Aviena's POV

After we spend my time with our daughter, we also decided to go to rehab. Camillia doesn't want us to go, we said that we were just going to visit someone. Starting earlier she just keep on clinging to us. Only then did she agree when Seren said that they were going to take a nap because they still have plans to watch their favorite Disney princess later.

"Are you sure you wanted to meet your sister?" River asked so I immediately nodded. He doesn't have a choice but takes me there. We also have bodyguards who are just scattered around. Even the bachelors have sent a bunch as well.

When we arrived at the rehab, Big Sister was immediately called. Big Sister came out with some who was holding her.

She's wearing a uniform. I couldn't stop the tears from dripping from my eyes when I finally examined her. She looks so thin. She's just looking downwards.

"Big Sister…" I weakly said. She immediately looked at me because of that. Her eyes immediately widened before she immediately approached me. River's guards blocked him but I just shook my head and smiled slightly.

“It’s fine. She won't do anything,” I said so they looked at River. River just nodded because he didn't seem to have a choice in the way I looked at him.

“Aviena… Aviena… Are you okay?” she asked me as she worriedly looked at me now. I couldn't help but stare at her. She calms down when she looks at me. She also slowly sat up before facing me. I can see her eyes.

"We're going to put those people who did this behind bars, Big Sister…" I seriously promised Big Sister while staring at her. In a week-long search about that organization, we have not obtained any information about them even though even the bachelors are already conducting an investigation.

“Don’t, Aviena… They won’t just stay still if their group got tainted… Don’t even involve yourself to this. If you really love your daughter and husband, just don't do anything… I'm fine… you should be mad at me… Don't fucking try to do anything… ” she said when she heard what I said. She looks unfine for sure much think. I was just looking at her and I also didn’t know what to say.

“No, Big Sister! I won't stop until we let them rot in fucking hell!” I couldn’t help but scream at the frustration I felt. Big Sister just looked at me before she shook her head at me.

“Just do what I say, Aviena. I'm fine. Don't make it bigger. ” Her face was serious as she looked at me. I just shook there. I don't plan on doing it at all.

"I'm completely fine… I don't care about them anymore… They will receive the punishment they deserve…" she even said but I know I won't stay silent with what I heard especially since I can see what she looks like now.

“Don’t… They play dirty… They can kill me anytime… They can kill you… Or worst Camillia… Your daughter… Just do what I say, Aviena…” She was almost pleased when she said that. I was just looking at her. I just clenched my fist because I knew I wouldn't really keep quiet either.

But no matter what we do, we can't find any information about that person who did that to Big Sister. For months after what happened, they remained unbothered. We found some information about them but it's still blurry.

Until my family found out what happened to my Big Sister. I just closed my eyes when grandma angrily approached Big Sister when she was in the Rehab but her eyes also gradually dimmed when she looked at Big Sister who was often just looking in front when I visited. She also repeatedly reminded me that I should do nothing to those people.

“How did you end up getting addicted to drugs, my granddaughter? Where did I do for you to live like that?” Grandma couldn't help but sob. Although I want to tell the full details, I don't want Grandma to know about the syndicate she belongs to. I want to tell them everything but it's not my story to tell. I also didn’t mention her attempt of hurting us. But Marieta seems like she knows about it so she treats Big Sister coldly even though she often visits her to deliver food.

We're about to leave when Marieta asks something.

"Something happened that you don't want to tell me at all, right, Big Sister?" she asked me as her eyes just remained cold.

“You know something that you don’t want to tell us again… Can’t you trust me this time? Why do you two always leave me behind? What is it?” she asked, unable to stop herself from staring into my eyes.

I just shook my head because I had no intention of saying that either. For us, no matter how big she is now, she’s still our little sister. That little sister we don't really want to carry our burden.

"If you won't tell me at all, I'll be the one who gets the information just to know about it," she said as if she was ready to find out about what happened. She just leave so I couldn't help but smile slightly as I watched her back as she continued to walk. Right… I have so many people to protect…

I was about to go into River and my room when I saw Demon Fontalejo and Vernon Montello sitting on our sofa while talking with River. They seem serious with their talk.

“You can’t just do that, River. Dangerous. They are a powerful syndicate. They are known in different countries and you wouldn't like to fight with them. Yes, Bachelors can support you but remember that they already have a family that they're protecting. We are no longer like before that we can just rush because we don't really have anything to protect but now we have one, Savellano,” Vernon told him seriously.

I feel like it’s about the Dark Society, the group behind the one who did that to Big Sister. I just bit my lips so hard because they are also really right, they already have people they're protecting. We all have one actually.

I know that it's about that because I feel that River is under a lot of pressure because I keep on talking about that group.

"But if you really do your plan, we'll just be behind you," Demon said in a serious voice. They also seem like they're already ready to go into that war.

Only then did Vernon notice me so he immediately smile. He even wave at me when he saw me.

“Good afternoon, Aviena! Long time no see! ” he said with a wide grin now. It was as if the seriousness on his face while talking to River and Demon had disappeared.

“I won’t touch you or anything. My girlfriend easily gets jealous,” he proudly said looking at the beautiful woman coming inside. She's wearing a bodyguard suit but she still looks so sexy with her uniform. A brunette woman with red hair. She was just looking at Vernon with a furrowed forehead.

“You still have a schedule, Mr. President,” the woman said coldly.

“Why are you even so formal, Babe? That's my asshat friends. You don't have to think about them.” He introduced his girlfriend.

"That's Aviena, River's wife," he said that he would have held his girlfriend by the waist but the girl immediately stepped aside.

“No physical touch at work, Mr. President. ” Vernon just sighed as his grip on his girlfriend hung in the air. His girlfriend looked at me before she smiles. Even the smile seems formal.

“Good morning, Ma’am. I'm Ash. You look good,” she said.

“Just call me Aviena. Thank you. You look pretty too and sexy,” I said so she even looked at her body. I blushed when I saw the redness on her face.

"Hey! What is that? Why are you blushing with Aviena? But to me, your reaction remains stoic? Holy cow! I really need to keep you away from women!” I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Vernon being bothered.

“How can’t I? I'm getting praise from a pretty girl,” Ms. Bodyguard whispered before pouting. I can't help but smile at how cute she is.

Vernon immediately pulled her closer to him.

“We need to go. Just call me if you need something, River. Your wife is dangerous, maybe later my girlfriend will suddenly change her mind,” Vernon said before grabbing Ash by the wrist and pulling her away. I couldn’t help but laugh while looking at them.

“I’ll go now too. My wife is already waiting for me,” Demon said so River nodded.

River quickly grabbed my waist. He already has a smile on his face now. There was no serious face as if they hadn’t talked seriously earlier.

"Where's Camillia?" I asked him.

“In her room now. She's tired of playing with Seren and Klein earlier. She's already sleeping,” he said so I just nodded there.

Security is still so tight here at home that even some bodyguards pretend to be gardeners, and pool boys and some are even trying to act like a maid. We tried to act in front of our daughter like everything is just fine too.

That's what often happens, especially when those who did that to Big Sister have not been imprisoned.

I was already ready to go to rehab again when I saw how some of the bodyguards move. It seemed like they were all ready to be killed in the war so I couldn't help but be confused there.

"What happened?" I asked a guard who didn't want to speak but I kept on asking.

"The Dark Society is in front of the Bachelor hideout right now, Ma'am," he said so I couldn't help how my eyes widen. The bachelor hideout, I wasn't able to enter it at all because they are often the only ones entering there. But as of now, they're inviting their wives to go there. River also did the same but I was just too busy to even go.

I couldn’t help but be nervous when I got into a guard’s car even though he had no intention of taking me with him. There were only a few who left and the security of the house was still really tight. Camillia is in Ocean's house. Ocean's house is full of children. I also actually send her there because I plan to go to rehab today.

"Where are you fucking driving?" I asked the driver without looking like he had no intention of taking me to the hideout.

“Sir River said that you can’t go to the hideout right now, Ma’am. I'll drop you at Ma'am Ocean's house,” he told me. I know that I won't be able to do anything but I just keep on thinking about River so when I got off I immediately took a taxi.

Some of River's guards cursed. I just said to Manong to speed up until we got to the hideout. I stopped when I saw three fancy cars in front of the hideout while two men were in front of them. One was wearing glasses, the other had an exposed grin on his lips.

My lips parted when I saw fifteen men lying on the road. They have so many wounds.

The Bachelor is also on the opposite side of the two unfamiliar people. All of them have different facial expressions. Some look like they're also amusing, some are smirking, frowning, can't even read any expression and now some are laughing.

"Do you think you can just say you're sorry by gifting these assholes to us?" River asked with no expression on his face.

“Hmm, what my underling have done is my fault. Hmm, do you think this is not fine yet? ” the man who looked like a joker— but with ash-gray hair– asked with a smile.

"Should I cut their head instead?" he asked as if the beating of his men were still insufficient.

I couldn't stop my blood from boiling before I tried to rush to them but River's bodyguard suddenly took me.

“Are you fucking that J fucking guy? I'll fucking kill you!” I shouted so loudly that their attention went to me. The man grinned as he looked at me now.

"It seems like she really did inherit that nasty attitude she has from your family," he laughed. Murmuring some things.

“Well, sad to say but I’m not. I'm W,” he said with a smile.

"And that guy is J. All of these men are the ones who did that to your sister," he said, pointing to some men who have been beaten and tied up today. Those people who are lying in the road. The man immediately begged so W laughed. It's as if everything's funny to him right now. But the smirk on his lips gradually disappeared before he approached them.

“It seems like, you asshole didn’t learn your lessons at all. Do you think I'm kind enough to forgive?” he asked as he approached them before firing a gun at one leg.

“Oh, sorry. I hate noises. I damage my gift. I'll just give you a new one,” he said before entering his car and waving his hands to the Bachelor. The guy with an eyeglass just shakes his head before entering his car too.

I can't help but glare at those people who were lying on the road. So these are the people who did that to my sister, huh?

Before I could get close to them, River touched me.

“Damn it, Woman! You really know how to make me worried! ”
