Aviena's POV

My eyes immediately widened as I looked back at the speaker. Big Sister Rose let out a wide grin on me when she saw the shock in my eyes.

"What are you doing here?" I asked inevitably, staring at her. She's wearing a lab gown while her hair is back black now. She just let out a wide grin before approaching. I am not moving in my position. I was just looking at her. I couldn’t help the sadness in my eyes.

"Don't you fucking dare look at me as if you pity me!" She shouted loudly as she looked at me. I couldn’t help but cry as I looked at her. I just don't know what to feel anymore.

“What happened to you, Big Sister? How… How did you end up like this?” I tried to walk in her side but she was the one who backed away now. After a while, she stopped while looking at me angrily.

“What do you fucking think? I became a fucking prostitute to fucking survive but what do you think happened? I wasn't able to fucking go out. There's no end to it! They won't let me go!” she shouted loudly as if she was losing her mind.

"They didn't let me go!" She even laughed as if she wanted to get away now.

"Ask me why did I do that," she said, pushing me with the gun. She was just pushing my forehead.

“Why do you think? Because of you! I was supposed to get River from you! Or we should just remain living together! I was so fucking scared that I’ll be left alone again! I was so scared that you’ll just end up just like our parents and guess what? You really became like that! You fucking forget about me and live with the man of your dream! You fucking choose someone that will bring you to the top! While me? Me… They fucking step on me… They fucking treat me like trash… garbage that shouldn’t be alive, to begin with… I was worthless… I never deserve to be loved…” she said. She didn’t realize that she was already crying and I was too.

“I fucking want to get away from it… I just want someone to love me like River is doing right now… How can you be so lucky while I’m not?” she asked before she cried so hard again.

I always felt that something isn't right about her. How she threatens our lives. It's not always consistent. There seems to be something wrong but I was just always scared that she’ll really do it.

"I hope you just didn't come back… They might fucking do something to you… To Marieta… To our family…" she said as if losing her mind. I couldn't help but stare at her, especially when she spoke things I didn't understand. She just grabbed her head.

“Big Sister…” I called her before approaching her.

I slowly hugged her but she just ended up laughing.

“I’ll kill you now so you won’t taste that hell…” she said while not being her usual self. I just stopped when I felt the knife she was holding. She will stab me in the side but I was able to protect myself with my hands.

"Big Sister!" I shouted at her because she really didn't seem to be on her own anymore. She stopped when she looked at me. I could see the tears in her eyes before she came to bed and that's where she tried to stab the knife many times before she screamed. She was just crying while stabbing the bed.

The door opened just in time when I hugged her to stop her for doing that. Loud shouts from the familiar voice were heard.

“Tonta! You can't even fucking hold one girl? ” Cijan's loud shout was obviously furious. I couldn’t stop biting my lips especially when River came inside as well. My lips quivered when I saw he was bloody.

My eyes widened when I saw River’s angry eyes.

“Tangina!” He couldn't even stop cursing. They also immediately get Big Sister while she was just crying and kept on shouting.

"You don't have to fucking do that," I said when a guard tried to drag Big Sister even though she wasn't fighting.

River holds me when they finally let my sister out.

“What did she do to you? Are you okay?” he asked, trying to look at every angle of your face and body. I was just looking at him.

“Go fucking check yourself, River. You are bleeding! ” I couldn't keep calm when I saw him.

“I’m completely fine. Fuck. ” He was even shocked when he saw my hand.

“What the heck, River?! You're wetting in blood! Do you expect me to believe you're fine? If you're scared that something will happen to me. Don't even worry! Go fucking check yourself!” I shouted at him, pulling him out of the hospital room. There were a lot of guards there so I couldn’t help but wonder how Big Sister got inside. I just sighed because somehow I was able to talk to him too.

Only then did I calm down when a doctor came to see River. I just went back to where I was standing while my mind was confused. Big sister's not in her right mind while those fucking predators are living their life without even fucking being guilty about what they have done to my sister.

I don't know what happened to their operation. I don't know if they got those suspects. I do not know.

"Did you get them?" I asked Cijan when he entered to pass my habit. They were conquering the whole hospital right now. The guards are all around the outside now. I also couldn’t help but close my eyes while looking around.

“We haven't, Ma'am,” he said. River was alright except for his wounds.

He also came out immediately after the treatment.

“Let’s talk now, Cijan. Rest for a while, Wife,” he said to me but I shook my head.

“No. I'll stay here too,” I seriously said.

“And you’re not completely fine too. You have experienced even worse than me,” I said because my wound was treated for a while while he was also a few hours away.

“Just sleep. You look so tired… Let's talk tomorrow, Cijan. ” He had no choice because I won't really go away until he does what I want.

Cijan just laughed softly so River raised an eyebrow at him. Cijan also quickly returned to a serious face.

We went back to the hospital room where we were staying. We both just stopped when we saw Ocean calling. I immediately felt nervous in fear that something bad had happened to Camillia.

“Hello, Ocean? What happened? Where's Camillia? Is my daughter fine? Can I see Camillia?” I keep asking because of the nervousness I'm feeling right now.

“She is fine, Aviena. Calm the fuck down. She's just asking how's your trip. And I'm just looking to see if you and Big Brother are still alive. I've been contacting you for a while. No one answers you. Isn't the reply trendy now? ” she asked as if worried about us as well. I can't help but smile slightly. Somehow I was complacent that Camillia was okay with Ocean's house.

“We’re fine. We're still alive— ”

“What is life? Don't tell me you fucking almost die?! Omg!” She was hysterical so I couldn't stop shaking my head before she calmed down.

“We’re fine. Let me see Camillia. Is she sleeping now?” I asked Ocean. She also showed Camillia who was also sound asleep.

“I can't contact you earlier. She almost cried but Seren just tried to get her attention,” she told me so I just sighed. We'll get her soon. We will only heal the wounds because she will surely make you wonder why her father and I have bruises. We'll just stay for a while until we're able to hide the wounds as well.

River and I stay in one bed. It was different from the room we were staying in earlier. We also moved because some of the equipment there was worn out.

River hugged me tightly, and so did I. I find comfort in his arms.

"I love you, Aviena… Let me do the right to protect you and our daughter," he whispered softly to me. I also just smiled slightly there.

"I'm sorry…" I said weakly. I still can't help but feel guilty for everything I did to him. He just gave me a big hug because of that. I was able to eat drowsily in spite of everything just because of the tight hug that came from him.

The next morning, he was no longer beside me and was talking to Cijan.

“We can't find any information about their big boss. They won't tell anything and just the mere fact that you speak their boss names, they are shaking with fear, ”said Cijan. Explaining things with River.

"I thought you didn't get them?" I asked Cijan so they could almost jump in River's panic.

“We did… Those people who were in the warehouse but their bosses are still out of reach right now. They're still loose,” River said so I couldn't help but clench my fist.

I also don’t know what the reaction should be. I'm just really mad right now. Those people behind who did that to my Sister are still living so free. I don't want to ask for more things from River because I also know that he's doing his best. For me and for my sister. I'm just closing my eyes too. He's doing things much faster than anyone else. I know how he put some effort into this.

“What about my sister? Where is she now?” I asked River who looked at me.

"She's in rehab right now," he said, answering my question.

“Can I see her?” I asked him.

“I don’t think it’s a good idea now. She's been asking for you since last night. She keeps on saying your name as if she's crazy. ” I glared at Cijan who couldn't help but say that. He just kept his mouth shut.

“I’ll visit her, River…” I said to River who just look at me. He sighed there before nodding.

"We'll visit her after the week, Aviena…" he said as if he just agreed because we also don't want to argue. I just glared at him but he ended up shrugging with that.

For a week, I did that… I tried to rest myself. River was there that time. The two of us are often just together. He's also trying his best to understand me.

And now, we're going to see our daughter. I can’t help the excitement I feel.

"Mom!" Camillia happily ran over to me. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw her. This… Everything is worth it now that I see her smile…
