Chapter 22: Andrea I love you

” I got this at an auction last week, it's so precious and everyone wanted to have it. I had to buy it for 15 million dollars, ” Lachlan sighs loudly.

Lisa's eyes twinkled immediately. She had looked down on the gift previously who knew this tiny bracelet cost so much.

”Congrats Lisa, I'm out of here,” Jace said as he walked out of the ward.

” What's wrong with him? ” Lisa couldn't help but ask.

” Isn't this how he has been all his life? He's so cold and aloof I wonder where mom and dad got him from. So odd and annoying sometimes, ” Naomi said as she blew on her gum.

AT A VILLA

Philip sat by the window in his bedroom with a bottle of beer. He didn't know why the thought of Sean and Andrea having a relationship was bothering him this much.

He ruffled his hair in frustration, one thing is clear for sure. He is still crazily in love with Andrea, the news of her pregnancy angered him alot and he felt like mocking her a bit to ease his broken heart but who knew she was actually with her soon to be husband.

The way Sean wrapped his arms around her shoulder made him clenched his fist. He didn't want to even think about how he gets to touch and kiss her in private.

He ground his jaw in fury ” No Andrea is mine! mine alone ” he threw the bottle on the ground roughly and it shattered in pieces.

Philip relaxed his hands on the dressing mirror, he slowly raised his head staring at his reflection and suddenly Sean's reflection appeared close to him with a smug smile ” you are a good for nothing and you can never compare yourself with Mr Wilson, his far ahead of you in every aspect in life, ” he heard a voice in his head and he felt his whole body trembling from anger.

His chest rose and fell with heavy breaths, he couldn't take it any longer. He grabbed the lamp by the bedside table ” He's no better than me ” he yelled furiously as he smashed the mirror and the flying glass pierced through his arm.

Philip winced in pain and fell onto the ground, he pulled out the piece of broken glass and blood began to stream out of his arm. ” Andrea I love you,” he said above a whisper as he shut his eyes in misery.

AT THE CONDOMINIUM

Andrea sat down in the living room with her hands on her chin, she was lost in thoughts again that she didn't even hear the clicking sounds from the door.

Elena came in and met her gazing outside the window in deep thought. She shook her head and slowly approached her. She placed her hands on Andrea's shoulder and she knocked out of her thoughts instantly.

” Lena,when did you get back? ” Andrea turned to her with a weak smile.

” Just now, you were deep in thoughts, that's why you didn't notice. Tell me what's wrong? ” Elena asked attentively.

Andrea remained silent for a long while ” I met Philip at the shopping centre today, ”

Elena sighs loudly, she could tell he must have said hurtful words to Andrea ” what did he say to you? ” she asked.

Andrea let out a bitter laugh ” He told me that Lisa is better than me and I would always be behind her for the rest of my life. He told me how happy he was and called me a slut and a one night stand bitch, ” her voice began to crack.

Elena hugged her ” You and I no none of this is true Andrea, don't let his words have any effect on you. You have been strong all these years and I want you to continue this way ” her eyes were already teary.

Andrea sniffled as she wiped her tears away and continued ” I slapped him and told him I have nothing to do with him anymore. Elena I almost cried right there, I just couldn't take it any longer and then Mr Wilson showed up and told Philip I was his fiancee and his babies mother he really saved face for me……

Elena's jaw slackened ” Huh? Wait, which Mr Wilson? Girl, I hope is not the same one I know because I won't believe ”

Andrea couldn't help but laugh as she nodded her head ” it's really him even I couldn't believe everything at first I thought I was daydreaming. He really helped me a lot and paid for the bills but i returned the money to me I don't want to owe him more favours thank goodness he didn't insist”

Elena chuckled ” Wow! Mr Wilson has managed to change my impression about him. Tell me Philip's reaction when he said that to him ”

” Philip couldn't even say a thing he was just having this stupid look on his face, I wasn't in the right state of mind to even enjoy the situation but it was really fun, ” she smiled.

Elena couldn't stop laughing ” But you know Mr Wilson is so funny, so he took the money, what a stingy man you came across and what did he say afterwards like….. ”

Andrea smile slipped away ” You are right, he only gave me a lift home, he didn't say a thing to me throughout the ride and I'm glad he took the money I don't like holding people any favours ”

” Gosh! The fact he's your ex boss makes it funnier you know, I wish he's truly the father of your babies ” Elena beamed.

” No, I don't want that, I can't handle a man like Mr Wilson. I don't want to even imagine that, I might have nightmares ” she felt chills run down her spine.

Elena burst into another round of laughter ” Guess who I saw at the hospital today? ”

” Lisa? ” Andrea asked as she carved her brows.

” Exactly! She gave birth today at our hospital and Philip didn't show up at all. Actually I had seen her going out of the doctor's office, I noticed her reaction when she met me she was acting kind of off and trying all her best to cover up the side of her face and then a strong wind blew to her direction and I got a vivid look of her face and I realised her cheeks was swollen. My colleague then told me that Philip beats her up everytime he comes home drunk”

Andrea's eyes widened ” are you sure about this? That's impossible. He told me how happy he is with Lisa ” She frowned slightly.

” Well that shouldn't be our problem right? Have you eaten dinner? ” Elena asked as she got up from the couch.

” No, I was waiting for you to get back, ” Andrea also got up.

” What would you like to eat my Queen? '' she wiggled her brows at her and Andrea cracked up.

” There's no need for that because I already prepared dinner, ” Andrea smiled sweetly.

” Gosh! What will I do without you girl,” Elena gushed lovingly.

Andrea gigled ” just shut up and stuff your mouth with the food,”

SHIMMERS COMPANY, AMERICA

The following morning,

Carmen forced her way into the CEO's office, she barged in and found no one.

” Huh? It's 9am in the morning. Where is Sean? ” she thought as she looked around the empty office.

Natasha dashed right in ” Miss I told you he's not here. You are not supposed to be here you need to leave right away,”

” Then where did he go? Is he in a meeting? I will wait right here for him ” Carmen asked furiously.

” Sean is out of the country, ” they heard a voice from behind and they both turned around.

” Where did he go? When is he coming back? I need to speak to him urgently,” Carmen asked impatiently.

" Sean left for Australia the previous morning, I don't know when he's coming back but my instincts tell me it will take pretty long before he gets back ” Sonny smirked mischievously.

Carmen stomped off angrily ” I will call Aunt immediately. I really need Sean, ” she muttered slowly.
