark eyes kept pulling me in and I didn't want to look away. But I knew that I had to before our wolves came to the surface and we found it hard to control ourselves. So I used all my strength to pull away from his gaze and move it to the laptop.

I could hear my wolf whining, protesting against me looking away from our mate. She wanted to us to get closer as soon as possible, I wanted that too, but I had to be comfortable with him first. I switched on the laptop and started searching for entertainment news to continue with my work.

"So what else do you want to know about me, cupcake?" I heard Sebastian ask and I looked up at him to see him typing on his computer too.

I looked back at the laptop's screen at the dozen of entertainment news about celebrities on the Google search page. "Do you like big families?"

I glanced up to see an amused look on his face, "Yes, and I want to make as many pups that I can with you."

Joy rushed through me as my lips stretched into a wide smile, "I would love that."

"I have a question for you too. Have you ever been to Cameron's pack? Do you know them?" He asked me with a concerned frown on his brows.

I shook my head, "No, in all the five years that I've known him, he has always made an excuse. It was obvious that he was hiding something, but Dad said that he probably doesn't have a pack and that's what he's hiding."

"It's also obvious that he's untrustworthy."

"Exactly, but I would rather not talk about him. So do your packs have warriors?" I asked him curiously as I moved my eyes back to the laptop to continue working.

"Yes, we do, but everyone in the pack gets trained because we don't know if we're going to be attacked without any warriors around."

"That's really smart of you." I complimented as I glanced up at him to see him taking off his suit jacket. He took off his cufflinks and started rolling up his shirt sleeves, exposing his tattooed muscular arms. My eyes trailed over them, feeling my body heat up as I did.

His lips twitched up into a smile when he saw my reaction, "I know. Do you want to go on a date with me to take a step towards getting to know each other?"

He looked up at me and our eyes clashed. His alluring, dark eyes met mine and held them as I felt my tummy squeeze with butterflies. I breathed out, "Yes."

"We can get off work early today and go to a place that I love going to. I'm sure that you'll love it too." He said excitedly as he dragged his eyes away from mine and to my computer.

I felt excitement run through me too at his excitement, "Where is that?"

"Underground car racing and after that, I can take you to a secret wolf adventure." He said in a teasing voice as his smile widened.

"How mysterious of you, I'm so interested. What time do we leave?" As a writer there, I was supposed to get off work at 2:00PM or 4:00PM depending on my workload. But he probably has to be there until sundown as the CEO.

"The car racing starts at 5:00PM, so we're going to leave here at 4:30PM."

I was dressed in a white blouse and a black pencil skirt to look sophisticated like Tess said. So that probably wasn't the right outfit to go to a car race with. "That sounds good, I'll have enough time to go back home and change."

He glanced up at me, "Oh, right. You get off work at 2:00PM. So I'll pick you up from your apartment around after 4:00PM.

"Sure, I'll leave here around 2:00PM to get ready." I replied to him as I moved my eyes back to the screen of the laptop as I continued scrolling down.

It was soon lunch time and I glanced up at Sebastian who was still focused on his work. "It's lunch time, do you want to come to the cafeteria with me today too?"

He looked up from his laptop, looking surprised, "I had no idea that it's already time for lunch and yes, cupcake, I'm coming to lunch with you. I can't let other men think that they have a chance with you."

I felt confused as I said, "Everyone already knows that I'm dating you."

He nodded as he stood up, "Yes, they do, but human men can be scumbags. I've heard them talking about how beautiful you are and how they think that they can steal you away from me since we're not married yet."
