Andrea sneered ” I won't help him no matter what he does. He never considered my feelings as a human. I was called an illegitimate child of the family and he never said or did anything about that. To round it up, I can never forgive him Lena,”

” You don't have to Andrea. He's not worthy to have a daughter as special as you are,I feel so blessed to have a best friend like you,” Elena smiled and patted her hand.

Andrea returned a sweet smile ” I feel even luckier to have you Lena,”

Elena stuck out her tongue” Geez! I almost forgot it's your birthday the day after tomorrow,”

Andrea burst into laughter ” you know I don't celebrate my birthdays it's just like another day to remember that my parents never really wanted me. Can we just skip it like we always do?”

” I can't promise this to you Andrea,” Elena winked at her and Andrea let out a loud sigh.

They arrived at the apartment, immediately they went in, Andrea asked for her phone and Elena handed it back to her.

” Did Mr Jones call me? ” she turned back to Elena.

Elena nodded instantly ” I'm sorry it slipped my mind. He called when you were asleep,”

” I hope you didn't tell him I was admitted at the hospital, I don't want him to worry about me,” Andrea batted her lashes.

” I had to tell him and he also told me to inform him immediately you wake up. You should call him,” Elena said nonchalantly as she climbed the stairs.

” Lena you are really something else these days ” Andrea muttered as she shook her head.

WALLNER'S MANSION, AMERICA

”Carmen, would you stop crying like a kid? ” Mrs Wallner said as she screwed up her face.

Carmen sniffled and raised her head from the pillow ” I'm tired mom, what do you want me to do? I'm trying my best to impress Sean but he isn't even paying attention to my existence and what the heck has he been doing in Australia he didn't take his Assistant along which means he went there for personal reasons,” she said as she pressed her hands on her cheeks.

Mrs Warner's face contorted” Does Sean have a girlfriend there? ” she asked as she walked towards the window.

Carmen shook her head ” His mother said it's impossible for Sean to fall in love nonetheless having a girlfriend I just feel he went there so he can avoid me ” she bit her lip in anger.

” There's something fishy, I will ask someone to find out what he's up to in Australia. Don't worry Carmen, your mother will make Sean become yours. You are not getting any younger, you are already 27, your friends are all married and it's time you settle down with the man of your dreams ” Mrs Wallner smirked sinisterly.

” Thanks mom, I will do anything to be with Sean,” she said in a hoarse voice.

JJ ENTERTAINMENT

Jacob Jones came out of a meeting and went straight to his office, before he could even take his seat he heard a delicate knock on his door

” Come in, ” he said nonchalantly and the door was pushed open revealing a lady dressed in a black sexy dress.

Jacob pursed his lips ” What do you want, Lily? ” he asked as he plopped himself on his seat.

She chuckled as she moved nearer to his table ” Jacob it's doll face remember? Well I came here to check up on you. I noticed you have been working really hard recently just to make sure everyone is happy so I decided to appreciate your effort with these boxes of muffins, ” she smiled.

” Okay, okay, Lily or doll face can you please head out now. I have some work to finish,” Jacob said as he pulled his drawer open.

Doll face squeezed a small smile ” You are right Jacob. I should leave you to do your work. Make sure you have the muffins once you are done. Goodbye and take care of yourself, don't forget your health is very important ” she said but Jacob didn't even bother to look at her.

She took in a sharp breath and turned around to leave ” wait,” she heard Jacob Jones' voice and she stopped in her tracks immediately.

” Haven't I warned you to stop referring to me as Jacob, don't forget I'm your boss and take that box away as you leave. I don't take sweet stuffs ” he said unceremoniously as he shut his laptop.

Doll face glared at him angrily before taking the box roughly ” okay I will get you healthy snacks next time,” she faked a smile.

Just then Assistant Simon dashed in ” oh are those muffins? ” he asked with a faint smile.

” You can have them if you want it,” Jacob said nonchalantly.

Doll face furrowed her brows ” but these are for you not him,” she said above a whisper.

” You got this for me right? Then it shouldn't be your problem on who I decided to give it to, right? ” Jacob smiled politely.

Her lower lip quivered ” bu…but..i..I ” she gave up and handed the box to Simon and spun on her heels.

Immediately she got out of the office she took off her heels and threw it away furiously ” Arghh! Damn it! ”

Few minutes later a lady came marching towards her angrily while holding the heels she threw earlier ” You bitch how dare you throw these worthless shoes on me,” she demanded angrily.

Doll face tightened her fist ” What were you doing there? Were you trying to eavesdrop on I and Jacob's conversation you low life,”

Kylie chuckled sarcastically ” I should be saying that to you Lily as far as I remember you were popular months back what happened now? Who even remembers you once had a career? Whether you like it or not Lily you are old news and you should learn to accept the fact that there is only one queen in the whole of this industry and it's me Kylie,”

Doll face expression turned dark instantly, she bit her lip hard till it turned pale. She had just said whatever that comes out of her mouth forgetting the fact that Kylie is now bigger than her in the industry. As a proud lady that she is she couldn't lose face in front of these people `` oh you think so? You mean all these impressive ladies here that have been working their butts off are nothing? Is that what you are trying to imply? And you are the only one the company is benefiting from?”

The other ladies began to mummer among themselves soon enough they all crowded Kylie with angry expressions on their faces.

Doll face smiled cheekily ” how do you like that? Huh? ” she whispered close to Kylie's ear and she felt cold chills run down her spine.

In the next minutes only Kylie's helpless screams were heard as they all ganged up against her.

Jacob Jones and Simon heard loud noises and they quickly rushed downstairs only to meet Kylie lying on the ground while wincing in pains.

Jacob Jones was already looking like a bull from a China shop ” Stop this nonsense! ” He roared angrily and they all stepped back instantly. He forced his way into the crowd and helped Kylie up.

” Now all of you get out!!” he yelled furiously and they all dispersed immediately.

” Geez! I have never seen Boss so angry before ”

” Right? Who knows maybe he is in a relationship with Kylie that must be the reason she's the most successful actress in the company presently,”

” Bingo! Don't you notice how she have been bagging lots of deals lately it must have been Boss doings ”

” Of course he wants his woman to shine as for me I wouldn't go looking for Kylie's trouble anymore after all I'm just a C list celebrity,”

” you are right, we should stay out of the couples affairs before we get thrown out of the company before we even stand a chance to make a name for ourselves here after all no company is as bigger as JJ entertainment”

Doll face clenched her jaw tightly as she listened to their conversations, she turned back to find Kylie leaning on Jacob's chest as she whimpered.

She felt her chest tightened, she glared at them one more time before stomping out and so did her assistant.
