When grandfather announced Vienna’s engagement to Alan,Vanessa tried looking for her but couldn’t find her. Just before the announcement was made someone came to call her and she stood up from their midst and went away. Nisan try to calm her down but she seems furious.

“why exactly are you angry? She already told us she doesn't know about today’s event” Nisan said.

“are you a kid? Who doesn't know about her engagement? And also why are you so calm shouldn't you be angry also?”

“I know your fear is that she will come to like him again and wont want to leave but you should also believe her. if she really wants to do that she will surely inform you or I” he said and pat her head.

“why don’t you text her and ask her about it first?’ he suggested.

“you always support her and see me as the bad person” she said and bought out her phone from the purse to text her.

….Karen was with Benita talking to his foster father, Sanchez when the news was announced. Sanchez was shocked and left them to go discuss with his father.

“Karen what is going on? Do you know anything about this beforehand? What will happen to all our plans now?” Benita ask anxiously and held his hand tightly. Karen shake her hand off roughly. Benita was taken aback

“Karen what is wrong with you?’ she yelled at him

“am sorry I didn’t mean that excuse me I need to deal with something” he said and walk away from her. Benita stare at his back with doubt in her mind. Could it be that the news came as a shock to him or what? She thought then signal to one of the waiter and whispered something to his ear then hand over some money to him.

After following the person who came to call her, she was asked to sit and some set of people start to retouch her makeup and also made her wear another dress. Vienna sat down calmly because they told her it was on Mr Clinton’s order but was still anxious as to the reason why. Although what she wore was not really expensive but it still okay for the occasion they continue with her make up and after a while she heard a peep on her phone and opened it to check it was a message from Vanessa.

“traitor, why didn’t you tell us that its your engagement today?” the message read. She stare at the words for a few more seconds to understand the content well.

“what engagement?” she wonder and wanted to call her back but they stopped her and she impatiently waited till they finish then Kellie came to meet her.

“miss Vienna, Mr Alan asked me to convey this to you that whatever has happened and is going to happen he will explain them later but you should please act along and get ready” she told her.

“what exactly is happening?” she asked.

“actually grandfather planned for an engagement ceremony between the both of you without anyone’s knowledge and there is no way to deal with it than to play along”

“engagement ceremony!” she exclaimed loudly then realized that people around them might catch on and calm down.

“where is he I want to speak with him” she demanded.

‘Mr Alan is also getting dressed you will see each other soon” she replied and left. Vienna quickly send a message back to Vanessa and told her she knows nothing about it at all. After few minutes they were done with her make up Vienna look in the mirror and was amazed by what she saw. Its been a long time since she dressed up like this, she smiled at her figure in the mirror happily.

“miss Vienna its time for you to go on stage” someone informed her and lead her out to the back stage. Vienna looked at everyone down waiting for her to come out and begin to feel nervous and sick in the stomach. Although she has always dreamed about something like this but this is not how she wanted it. Her parents are not there and its just a fake engagement she will have to leave after three months or maybe earlier. She thought and think back to Alan’s word the night before. Alan came with Kellie and join her there while Kellie left. Vienna waited for him to say something but he did not. She wonder why he doesn't try to explain things to her most times and prefer to send Kellie. They were called to come out and Alan raise his hand to hold her, Vienna bought her hand closer and link hands with him then they walk out together as everyone clap and cheer them. They sat down at the front and Alan’s father bought forward a ring box and hand it over to Alan.

“your grandfather said you must exchange rings together” he whispered to him and withdraw from them. Vienna look at him to see if he will really put the ring on for her and he opened the box slowly and bought out one of the ring then stretch out his hand to her. Vienna bought her hands forward and place it in his hand then he put on the ring for her. Vienna screamed with joy inside her but stopped herself quickly took the other one and wore it on him also even though its not real but still she felt very happy and accomplished as she smiled like a young girl in love admiring the ring on her finger.
