Chapter 70: Chapter 70

Chapter 71: Mr Wilson, you are so shameless and domineering!

Andrea walked into a boutique store that she had located online. She noticed they high-end luxury brands and that was the only reason why she had come this far. She was aware that a sophisticated woman like Mrs Wilson would have high taste and she was aiming to meet her standard.

She strolled around the place, her eyes peering on the shelves filled with all sorts of designer bags. Her eyes suddenly settled on a nude-color Prada square bag with faux peaks and a heart decor. As she reached forward to take it, she caught sight of a white Chanel PU leather-quilted shoulder tote bag, seizing her attention.

Andrea couldn't help but silently sigh, her thoughts turning disoriented, and she kept glancing at both frantically.

She heard someone chuckling from behind, "you seem confused. I think the white Chanel bag looks better."

Andrea slowly turned around to find an elegant middle-aged lady, with chestnut hair and emerald green eyes, smiling at her.

"You think so? The thing is I want to get it for my mother-in-law," she said with a smile. "You must be around the same age as her, I'm going with your choice," she said and picked up the white Chanel bag from the shelf.

"I'm sure she will love it. Your in-laws must be very lucky to have such a pretty and thoughtful daughter-in-law like you," the lady complimented.

Andrea's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. "Thank you, ma'am," she bowed her head a little before going over to the counter to sort out the bill.

She passed her debit card to the saleswoman to swipe, and instantly her phone beeped. She brought it out from her pocket, staring at her bank balance, which almost made her heart bleed.

Sean had insisted she used his card to get whatever she wanted, but she strongly rejected the idea. She believed the gift would not be extra special if she didn't use her money to purchase them.

Andrea swiped up her screen, and her heart leaped, finding a series of unanswered calls from Sean. "He is so clingy!" she muttered under her breath.

She returned his call, and it got connected immediately. "Why are you calling me times without number?" she asked as she rolled her eyes.

"Andrea May Graham, you told me you would be back by 4 pm, and now it's five minutes past 4. What's going on?" His tone was laced with a bit of frustration. In the background, she could vividly hear the cries of both Ruby and Pearl, and she began to wonder if he couldn't look after them properly for an hour.

The corners of her mouth twitched slightly and she became speechless momentarily. "What is going on there? Why are my angels crying?"

"Angels? For heaven's sake, what did you feed Pearl? Her diaper is loaded with poop. I don't get why Ruby is crying. Why did you even let the nanny go on leave in the first place?" Sean said furiously.

Andrea pursed her lips in annoyance. "Hang on a bit. I'll be home soon," she mumbled before hanging up.

"What a good-for-nothing!" She couldn't help but visualize Sean in a helpless state while watching the babies cry.

She chuckled at the thought of it. She grabbed her handbag from the counter. Andrea got out of the store and hurriedly walked towards the Maybach, where the driver had been patiently waiting for her.

Before she could pull the door open, someone tapped her from behind.

"Dear, you forgot this," Mrs Jones handed her a shopping bag where she had put the wristwatch she bought for Mr. Wilson a while ago.

Andrea smacked her forehead before taking the bag from her. "Oh, thank you so much, ma'am. It slipped my mind," she beamed at her.

"It's no trouble at all," Mrs. Jones said.

She smiled and waved at her before getting into the car, and they sped out of sight.

..........

Andrea was dressed in a floral maxi dress, and her hair was packed in a ponytail. She applied a little amount of foundation and concealer on her face, then finished up the simple look with a matte red lip tint.

Sean came into the room with Ruby and Pearl in his arms, and he was left in awe when he saw Andrea.

"Do I look good in this dress?" she said as she turned to face him, peering her eyes on him for his opinion.

'You look gorgeous in this dress,' Sean held her hostage with his gaze. He walked over to her and stood in front of her. He wouldn't have been able to resist the urge to kiss her if not for the fact he was holding both Ruby and Pearl in his arms.

"I do?" She pouted her lip as she blinked rapidly.

"Andrea, would you stop punishing me? Come here and give me a kiss."

"Mr. Wilson, you are so shameless and domineering!" A flush crept up her face as she leaned in and kissed him on the lips.

.........

"Sir, young master is here," a maid reported to Mr. Wilson with a bright smile on her face.

Mr. Wilson raised his head from the magazine, his eyes following the directions where the sounds of footsteps were approaching, revealing Sean and Andrea with the twins.

"Son, you are finally here. I thought maybe you had changed your mind," Mr. Wilson said, chuckling.

"Dad, this is Andrea, my wife, and the mother of the twins," Sean said, holding onto Andrea reassuringly.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Dad," she said, squeezing out a polite smile.

Mr. Wilson's pupils dilated as he digested the words Sean had uttered earlier. "Your wife?" he repeated.

Andrea felt a little embarrassed and lowered her gaze slightly, hoping he wasn't thinking she had forced Sean into marrying her for any crafty motives.

"Yes. We already got our marriage certificate, and we will be going public soon," Sean announced unceremoniously as he sat down on the couch with Andrea.

"Where is your wife?" Sean said to his father.

"Madam will be down shortly," the maid quickly said before walking away.

Andrea felt bored as the father and son engaged in a business conversation; she looked around the large living room, feeding her eyes.

Just then, the sounds of approaching footsteps echoed in the living room, and Sean and Andrea turned around to find Mrs. Wilson walking over.

She was nothing like Andrea had expected; she was a fair-skinned, slender lady with chocolate hair that fell freely above her shoulders. If not for the fact that she knew Sean was the only child, she would have mistaken Mrs. Wilson for his elder sister. She looked young, elegant, and pretty.

"Mom, what took you so long to come downstairs?" Sean demanded as he fiddled with Andrea's fingers.

She couldn't help but smile faintly after seeing Sean, even though he had been ignoring her for months. She was happy he finally came to see her, but setting her gaze on the vixen beside him made her mood fall.

Mrs. Wilson held her hostage with her gaze, as if trying to read all of her thoughts. "I was getting dressed," she replied, her gaze still fixated on Andrea.
