Chapter 24: Marriage my foot!

***FLASH BACK

EARLIER THAT DAY, AT THE STUDY

A knock was heard on the door before it was pushed open,” Boss she's here ” a guard reported before him.

Sean raised his head from the table and in a crisp voice he said ” let her in,”

The guard bowed slightly before walking out of the room, in the next second the door was pushed open revealing Crystal.

She nervously walked over to his table, she was putting on a v-neck top revealing her cleavages and a blue flay skirt that could barely cover her thighs.

" S..s..sir you called for me ” she said in a seductive voice while pretending to be nervous.

Sean ignored her existence till he was done with his work, he closed his file and raised his head to look at her from head to toes.

” Which department are you from in the company? ” he said nonchalantly and Crystal gave him a foolish look ” huh?” She thought he had picked interest in her and that's why he called her over to his house.

” I work at the finance department sir,” she replied after composing herself.

Sean scoffed loudly ” I didn't know that a slut was employed at my company, ” he said icily.

Crystal gulped down her saliva nervously, her eyes had already become glossy.

” I'm not a slut sir, I am still a virgin if you don't believe me you can……”

Sean sneered ” I can do what? No just look at yourself with this tiny piece of clothing you are wearing ” he laughed sarcastically.

Crystal's tears began to fall freely like rain drops, she bit her lip hard fighting the urge to stop herself from crying.

” I only called you over to ask you a question and you better give an answer because if you don't you will pay with your life,” he chuckled in a cold tone.

She felt cold chills run down her spine immediately she vividly knew he wasn't making a fuss and with a snap of his fingers he could get her killed.

” So tell me who set Andrea up that night of the grand opening,”

” Who did what? Sir Andrea really did take the neck piece ” she said unceremoniously.

” Oh really? ” he got up from his seat and threw a tight slap across her face.

Crystal felt her head spinning for a while as she held onto her cheek gasping for breath.

" For the last time who took the neck piece” he yelled furiously as his hands gripped her neck tightly.

Crystal's eyes widened in shock as she tried to break herself free but her power couldn't be matched with his, she felt she might lose her consciousness any moment just then he let go of her.

She ran to the other end of the wall and held onto her slightly red neck as she coughed violently.

Sean approached her slowly, she could see his expression had turned darker and his eyes were so cold-blooded and capable of drilling one's soul.

She moved backwards till her back was against the wall before Sean could meet up with her she hurriedly confessed ” it was Daisy. Daisy did it, please don't kill me ” she whimpered weakly.

” Get out immediately ” Sean bowed his head and he heard her hurried footsteps.

SOUTH SONG STREET, CONDOMINIUM

” Welcome back, ” Andrea smiled sweetly at Elena.

” Wow, someone is in a good mood today,” Elena said.

” Is there any food to eat? ” she demanded, walking towards the kitchen.

” Yeah about that, my legs are sore and I couldn't prepare anything ” she pouted sadly.

” It's okay Andrea I understand,” she said and was about to leave the kitchen, when her eyes caught sight of a package bag.

” Oh my, who ate from Harmony. How did someone's trash get into our house ” she said excitedly.

” Weren't you the one who had sent it over and why are you yelling, isn't it just food?” Andrea said nonchalantly.

” Are you crazy? Why will I get you food from Harmony if I am to do that I will have to use all of my salary. Where did you get this from? ”

” Huh? You're not the one? Someone came knocking on the door and he said the food is meant for me ” Andrea almost cried.

” geez! Or did he come to the wrong Address? ” Elena panicked a little.

” That's not possible, is there any Andrea Graham in this building? ” she smacked her forehead.

” Wait, what if it was Mr Wilson who had sent it over, ” Elena analysed.

Andrea shook her head ” why will he do that? We aren't even close,”she let out a confused smile.

” Andrea, you don't understand that this food is very expensive. I think you should call him, ” Elena said and she nodded hesitantly.

She picked up her cell phone and dialled his number it kept ringing for a while before it got connected

” Mr Wilson, I wanted to know if you were the one who sent a delivery guy to my place in the morning? ” she said above a whisper.

” If I say yes, what will you do? ” he replied to her with a question.

” I.. I would say thank you for it,” Andrea rolled her eyes.

Sean chuckled softly ” I thought you would decide to pay me back, you should get some rest goodnight,” he said and hung up.

Andrea dropped the phone with a small smile on her lips, her cheeks had turned slightly red.

” Why are you looking like that? ” Elena tittered delightfully.

” Actually you are right, it was Mr Wilson who had ordered the food,” Andrea sighed loudly.

” Why do I feel like something is going on? I feel there would be a love story soon,” Elena burst into laughter and Andrea cheeks grew redder.

” Shut up, Why would he even think of me that way, I'm a mother of two kids,” Andrea's eyes went around.

” Let's see about that,” Elena muttered.

WEEKS LATER, BLUE BELLE VUE

” Son, where in the world are you?, ”Mrs Wilson demanded angrily.

” Look mom, I'm not in for your nonsense today. I'm in a very bad mood and I don't want to speak to you, ”Sean said coldly.

” Wow, great! This is what I get from you as your mother. You better come back to America and get prepared for your marriage with Carmen,” Mrs Wilson spat furiously.

” Marriage my foot! I'm not getting married to that ugly duckling,” Sean said through gritted teeth and hung up instantly.

He hasn't heard or seen Andrea for weeks and he badly wanted to check up on her but he had no reason to get close to her in the first place.

” Sir, here is your coffee, ” the maid brought it to him with a slight bow.

He slapped the tray and everything shattered into pieces.” Get out,” he yelled furiously as she picked up on her heels immediately.

Sean got up and drove out of the house, he headed straight to the condominium. He parked his car and stared at the window. He was brave enough to drive over but he felt scared to go up.

He mustered the courage and took the elevator, he arrived at her doorstep and stood there for a while before using the doorbell.

” Should I just give her a call? ” he thought inwardly as he got no response.

It rang for a long while till it got disconnected ” is she ignoring my calls? ” he snorted as he kept trying, luckily the phone got connected this time around ” Are you home?”

” Arghh! Ouch!! It's hurting ” Andrea groaned loudly in pain.

” Andrea are you okay? Where are you? ” he asked hurriedly.

” I'm at the house ” she managed to say in-between her cries.

Without holding back he twisted the door knob and went in he found her on the ground wincing in pain.

He rushed to her and tried to lift her up but she refused ” it's really hurting," she felt a warm liquid sliding down her legs.

She raised her skirt slightly and she gasped in shock ” Mr Wilson b..bl..blood ” she stuttered as tears rushed out of her eyes.

Andrea hugged him tightly in fear Sean was stunned that he didn't even know what to do ” Andrea, calm down, I want you to close your eyes ” he said and she nodded in pain.

Sean lifted her up gently and carried her in a bridal style, he glanced at her face, her eyes were closed but her lashes were quivering continuously. He carried her out of the building and he placed her gently at the backseat before starting the car ” just hold on a bit, you will be fine,” he mumbled.
