Chapter 21: baby are you done shopping?

AT A SHOPPING MALL DOWNTOWN

Andrea was walking around the diaper section ” what brand do I get? '' she wondered to herself as her gaze travelled round the whole place.

Her gaze finally settled on the one with a blue pack, immediately she reached for it, a masculine hand grabbed it, her gaze moved to the person and surprisingly it was Philip.

She lowered her gaze and began to walk away and then he got hold of her hand

” Why are you walking away? Didn't you want to get diapers for your babies? ” he asked and she could grab the hint of sarcasm in his words.

She decided to stay mute and ignore him. Andrea slowly freed her hand from his grip.

” Andrea May Graham, aren't you ashamed of yourself? I know I betrayed you but you also did the same thing. I'm glad I didn't end up with a thief and a slut like you. Lisa will always be far better than you in every aspect of life,”

” Please just stop your nonsense. Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. I don't care, Philip Myers, you and I have nothing to do with each other anymore. I will prefer if we act like strangers from now on, ” Andrea said in a cold tone.

Philip scoffed loudly ” of course I won't want anyone to see me with a failure and a one night stand bitch, ” he said mockingly.

Andrea threw a heavy slap across his face ” how could you say something shameless about me? ” she gasped with tears threatening to come out of her eyes.

Philip held his cheeks in anger and chuckled codly ” are you feeling better now? You think slapping me will change a damn thing ” he laughed sarcastically.

” Yes that slap changed a thing, and I hope it stops you from always coming to conclusions ” they heard a deep magnetic voice and they all turned around in unison.

Andrea had a surprised look on her face while Philip was staring at Sean with a frown as he walked over to them.

Sean suddenly took the shopping basket from Andrea and wrapped his free hand on her shoulder ” what were you saying about my fiancee? ” he asked.

Philip's eyes widened as he gulped down his saliva hardly while staring at the both of them. They really did look together and he felt anger burning within him.

Andrea looked at Sean and he was still maintaining a serious cold look on his face. ” What's going on? ” she thought to herself.

Sean snapped his finger bringing Philip back to reality ” Say something what happened to that sharp tongue of yours a while ago? Anyways I would love to reply to you. Let me make this clear: the woman besides me is my fiance, the mother of my babies and you even called her a thief.

I was the one who fired her, yes I did that because I had told her countless times to stop working. I don't like it when my woman goes hard on herself but she refused so I had to set her up as an excuse to fire her. It's so funny how you don't use that tiny brain of yours Andrea here can buy everything you can ever think of owning, from henceforth I don't want you to speak to my lady anymore I don't like it. Baby are you done shopping? ” he turned back to Andrea.

Andrea's jaw almost dropped and her brain couldn't process the situation. She didn't even realise that they had walked over to the counter and Sean had paid all the bills.

They walked out of the mall together, Andrea finally came back to her senses she raised her head and stared at Sean but he had a nebulous gaze.

They both stared at each and suddenly her eyes became watering and tears flowed down her cheek.

Sean used his finger to wipe it off ” why are you crying? ” he said softly.

She pressed her lips together and no words could come out of her mouth even though she couldn't tell if he had done the right thing. He saved face for her infront of Philip and at the same time he added fire to the smoke. Once Philip finds out everything was a lie he would mock her even more.

Sean shook his head and opened the back seat of his car and threw all the shopping bags in there. He opened the front passenger seat for her and Andrea hesitated slightly before getting in.

The ride was very peaceful and quiet as they all had different thoughts going on in their head. Andrea still couldn't comprehend why Sean did all these for her and Sean didn't know why he stepped into the matter, he felt maybe he grew too excited.

They finally arrived at the condominium and his car came to a halt. Andrea glanced at him and opened her purse. She brought out 60AUD `` thank you very much, I don't want to owe you any more favours. '' She passed the money to him and Sean surprisingly took it.

” Bye ” she muttered as she got out of the car.

Sean helped her with the shopping bags,she stretched her hand to retrieve them but he didn't let her ” I will take them up for you ” he said.

They got to the condo and he dropped the bags at the door ” okay I will take my leave now, ” with that said he walked out.

Andrea watched him till he disappeared from sight, she unlocked the door and went into the living room.

She sat on the couch and everything came flashing through her mind. She sighs loudly. He really did smell nice and his voice was so captivating ” the thought alone put a smile on her face.

BACK OUTSIDE

Sean smiled as he sniffed the money she had given to him, it still had her scent ” I will keep this money forever with me. As long as I am here Andrea I won't let anyone hurt you again, " he muttered as he finally drove off.

The encounter with her was never by chance; he had hired a spy to inform him about her whereabouts at all times.

Last night, he told one of his men to bring every detail of her, even the slightest of them. He realised she was a decent lady, she had the opportunity to abort the babies but she didn't because she had a sense of responsibility. Furthermore she's exactly his type of lady, smart, beautiful and bold.

GREEN HILL HOSPITAL

Lisa was lying on the bed weakly, her whole face had turned pale after child bearing.

She glanced at the infant that was carefully placed on the cradle and couldn't help but scoff loudly ” thank goodness, I gave both to a male child let's see how Philip gets rid of me now after all his family are only after a male child, ” she said to Rosette who was cutting up some fruits.

Rosette smiles sweetly ” everything will always work in your favour child but where is Philip? I thought he went to purchase diapers at the store, ” she asked.

” How am I supposed to know? Just hand me my phone on the table over there I will give him a piece of my mind today, he dared raise his hand to hit my face last night all because I insulted that riffraff Andrea,” she said and Rosette's smile slowly slipped away.

The phone kept ringing for a long time and he didn't pick up. She kept trying multiple times until his number got switched off.

” Wow! Just look at how your son in-law is treating me ” Lisa chuckled codly.

” You mean he hit you because of that slut? Why can't she just varnish from the world? That girl must be really jinxed ” Rosette spat angrily.

” You are right, I really want her dead, ” Lisa clenched her fist.

The whole of the Graham's family sauntered in except for Granny.

” Sis, how do you feel about being a mother? Does it hurt? ” Naomi fired her with questions as she walked towards the cradle.

Lisa sighs loudly ” mom why did you let them in? ”

” What are you saying Lisa, they are your family, ” she reminded her.

” oh I guess I should take my gift and leave ” Lachlan said and Lisa hastily stopped him.

” Dad, how can you leave without seeing your grandson? ” she smiled brightly.

Lachlan walked over to the cradle and put on a bracelet on the baby's little hand. Lisa rolled her eyes secretly, she had thought it was some sort of huge valuable gift.
