Aviena's POV

"We will… If you ever get that deal," I promised with a smile.

“Get ready then. No one will go to work for a week,” he proudly said so I couldn't help but laugh.

With so many deals he’s getting, I can’t find a break when he's already getting ready for bed. That one is tireless. He always finds ways to have time for that happiness of his. Is it really just him, Aviena?

He also indicates that he wants a child. I also want to settle now. But while my name is still known, I still accept some projects.

Like now, I still have a lot of projects although there is still a lot of time for River and I to go out together. We're really enjoying life as it is.

"Take care!" I kissed River on the cheek as he left for his work. I still don't want him to leave because these past few days, I love staring at his face.

"Kiss me more," I said so he just laughed and kissed me on the lips. Before he left, I filled his face with many kisses.

My work is still in the afternoon and I plan to date Veron who is coming here to the house.

River also left so I was the only one left here at home. I just lay there while scrolling at my phone.

Veron also arrived early so I was able to talk with her. She just keeps on ranting about Pride. I couldn't help but laugh because I remembered what we had done in the past. She told me how embarrassed she was at what she said to Pride that night. While I was just laughing at her because I felt the same way back then.

“I said, 'Te! His things are even worse now! I really want to resign!” she said so I couldn't help but laugh at her.

I was about to speak when I saw the door open. I thought River came back so I would have greeted him immediately but I immediately furrowed my forehead when I saw that it was Big Sister.

She has a key here in our penthouse because she often says she needs it especially when I'm asleep. I just gave in to what she wanted but the thing is even if I'm not in the penthouse, she goes here. I don't know what's with her.

"Big Sister?" I asked her with a furrowed forehead.

"I thought the shoot was still at noon?" I asked her.

“Yup. That's right,” she said so I stared at her even more. She just keeps on looking around here at the penthouse.

"Then why are you here?" I asked her, wondering why she was here.

"I just passed by," she said with a shrug.

"I also plan to leave so go ahead," she said as he handed me the chips she was holding. I immediately smiled before thanking her.

“You are really the best, Te! Thank you!” She waved before leaving so I took the chips and would have opened them when I noticed Veron's gaze.

"What's with that look?" I asked, still frowning at her.

"I just don't feel so right about your sister," she said to me so I furrowed my forehead at her.

“Last week when I clean your home, she also come here. You have a shoot while Sir River was still in his study room. Your sister give him food,” Veron said.

"Maybe she's also concerned about River too, she treats him like her younger brother and she also told me that she left something here in the penthouse so she went here," I said.

“Really? What did she leave here, Ma'am? ” Veron asked with narrowed eyes.

"I don't remember her looking for something, except for Sir River," Veron said. I don't want to think things about Big Sister but sometimes Veron was right. These past few months, it has become increasingly common that she is saying that. And she also often visits here in the condo. Maybe she's just worried about me too, especially during the last few months I've been undergoing therapy. I don't know. Sometimes Big Sister's actions are so hard to read because they really are.

I just shrugged. I don't want to stress myself that much. I don't really want to think about a lot of things.

I was about to eat again when I felt nauseous and vomiting. I immediately ran to the bathroom here in the condo before vomiting.

"Hey! Omg! Maybe your sister is poisoning you!” Veron shouted so my head hurt even more because of her. She keeps on saying things that I don't know if I should be happy or if I should beat him because of that.

“Stop it, Veron. I'm fine,” I said, breathing properly again now.

I just feel the pain in my head.

"What happened?" Veron asked confused.

“I am fine. It just feels a little worse. But I’m fine now.” I laughed before looking at her panicking because of me. I just laughed before going to bed again.

"I really want to go fishing these days," I told her. If I could just run away from work I would have done it but I can't. It's a pity to rest from work as my name is known as of now.

"Tomorrow, let's have adate!" She smiled at me before she handed me a drink. I could do nothing but sit and sip there.

“Really? You'll come with me? You'll treat me?” I asked her so she immediately turned her gaze at me.

"Which of us is the boss here, Ma'am?" she asked so I just laughed.

"Let's just go on Friday, I don't have work at that time," I said so she nodded immediately. River actually has work at that time because that one is also really busy with some deals that needed to be sealed.

“Sure! I'll change my day off then,” Veron said with another smile.

WHEN I said that to River he wanted to run away from work immediately. I couldn’t help but snort as I stroked his hair.

"You can not. You have a lot of deals, it's a pity,” I said so he immediately pouted. He was just pissed because I was also really right.

“Take some photos and send it to me. Enjoy yourself too,” he said while smiling at me so I smiled broadly at him.

FRIDAY came, Veron and I were already on our trip. I was shocked to see that we had someone with us for this trip. Pride Sandoval is here and he seems like he was really planning to come with us. I couldn’t help but giggle as I stared at them.

"Guard closed, huh?" I said while teasing the two of them.

“Right. The truth is he is really deadly in love with me,” Veron said with a smile so I couldn't help but laugh. She seemed so confident when she said that. I just shake my head with her. Pride didn't deny it at all.

“What do you want to eat? I'll take your things. ” My eyes just narrowed as I stared at the two of them. Pride looks more like a maid than Veron who is like a queen making her boss obey her.

I couldn’t help but smile as I watched them both. I just shook my head before walking toward the beach. If I was given a chance, I'd really choose to stay in some places like this. It was so pretty. You can only hear the quiet place. The pounding of the waves on the shore.

I would have come closer to the wave but I felt dizzy. I couldn't help but go straight to the villa where I was staying. Veron and Pride are together in the same room so I am alone in a villa. I just vomit in the bathroom.

After a while, I felt better. I was about to go out when I saw River's calling me.

"Hey, you miss me right away?" I asked with a smile even though he couldn't really see me.

“Hmm. I wish we can spend the day together there. Are you enjoying your stay?” he asked me.

"I'll just go out," I said, still smiling.

“Your sister is here. She's asking if you're here,” he said so I stopped.

"What do you mean?" I asked, with a furrowed forehead. She knows that I'll have a vacation and that River's going to stay in our house so I can't understand now why she's at home.

I couldn’t help but frown as I also thought about what Veron had been saying to me lately. It's been a few days and Big Sister suddenly comes to our house. And sometimes when I'm in the shoot, she's been asking me to River even though she knows I'm busy shooting.

"She said that you ask her to get the script for your shoot next week," River said. My forehead furrowed even more and just shake my head. I didn't ask her that.

“I’m getting out of the penthouse now. I'll be working late this time. I want to come with you there,” he told me. I can't help but be pompous.

"I also want you here but just focus on your work, Mister."

"I love you," he said to me so the smile on my lips spontaneously curved.

"I love you." I was about to drop the call when I heard Big Sister's voice calling River.

“Hey, River, you're going now? Can I go along? Because Vena doesn't want to lend her car to me,” Big Sister's voice was soft when she said that to River. I just frowned. I always let her use what's mine so I don't get how she's saying that.

"I'll let my bodyguards drop you, Rose," River said. River is older so he doesn't really call him Big Sister.

“Can you give my phone to Big Sister, Love?” I asked River. That's what he did so when I talked to Big Sister, I couldn't help but frown.

“Oh, Vena. Are you enjoying your stay there?” she asked me.

“Do you want me to deliver food to your husband while you go out? It's too bad you don't seem to be feeding him. He's losing weight,” she said, so my forehead furrowed even more.

“There's no need for that, Big Sister. Why are you there? I told you that I'll be spending my day here in Sorsogon for a while,” I said.

“Yup. I know. That's why I'm here too. I would like to take care of your husband in your place,” she said so it was as if my stomach was turning over what she was saying. Before I could speak, she also turned off the call. I tried again to call River's phone but no one answered.

When I came out, I had a look of irritation on my face.

“What happened? Why is your face so ugly? ” Veron asked me. I just shook my head so she narrowed her eyes at me.

I tried to dial River's phone but I never had a chance to call him.

30 minutes passed when I received a call from an unknown number. I wouldn't have answered yet because maybe it's another spam number or maybe it's from fans who don't know the boundaries but with the thought that it's River, I answered the call.

“I’m sorry. My phone suddenly hangs up,” he said immediately. It's River. He probably changes his phone. I just shake my head there.

"Did Big Sister already leave?" I asked him.

“She did. I already ask one of my drivers to drive her home,” he told me so I nodded on purpose even though he couldn't see.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I can't help but think about it. I don't know why I feel that something big will happen. Damn. I don't know now.
