Chapter 25: Karma is a bitch!

GREEN HILL HOSPITAL

” Andrea the doctor said the babies are fine, will you stop crying now,” Elena sighs silently.

She sniffled, wiping her tears away. ” I know, I was just wondering what would have happened if I had lost my babies,” she said In between her tears.

” It's okay there are no If's in life ” she said as she stroked her hair gently.

” I have to go now, I will come back soon, ”

” Lena, what about Mr Wilson? ” Andrea asked softly.

” I think he left already. He's a bussiness man so he must have important things to do. I'm just so glad he came right in time,” Elena said before walking away and Andrea looked a little despondent.

Andrea shut her eyes, just then she heard sounds of someone twisting the door knob. Her eyes flew open as she watched Mr Wilson walk into the room,in his right hand was a package from Harmony.

” Hi, how are you feeling now? ” He asked softly.

Andrea smiled faintly ” I'm fine now and it's all thanks to you,”

” It's nothing, I'm just glad you are fine, ” Sean said casually.

Andrea licked her parched lips” Why are you….. Mr Wilson, why did you help me the other day? ” she asked nervously.

” The doctor said you should eat something and then get some rest,” He dropped the package as he got up and headed straight to the door.

” Mr Wilson, can you stay a little longer with me,” Andrea blurted out as she nibbled with her bottom lip.

Sean paused in his track and slowly turned around ” Sure,” he replied and took a seat.

The room suddenly fell silent, Andrea turned around and their eyes connected instantly. She couldn't maintain eye contact with him so she quickly lowered her gaze to the bed.

” I would like to say something ” they both said together in unison.

Andrea smiled ” You can go first Mr Wilson,”

He cleared his throat slightly ” I would like to apologise to you, actually I find out that one of the employees framed you for the necklace the other time,”

” Oh, I'm just happy you found the real culprit ” she said as she looked away from him.

He itched his hair awkwardly” Yeah, I'm sorry and I was hoping after your delivery, you will come back and work for the company,” Sean said in a sheepish manner.

” I will think about it,” Andrea replied almost immediately.

Sean sighed loudly, he knew that was going to be her reply, his gaze returned to the table, he unpacked the food himself ” if she doesn't eat I will force her to eat. I won't let her starve my kids along with herself,” he said inwardly.

She noticed his move and the part that took her by surprise is the fact he wanted to feed her ” open up,” he said unceremoniously and she only stared at him while batting her lashes.

” Hey don't keep me waiting,” he said in a bossy manner and Andrea scoffed loudly.

” I won't open up nor will I eat anything until you tell me why you were at my doorstep,” she crossed her hand over her chest.

Sean froze on the seat, he could feel his heartbeat accelerating, he cleared his throat slightly ” I saw a car, I mean I was passing by and I saw a black car outside the building, I thought it was that guy I saw you with at the mall. I had analysed he came for trouble that's why I decided to check up on you which is a good thing right?”

Andrea's lips twitched slightly ” Philip doesn't own a black car and i didn't see the supposed black car when you were bringing me to the hospital, ”

Sean's expression turned slightly dark ” This woman is so amazing, she was in pain and she could vividly remember everything she saw. Andrea you never fell to amaze me, ” he thought inwardly.

” oh! I must have seen the wrong person then, at least everything worked out for good and didn't I tell you to close your eyes,” he said, keeping a straight face.

Andrea's eyes went around, she let out a weird laugh ” you are right everything happens for good. Let's forget about this topic,”

She was quite ashamed of herself; she distinctly remembered how she was stealing glances from him.

He put the spoon close to her lips and she slowly opened up, he stared at her as she chewed her food slowly, he continued this way for a while and Andrea felt really awkward.

She coughed embarrassingly ” I'm okay, ”

This time around he didn't force her, instead he opened a bottle of water for her.

” Thank you Sir,” she said with a polite smile.

Sean's ears turned red instantly, he lowered his gaze to the sheet vinyl flooring. ” Andrea, once you find out the truth I bet you will feel like disappearing from the world,” he thought to himself.

He got up and smoothed his shirt ” y…you should get some rest I will come check up on you later,” Sean said and walked out of the room hastily.

WESTWELL ESTATE

Lachlan sat down at the balcony of his room with a grave expression on his face,he had heard what Sean Wilson did to Daisy and he was wondering if he knew he was in cahoots with her.

He suddenly let out a mirthless laugh ” He would never think that I could frame my own daughter right? And if he truly found out the truth he would have done something bad to me by now,” he said to no one in particular as he tried to comfort himself over the issue at hand.

Lachlan got up and walked towards the bed to take his nap. He was quite in a good mood as he noticed the company's stock was rising earlier today. He smiled and decided to take a look again to brighten up his spirit ” Andrea you think my company won't do fine without you right? ” he scoffed loudly.

Immediately he caught sight of his stocks, his eyes widened as he placed his hand on his chest, he let out a loud groan before slumping on the hard floor.

Rosette heard his voice from the bathroom and quickly rushed out only to find him on the ground ” Lachlan! Lachlan! '' she called out to him but he couldn't respond.

” Naomi! Jace! Get the car ” Rosette rushed out of the room.

Hours later, at Green Hill hospital the doctor came out of the ward ” Please who is the patient's family? ” he asked.

Rosette hastily stood up ” I'm his wife, doctor tell me what's going on quickly? ”

” Be rest assured his fine but he almost suffered a stroke that could make him paralyzed for life. I must say your husband is one lucky man,” the doctor said with a smile before walking away.

Rosette heaved a sigh of relief as she placed her hand on her beating heart. She proceeded into the ward and found him sleeping.

” Mom, I have a party to be at right now. So I will just leave and let you and Jace handle the situation,” Naomi said and placed a kiss on Rosette's forehead.

” Your dad almost got paralyzed and all that matters to you is a worthless party? Huh? ” Rosette said furiously.

Naomi ignored her and headed out of the ward. ” You better come back here Naomi,” Rosette yelled as she paid a deaf ear to her mother's words.

” What a good for nothing child,” she spat out angrily.

The Following Evening, Andrea was finally discharged from the hospital.

” Lena, who paid my hospital bills? ” Andrea demanded as they walked towards Elena's car.

Elena paused for a while before smiling” I did,” she said nonchalantly.

Andrea snorted inwardly ” Lena, why are you lying? I haven't forgotten the fact that when you lie your lashes quivers continuously,”

” Damn! Andrea! Why do you know me so well? Anyways Mr Wilson sorted out the hospital's bill and he told me to keep it a secret because he doesn't like the fact that you always have to thank him,” Elena said.

” Why wouldn't he want that? I mean he's Mr Wilson everyone knows how much he loves to be praised for whatever he does,” Andrea scrunched up her face.

” Maybe he has realised that it's immature. I don't know, he's your boss not mine by the way I heard Mr Graham was admitted at the hospital tonight,” Elena said as she started the car.

” That's not my concern, I don't want to have anything to do with those heartless people,” Andrea said matter of fact and Elena nodded.

She chuckled ” I totally agree with you that shouldn't be your problem even though their company is on the verge of collapsing,”

” Really? But they were doing fine this morning. How is that possible? ” Andrea asked curiously.

Elena smiled ” The Graham's cooperation stocks fell drastically I heard three shareholders left the company after selling their stocks and Mr Graham suffered a panic attack immediately he found out, ”

Andrea carved her brows in awe ” I guess karma caught up with him sooner than I expected,”

Elena burst into laughter ” Karma is a b!tch! But seriously now that his company is facing lots of crisis he might come begging you for help,”
