She walked to him and saw him reading some file and also talking to Kellie through a video call, Vienna cleared her throat to announce her presence to him and Alan turned away from his laptop on seeing her

“why don’t you do one thing at a time and not stress your eyes” she said and walk closer to him then Alan close the file with him

“its just some information I need and also these things are important” he replied and bade kellie bye before turning off his laptop

“so you are done with him, its took a longer time than I thought”

“why? Were you jealous because I was alone with another man for a long time” she said to tease him

“what do you mean by jealous, he is not someone I will be jealous of” he replied sulking.

Vienna saw his reaction and smile more then she held him from the back and hug him tight

“really, since you are not jealous then maybe when I restart school then I should get about two or more guy friend” she said and Alan mood change immediately then he turn back swiftly

“don’t you dare” he said sternly and Vienna burst in to laughter

“I was just joking with you but you are surely jealous aren't you? And also why does it look like everything that happened from when I met you again till now is all planned” she said but Alan turn away from her again to avoid the question and change the topic

“I have something to tell you and its kinda serious” he said instead

“what can be more serious that the question you’ve been trying to avoid and not answer me”

“am serious, I got news that Karen is on the loose, he escape from jail through someone’s help and now both he and Benita are on the loose” he said and Vienna start to freak out

“calm down no need to freak out, everything is under control but am telling you just to be sure and I promise to get them back to jail” he reassured her but Vienna was still not calm

“how did that happened and also I think we shouldn't relent until we get the both of them” she said restlessly

“okay calm down, we need to go meet grandfather in two days time, he will be getting discharged and he wants the both of us there with him” he informed her and she calm down a bit after hearing that and Alan manage to change the topic.

After two days, Alan went back to the company to take care of things alongside with his father while his grandfather had to stay in the hospital for a couple of weeks more after he suffered another attack.

Vienna went to visit him and also start to reapply for school and with Alan’s help it was rather easy and she also decide to change her course of study to business management to be able to help Alan because of his sight although Joel already gave him an eye drop to apply to help heal his eyes but Vienna still feels worried.

Kellie and Joel are also back from their short vacation and Nisan is still with his family and there is no news about him.

Vienna went to her former school and was just coming back after confirming that she can come back to school soon when she got a call from Vanessa and went over to where she is to meet her, She arrive at the cafe Vanessa said she is and entered then she saw her at a corner and went up to her

“you sound terrible on the phone, did something happened in school or you failed another course?” she asked. Vanessa raise her head and she looked like she is been crying

“Oh my God! What happened with you? Are you alright?” she asked shocked to see her like that

“Vienna… Nisan is not coming back” she said and start to sob

“what do you mean he’s not coming back? do you speak with him on the phone?” she asked and she shook her head to answer yes.

“after all these days, I finally manage to get through to him and he told me his father and brother called him back and wants him to study abroad so he had no choice and had to leave without telling me” she explained and Vienna sigh heavily.

She had suspected that something like that might have happened since even Alan said he cant seems to see his brother also so they probably sent him away, she just hope he is fine wherever they sent him.

“I know you like him and you are hurt but you look like a mess right now and I don’t think he will be gone for so long, he will probably come back soon, alright?” she said not sure herself

“he is going to be gone for three years, three good years. Am not going to wait for him, am going to move on right away” she yelled sadly. Vienna pat her back not knowing how to comfort her.

“you left and continue to live with Alan even though you are not married yet and mum and dad also left and now him, all of you left me alone” she said again and cried more

“am sorry about that but why don’t you go stay with mum and dad for a little while and relax” she suggested but Vanessa rejected vigorously

“I don’t even want to think about staying with them for hours, maybe I should also go live with a guy like you are”

“don’t even think about it, you cant just go live with any guy and also before you called, I was about to go meet grandfather, He is getting discharged today and I have to go so maybe you should follow me and clean up your face you look horrible” she said and stood up then dragged Vanessa up also and pull her out then she drove her back to her hostel and then they head out together and soon arrived at the hospital then went in.
