Chapter 133: Chapter 133
The next morning, Elena woke up as early as possible and got dressed to leave for work. She had no idea where Jacob went inin the early hours of the day, as she didn't meet him in the room when she woke up.
She fixed her hair in the mirror and grabbed her bag, then immediately unlocked the door to leave. Just as she did, Jacob walked in with a tray carrying sandwiches, tea, and sliced apples. "Have breakfast before you leave," he said, placing it on the center table and sitting down on the bed, gesturing for her to take a seat beside him.
Elena looked at him in surprise and sat down without touching the food. "Should I feed you myself, myself, or did you get it?" he asked, arching his brows at her.
"I got it," she quickly replied before he could do something strange again. Jacob watched her finish every piece of her breakfast before finally seeming satisfied.
"Let me drive you to work," he said.
"I thought you had important things to do today, which is why you got up so early," Elena said.
"No, I want to drop off my pretend girlfriend at work as a good pretend boyfriend.." Jacob flashed a smile and winked at her.
"Come on, let's go," hesaid, leading said, leading the way, and Elena quietly followed him downstairs. He held Elena's hand and took her straight to Mrs. Jones, who was in the kitchen making her husband's coffee.
"Mom, I'm off to drop Elena off at work," he said.
"That's so thoughtful of you, son. May God keep you two happy forever. You two take care and drive safely too," Mrs. Jones said, caressing Elena's hair lovingly.
"Make sure you don't skip meals so you won't have to lose weight," Mrs. Jones added in a tender voice, making Elena feel loved and welcome there.
"Babe, shall we?" Jacob said, extending his hand towards her. Elena smiled sweetly and took his hand as they left.
"It's so pleasing to see two youngsters in love," she sighed deeply as she thought about the time she met her own soulmate and how they had built a family together.
Before Jacob opened the car door for her, he leaned in and kissed her on the lips. He knew Elena would protest, so he whispered softly in her ear, "Just play along; Mom is currently looking at us."
Jacob then pulled away from her, her, and after Elena got in, he shut the door and waved goodbye toto Mrs. Jones, who was staring at them happily before starting the car.
"Are you that mad at me for kissing you? I'm so sorry," he said.
"You should be; kissing was never part of our agreement in the first place. I only agreed to act like your girlfriend in front of your parents."
"Don't real couples kiss and stuff? If I hadn't done it, my mom would have suspected us, and I'm sorry for it," Jacob said.
Elena massaged her temples, temples, saying, saying, "It's okay anyway; this deal of ours will be over in some weeks time, time, and we can all finally drop the acts and move on with our lives.lives." EverythingEverything she said was casual, casual, but it had a huge impact on Jacob,Jacob, who had confirmed he was head over heels in love with her after kissing her the other night.
"But do we still get to see each other and hang out sometimes? Right?" Jacob asked.
"I don't think that's a good idea, Jacob. If your family learnslearns about it, it will only give them more room to think that we'll'll get back together," Elena reasoned calmly. Jacob realized she was right.
"Can I do without seeing or thinking about Elena? Absolutely not!" He thought inwardly.
The car came to a stop as they arrived at Blue Moon Private Hospital. As Elena unbuckled her seatbelt, Jacob leaned over to her.her. "I don't think I'll be able to do without seeing you, Lena,Lena," hesaid, staring said, staring into her brown eyes as he shifted strands of her hair away from her gorgeous face.
As he tried to press his lips on hers again, Elena pushed him away and apologized before getting out of the car. "Shit! Jacob,Jacob, WhyWhy are you scaring her away?" HeHe transferred his angry punches to his steering wheel.

Sean stood at his office window, staring out at the cityscape as his mind replayed last night's events. He'd suffered from insomnia without Andrea by his side, and now he couldn't shake off the guilt that had been building up inside him.
He thought about Andrea's perspective, trying to understand why she'd been distant lately. He decided to support his wife's decision, no matter what it was.
As he arrived at the Jones residence, Sean felt a mix of emotions: regret for his past actions and hope for a better future. He knew his apology would mean nothing if Andrea didn't forgive him, but he had to try.
The family was having breakfast at the dining table when Sean arrived. Mrs. Jones beamed with happiness at having everyone together again since finding her daughter. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, mingling with the sounds of sizzling bacon.
" Daddy!!" Pearl and Ruby rushed into his arms, giving him a heartfelt hug.
'' Angels, did you miss Daddy?"
"Mhmm. But not as much as mommy did."
"Momma didn't go to bed; she was waiting for your call last night."
"And when did Ruby Jane start telling lies?" Andrea scolded Ruby, who pouted her lips and placed her little hands on her waist. "I'm telling the truth"
" Fine. Fine. Come on, babies, let Grandma run you a bath quickly." Mrs. Jones took Pearl and Ruby with her upstairs.
Mr. Jones and Jacob also excused them. Andrea, who noticed everyone's conduct, also got up to leave, but Sean hastily got hold of her hand.
"Please, Andrea, hear me out."
"Okay, you have five minutes to talk."
"Andrea, my love, I'm so sorry for my behavior toward you. It was selfish and thoughtless of me. I'm ready to do as you please as long as it makes you happy."
Andrea stared at him quietly for a while, which got Sean restless. "Would she say no to me?" He thought this to himself inwardly.
"I hate the fact that I can't get mad at you or even stop loving you, no matter how hard I try." Andrea choked on her words as she sobbed loudly in his arms.
"My love, I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I'm such a fool for making you shed these precious tears. You can punish me in whatever way you want, and I promise never to complain. Sean wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.
"You promise?"
"Yes, I assure you. Please, baby, come back home with me. I can't have us spend another day apart. Every second without you feels like decades to me; I don't want you to ever leave my sight again."
"I love you so much, Sean. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and the kids."
"Me too." Sean hugged her again, and her sweet scent went straight into his nostril, and that was all it took to make him happy and relaxed.
Jacob got out of his hiding place, where he had been watching their romance all along, and drew nearer to them. He cleared his throat slightly, trying to get their attention.
"Sean, I'd like to speak to you for a bit."
"Sure," he nodded.
"Let's talk in my sturdy voice. Andrea, please tell the maid to get us something to drink in the study." Jacob instructed her and left with Sean. Andrea didn't know if the sickness had gotten to her brain or if she was seeing everything right.
"Are these two getting along all of a sudden?" Did they smile at each other, or was I just hallucinating?" Andrea said this inwardly as she went to look for the maid.
......
"Megan has been acting crazy, and I was shocked. She approached me yesterday and tried to take advances. What does she really want?"
" Right? She had been stalking Elena for days until we got a TRO filed against her. We should stay on a close watch; we don't know that psychopath's next move. She might try to harm anyone dear to us."
"Not on my watch." Sean said confidently that he had a spy who was always on the watch.
They heard a knock on the door, and Andrea came in with two glasses of orange juice on a tray. She had purposely brought it herself to see what those two were up to.
"Why are you bringing them yourself? The doctor told you not to stress about your condition." Sean scolded her and took the tray from her.
Andrea pouted her lips. "Why are you scolding me?"
"I know you came here just so you could eavesdrop on our conversation," Jacob stated bluntly.
Andrea itched her scalp. "Of course not; I couldn't find the maid, and I didn't want to keep young master orders waiting."
"You are finally in the mood to joke? That's good. You're no longer moody because your man is here."
"Hey, firstly, Sean scolded me, and now you are teasing me. You guys carry on; I'm leaving already." Andrea's cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
After she left, she smiled brightly, humming a happy tone as she walked down the stairs.
As Ruby descended the stairs, her mother caught her before she could tumble down. Ruby burst into tears, clutching her red-dened toe. Andrea winced at the sight and clicked her tongue in dismay. "Oh no! Mommy, it hurts!" Ruby wailed.
"Andrea gently rubbed Ruby's toe, trying to soothe the pain. "I told you to stop running on the stairs countless times, didn't I? Where are your shoes, little miss?"
Ruby sniffled and nodded glumly as her mother carried her down to the couch. As they sat together, Andrea spoke softly. "You're the big sister, right? Big girls don't cry."
Ruby looked up at her mother with tear-stained eyes and nodded again. "Mommy, why do you look happy?"
Just then, Andrea mentioned the unexpected news: "Your father and uncle are finally getting along after all these years. They were able to resolve their misunderstanding from decades ago."
Ruby's gaze drifted off, unclear what this meant. But she knew better than to ask questions. After a pause, Andrea asked softly, "Do you want to go play?"
Ruby blinked innocently and rose from the couch. As she skipped away, Andrea called after her, "Baby, be careful out there."
