Chapter 132: Chapter 132
Elena's words got stuck in her throat like a lump; she swallowed hard and proceeded into the room. She looked around, unsure of what to do next, and her gaze fell on the couch beside the glass door leading to the balcony.
She sat down, her palms on her thighs, and shortly after, she heard a knock on the door. The maid greeted her, and Elena stepped aside for her to come in; she dropped all sorts of products onto the bed before leaving.
After making sure she was gone, Elena went through the stuff the maid had brought. They were a pair of pink lingerie pajamas, a camisole sleeveless top, and matching shorts made of thin fabric. There was also a bottle of body wash, shampoo, a brand-new toothbrush, mouthwash, toothpaste, and lastly, a pack of condoms.
Elena's ear turned red, and she couldn't believe her eyes. What did Mrs. Jones think of her relationship with Jacob? That they might have reached that stage? She picked up the condom and wondered where to keep it; she didn't know how she would start explaining the situation to Jacob if he were to see it.
What if he had ill intentions about her, like the other day when he kissed her and later apologized for it?
She took the condoms and hid them inside the flowerpot on the balcony, knowing he would never figure it out. She sighed in relief and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. Take a shower. Take a shower.

"Simon, are you sure Sean is at the club and Megan is also there?" Jacob asked in a fit of rage as he concentrated on the road in front of him.
Simon answered, answered, "I'm 100 percent sure of what I'm saying, boss."
"Good."Good." Jacob hung up immediately, and a devilish smile appeared on his face. Today he was going to expose Sean for his true nature for everyone to see.
, He couldn't believe he was still in the mood to cheat with that slut, Megan, after the condition he put his sister in. The thought alone made his blood boil. He He stepped on the accelerator, making the car move at very high speed.
At the same time, at the bar, Sean had already downed the bottles of whisky and was on his third drink when Megan walked up to him with a sinister smirk on her face.
" Tsk! Tsk! What a mess!" Megan said, sitting next to him on the couch. "Do you need company? I can keep up with you," she said in a pleased tone.
"Megan, you bitch! What the fuck are you doing here? You are just jinxed, and I have had enough bad luck for one day. day. Don't add to it. it."
"You mean to say I'm jinxed? Tell me, what more am I? At least I'm not suffering from an illness," Megan said, and she and she burst out laughing.
"How dare you!" Sean raised his voice at her. He began to wonder how Megan got to find out Andrea was ill.
"Relax. Relax. I know you are going through tough times right now. Soon you'll become a widower, and your poor kids will be orphans. It must be hard on you to handle all this on your own.own. Just look at me. me. I can be a good stepmother to your kids and a wife who can satisfy your sexual needs. needs."
"And in no time, you'd forget about that deadbeat wife of yours."
Before her fingers could graze his chest, Sean grabbed her hand and squeezed it so tightly that she heard a cracking sound as if her bones were breaking. Tears scalded her cheeks as she strained against his grip, desperate to free herself from his crushing hold.
Trembling with rage, Sean's voice dropped to a deadly whisper: 'If you don't get out of my sight this instant, I'll kill you.'" He said that and released his grip on her hand.
"You think your stupid threats scare me. What could you do years ago when I made Jacob think something was going on between us while I was having an affair with Nelson?? I ruined your friendship, and to date, Jacob hates you more than anything on earth."
"You know what? At first I felt guilty, but now I feel glad I did it," she said while groaning in pain.
''Who the hell do you think you are, Sean Wilson?? You always felt too proud and cold towards others except Jacob because you felt he was the only one who befitted your status."
Sean lost it and threw the glass of liquor at her; luckily, Megan dodged on time. She could have been lying dead on the floor if she had reacted a second later. At this moment, she knew Sean wasn't making an empty threat, and he was no longer in his right state of mind.
Her body grew cold, and she finally calmed down. She remained silient and slowly stepped back from him, and suddenly an icy voice called out to her, causing her whole body to tremble in fear. "Megan!!!"
Sean and Megan turned around, and Jacob took big strides towards them. "Wow! Finally, I get to learn the truth," he clapped his hands as he cackled loudly.
"What are you talking about?" Megan tried to act clueless, but she knew Jacob already knew the truth, and it was useless to pretend at this point.
" Yes! I was never in an affair with Sean; he caught me in the janitor's closet making out with Nelson. I was attracted to him because he was the leader of the basketball team. Sean threatened to tell you with the picture he took as evidence, then luckily I sighted you coming towards the janitor's room, so I kissed Sean to make you feel he betrayed you to save my reputation, but yet you didn't accept me back after I begged you."
Jacob's chest rose, and he fell with heavy breath; he couldn't remember the last time he got this angry in his life. So you made me believe Sean had betrayed me all these years!" he said, emphasizing each word.
Megan remained silent, her head bowed in shame. "Answer me!" Jacob thundered, his anger boiling over as he seized her by the throat and slammed her against the nearby wall.
Sean sprang up, rushing to intervene, and pulled Jacob away from Megan. "Just let her go! She's not worth sinning for!"
Megan coughed violently, her neck already reddening as she rubbed the affected area. She snatched her bag from the floor and took off running.
Jacob's face fell as he stared at Sean, his embarrassment plain on his face. He was at a loss for words, unable to believe he'd lashed out at Sean without cause. He couldn't help but think about all the times Sean had tried to reason with him, only to be ignored. He recalled the one time Sean had shown him evidence on his phone and how he'd destroyed it in a fit of rage, severing their ties without a second thought.
"I'm glad you know the truth now." Sean dropped a stack of cash on the table and walked out of the place.
Jacob felt his feet glued to the ground; he didn't know if an apology would do or change a thing, given the way he had constantly gotten into a competition with Sean and how he had multiple times tried to destroy his business image in the past.
He arrived home late in deep thought. He unlocked the door to his bedroom and found Elena curled up on the little couch in his room like a worm. He was shocked and confused all at the same time; he thought she had gotten home a long time ago.
''Why are you sleeping on the couch, Lena?" Jacob felt his anger immediately dissipate. He gently lifted her into his arms and placed her on the bed instead. He grabbed the quilt, and as he was about to cover her up with it, his eyes traveled to her fair, smooth, exposed thighs, and he felt like a pervert for staring at it lustfully.
Jacob discarded the crazy thoughts in his head and covered her up like a gentleman. He went into the bathroom and took a quick shower; by the time he came out, Elena was already up.
"Why are you up? Did I perhaps disturb your sleep?"
"Why am I on the bed? I was sleeping on the couch a minute ago. Did you take me to your bed?"
"I'm sure it wasn't comfy on the couch, and the bed is big enough to accommodate the both of us, so I thought it'd be better if we shared."
Elena felt naked and shy under his gaze, her bare skin prickling with awareness as she stood before him without a bra, her nipples visible through the thin fabric due to her bust size. She felt even more uncomfortable.
"You should go back to sleep."
"Is everything okay? Why did you come back home late?"
"Yeah, everything's fine," Jacob answered dryly, his tone in stark contrast to the warmth he'd shown earlier. He pulled another quilt from the closet and lay down beside Elena, switching off the nightstand lamp with a soft click.
The sudden darkness enveloped them, but Elena's eyes adjusted slowly, and she could make out the silhouette of Jacob's face across from hers. She sensed he was still awake, his eyes fixed on hers, and something was clearly bothering him.
