Chapter 15: Chapter 15

Sebastian glanced out the window too then looked back at me, his dark eyes piercing through mine, "Sure, let's get going."

He took his arm from around my shoulders and I stood up. My parents stood up too along with Sebastian. Mom grinned at him as she said, "It was really nice meeting you, Sebastian. I hope you'll come back soon."

His lips tugged up into a large smile as he took my hand in his and interlaced our fingers, "Yes, I definitely will and the pleasure is all mine."

Dad patted him on the back with a smile on his lips, "We are really so happy that you're the one that turned out to be Kat's mate."

His smile turned into a grin as his dark eyes twinkled with love and happiness, "I'm very happy that I'm her mate too."

I grinned too, feeling very happy that he was the one for me. I looked between Polly and Penny who were laying down on opposite couches as they watched the TV. "Polly, Penny, Seb and I leaving for today."

My words took their attention away from the TV and to us. They both jumped up and ran to us on their little legs, Polly shook her head vigorously as she squeezed her face, "Don't leave, Kitty Kat. You just came."

Penny nodded her head to agree with her twin, "And don't take Seb away too! I like him, he's so funny."

I couldn't help, but giggle at their cuteness, Sebastian chuckled too in his velvety, deep voice. He patted both of their heads as he said, "Don't worry, Polly and Penny. Your sister and I will be back soon."

Polly jutted out her the pinky of her right hand as she pouted, "Do you pinky promise?"

He grinned, nodding as he extended his pinky too and placed it against hers, "Yeah, pinky promise."

Penny also extended her pinky towards Sebastian, "Me too, pinky promise?"

He took his pinky away from Polly's and placed it against Penny's. "Pinky promise."

"Seeing how great you are with them makes me think that you're going to be a great dad." I commented as I watched him take his pinky finger away from Penny's.

Mom and Dad nodded in agreement to my statement while he turned to me with a confident smile, "I know that I'll definitely be a great dad."

"Wow, you're so confident." I said, innocently as I observed him.

He nodded, his lips tugging up into a smirk, "That's why I'm a true blood Alpha, cupcake."

I couldn't help, but giggle at how he was acting. He turned to my parents who were watching us with wide smiles on their faces. "We'll get going now, thanks for the warm welcome, mom and dad."

Mom nodded at him, "You're always welcome, Sebastian."

"Just as she said, we'll see you on another day." Dad added.

"Bye, mom, dad, Polly and Penny. Tell Vanessa to call me later." I said as I waved at them.

"Bye bye, Kitty Kat and Seb!" Polly and Penny said at the same time with large grins.

Dad nodded, "Sure, we'll let her know."

Mom waved too, "Bye."

"Bye." Sebastian said that the twins as he grinned back at them.

He took my hand again in his hand and we walked out of the living room. We made our way down the hallway and towards the door. Just as we walked out and I pulled the door closed, Sebastian's phone started ringing in his pocket. He pulled it out and answered it just before he placed it against his ear. "Adam."

I realized that I have heard him mention this name before when he told his chauffeur to hitch a ride with him. I wondered who that could be and if he was also a werewolf. After a pause, Sebastian's face turned into a frown as he replied to Adam, "Store them all in the secret room, we can't let anyone get a hold of them."

There was that word again, 'secret'. That made me curious about what was going on, so even though I knew evesdropping was bad, I was too curious not to. I used my werewolf hearing to hear what the other person, 'Adam' was saying to Sebastian. "Yes, Alpha. What about the bullets? Should I pick them all in there?"

"Yeah, all of them." Sebastian replied him and glanced at me as if knowing that I could hear Adam's words.

I suddenly felt a bit scared and worried hearing them talking about bullets. If there were bullets then there have to be guns, right? But why would a pack of werewolves need guns? Sebastian hung up his call and placed his phone back in his pocket. He sighed when he saw the expression on my face.

"You're probably wondering why we have guns, right?"

I nodded, "Yeah and bullets."

"It's for protecting the pack, I will explain more once you meet the pack, okay?"

"Okay." I answered him, quietly.

A small smile touched his lips as he tugged me forward with the hand that he was holding, "Now, let's go meet mom and Riley. I promise that you'll love them."

"I'm sure I will too."

We made our way to his Lamborghini and he was about to open the passenger door for me, but I opened it before he did. I let go of his hand and climbed in as he walked around the car to the driver's side to get in. I thought back to his meeting with my parents and I thought that it was weird how they didn't comment on his tattoos. Maybe it was because he was a werewolf and most werewolves like tattoos.

"So who's Adam?" I asked him as soon as he climbed into the car and pulled the door shut.

He raised his brows in surprise as he started the car, "That's my Beta and one of my assistants. You saw him earlier in the morning."

I felt confused and I was sure it showed on my face, "But all your assistants looked human to me."

"Yes, that's because Adam can mask his werewolf scent and aura so that he would seem human. That gives our pack an advantage over any werewolf that might plot against us."

I felt amazed at the talent, "Wow, so other werewolves might think that he's human and let their guards down."

He glanced over at me briefly with his alluring, dark eyes before looking back at the road, "Exactly."

"It seemed like you and Cameron knew each other back at the cafeteria. How did you know him and why do you hate each other so much?" I asked him, curiously.
