They are move back a little surprised at her outburst, her father move closer to her and held her hand slowly
“Vienna am so sorry about what I did, I have no excuse but am really sorry I was greed but now have learned my mistake and it wont happen ever again” he apologized but Vienna pulled away from him
“sorry? Are you sorry because of what you did or because you lied to me or because you took my feelings as a joke and wanted to use it for your own selfish interest? What if I never get to find out about it then I will continue to blame him and you all would never tell me anything. I can forgive and forget about mum and Vanessa but you are different, you did it on purpose” she stressed.
“sister I know you are angry but you should probably calm down” Vanessa chipped in to ease the situation. Miner and Victoria’s face turned ugly, seeing the awkward situation Alan pull Vienna away from there and pull her towards himself.
“sorry guys I will have a word with her” Alan said and drag Vienna away to another part of the house.
He pull her to himself and touch her head affectionately while Vienna look away in anger
“I know you are very angry with your dad right now and what he did is really bad but he already apologized and I forgive him and also am sure he didn’t meant to hurt you plus you’ve been wanting to see him and here he is now right before you”
“you forgave him? Really? Then I guess apart from running the business then you are really dumb. You are not offended by anything” Vienna said calming down.
“its not like that but maybe because I have seen a lot of things like this and even my family do things worse than this so I don’t get offended anymore” he replied.
“so you don’t get offended by anything at all including me?”
“yeah… but except from one thing, you leaving me again” he answered and Vienna smiled and hug him
“I don’t know about anything but I will never leave you not now not forever and thank you so much about my dad although I cant forgive him totally yet”
“I know, so now how about we go back to them seems like they have something to discuss with you” he said and held her hand as he led her back to the living room
“wait a minute, I thought about this once before and I cant get how exactly we get engaged to each other, my family is very far apart from yours and there is no link between us except we went to the same school” Vienna asked.
“em.. I think maybe its fate you know” he replied and pull her out fast to avoid any further questions.
They got back and her family were sitting down and waiting for them
“the food are getting cold so I want to know if I should serve them now or not” nanny called out to them from the kitchen
“yeah you should serve it now we will be at the dinning soon” Vienna answered and they all stood up on seeing them
“lets go eat something first, am famished” Vienna said and turn towards the dinning and everyone followed her a little while after and they all settle down to eat and everyone ate in silence and then went back to the living room to talk
“Vienna I know you are still angry with your dad and so are we but we want to inform you about a decision we made for ourselves” her mother start and paused a moment before she continue
“when we got home yesterday, we met him waiting for us there and at midnight today we had a talk and we decide what to do next after everything is really okay. Although its a decision made in an hurry but we really think its the best. We are moving fully to live at the countryside forever” Vienna was taken aback by their decision and so is Vanessa and Nisan but Alan held the same facial expression
“you two decide to move to the countryside just like that without asking me first? What kind of an irresponsible decision is that?” Vanessa yelled at them pissed off
“mum, dad why is that? Is something wrong?” Vienna also asked
“nothing is wrong actually but we just want a quiet life at the countryside and then just live there without worrying about the busy city life and also Vanessa is in school now and you are getting married very soon…” Miner started but Vienna interrupted
“am not getting married soon and also I think you both need to calm down before making any decisions” she said and they were interrupted by Alan’s ringing tone.
He excuse himself from them and went in to pick the call then came back after five minutes with a troubled face
“who is that? Is something wrong?” Vienna lean closer and whispered to him. Alan smiled at her and pat her head ignoring her question
“we will leave you then and see you some other time if you have something to attend to” Miner said and stood up with his wife and Vanessa then made to leave but Vienna stopped them and walk over to her father then hugged him
“Dad whatever decision you make I will support you just take care of yourself and mom” she said and separate from him. Miner smiled and hug her again and her mother and Vanessa also joined them, after the brief family reunion they turn to finally leave
“Nisan what are you waiting for? Lets go” Vanessa urge him
“you guys go ahead first I have something to discuss with Vienna” he replied and they all left
“so what is it you want to discuss with me?” Vienna after they left
“the thing is, I think I might have to leave for a while. My brother talked to me yesterday and it seems they want me to come home for some reason and I think I might have to go this time”
“what home? They sent you away themselves and now they want you back?” Vienna replied annoyed
“Actually there is something I did and I didn’t tell you. When we needed money for mom’s surgery, I went to meet my brother for help and met with Alan and it turned out that they know each other and when I asked my brother he didn’t want to help but then Alan said he will…”
“i don’t get what you are saying? You met with Alan and he said he will help?” Vienna asked and turned towards Alan sitting at a distance from them
“yes, although I don’t know that he planned to help this way but I guess its all turn out for the better now” he answered and Vienna turned to Alan again with a weird smile while Alan tried to avoid her eyes and walk away
“so have you told Vanessa about it, am sure she wont take it the good way”
“I haven't been able to because I don’t think I will be there for long, we cant seems to get along so there is no need to tell her this is just to inform you” he answered and then Vienna chat with him for a little while before he left and she went back upstairs to meet Alan
