After trying to contact Alan for three days now, Vienna stop trying and also try to get her mind off thinking about it. Maybe he is just busy with work and there is actually nothing wrong but the more she try to calm herself the more she felt that something is not right also coupled with what she just learn from Vanessa and her mother, she feels very guilty towards him and wanted to tell him these things but there is no way to and she miss him more. She also sent Nisan to check at their house to see if he might be at home but the door was shut. She sat down at the dinning trying to finish her lunch when Vanessa rush over to her with Nisan following after her.
“Vienna what on earth is going on? Did Alan contact you?” Vanessa asked and place her phone in front of her.
“what is it?” she asked showing no interest at all
“check for yourself” Vanessa said and Vienna took her phone to read and she was totally shocked at what she saw
“why on earth will Karen will made the new chairman when the old one is not dead?” Nisan asked confused while Vienna fix her eyes on the other news there
“Vienna, were you aware that Alan has lost his sight completely? Is that why you came here?” Vanessa also asked her curiously. Vienna ignore their questions and stood up suddenly, took her phone then went to her room and lock the door. She dialed Alan’s number fleetly but there is no respond as usual and she tried Kellie number but couldn’t get to it then she decided to call Sasha to see if she could get something from her. Sasha pick the call on the third ring and yelled at her immediately after picking up.
“where the hell are you and where is my son?” she yelled
“Mrs Clinton, I really have no idea and i just saw the news and am quite confused about what happened” Vienna replied
“how can you also say you don’t know his where about? What on earth is going on?” she said almost crying.
“you know what, wherever you are just come here right now” Sasha said after a while and cut the call without waiting for her to reply. Vienna was confused as to whether she should listen to Alan or go meet her but on another thought she decide to go and enter the bathroom quickly to take a quite bath before leaving. As she enter the bathroom, she open the shower and remember something important.
“About the box Vanessa said she gave to Alan, she said it has a lock but the one she bought doesn't and she also remember that she threw the box away” she thought and then realize what it could be. Maybe Vanessa gave Alan the wrong one. She quick off the shower and rush out with a towel around her then ran off to Vanessa’s room and burst in on Vanessa and Nisan kissing.
“hey, what do you thinking you are doing?” Vanessa said startled.
“the box you gave to Alan, where did you find it?” she asked not minding them.
“what box? Oh that, I found it somewhere in the house why?”
“really? Thank you thank yo so much” she said and ran out again
“what is wrong with her?” the both said at the same time and shrugged. Vienna ran back to her room and took her phone to text Alan about her new discovery.
“Alan, about the box with you that box contain the evidence that my dad has with him the code to open it is 0101” she text and also text Kellie the same thing.
“but what if he already throw it out?” she said thinking of another possibility but quickly discard the thought and quick put on something okay and rush out to meet Sasha.
When she got to her, Sasha asked her to enter the car and drive straight to the company where Karen is supposedly having a press conference.
“Mrs Clinton, what about grandfather, why is he not doing anything at all” she asked
“he is at the hospital. He receive some kind of news on the phone and collapsed, he is still unconscious” she answered.
“then what are we going to do now?”
“we are going to try everything to stop them and since his dad doesn't have any say then you will have to step in and also I will transfer my shares to you and also you have equal right on Alan’s so we are going to use that to stop them” she answered again and both of them remain silent till they got to the company and hurried inside.
After Karen manage to win the board of directors over, he sat down to start the press conference while someone come over to whisper to him about Vienna’s arrival at the company. He smiled happily, he has been looking for her after able been able to trace her for three days now but she came herself to him.
“The reason why I called everyone here today is to inform you all that whatever you heard about Alan Clinton is true. After the accident he has not been able to use his sight properly and now he is totally blind so to secure the company, we have to appoint a new chairman with all the directors agreement to stabilize the company to prevent it from getting affected by this” he said and the reporter start to raise questions.
“so where is Mr Clinton right now and where is his fiancee”
“we heard he has a fiancee, where is she? Why is she not present here?” another reporter asked
“how is this going to affect the ongoing project of the company” another asked and just then, Vienna appear together with Sasha and some of the reporters ran towards her to ask questions.
“you are Mr Clinton’s fiancee aren't you? What do you say about this information?”
“are you also aware about the change in power? The Clinton’s empire is known to pass down the power to their children, is there going to be a change now? Mrs Clinton what do you have to say and what is your husband take on this….” the reporters questioned them nonstop.
