“ What are you doing here?” She asked and Mandy turned to her. “ Oh hi Baby, You are here. I knew it” Mandy said smiling. “ What do you want here?” Vanessa who just came out from the room asked and Mandy turned to her too. “ It’s Mara’s Mum, I’m so happy to see you guys here” Mandy said Excitedly..” What do you want here?” Vanessa repeated, she looked at Derek who was looking at Mandy confusingly. “ Is this the friend you are talking about?” She Asked him and he nodded his head. “ Yes, She said she’s your friend” Derek said and Vanessa Chuckled.
“ Look at her very well, does she look like the person I would have as a friend?” She asked and Derek nodded his head. “ No, she doesn’t. Looking at her, I don’t think you’re anywhere closer to her class” He said and Mandy giggled. “ You have the eyes, you’re handsome” Mandy said to Derek and he smiled. “ Thank you, you’re so beautiful” He said. Vanessa Chuckled, She rolled her eyes and hit him on the arm. “ That’s Mandy” she said to him and his jaw dropped. “ Mandy, the Mandy you told me about?” He asked and Vanessa nodded her head.
“ Wow, I can’t believe you’ve been gossiping about me with others” Mandy shook her head “ Tell me what you are doing here and leave, Vanessa said to Mandy and she stood up. “ You left the house without saying Goodbye, and oh Mara is also here” Mandy teased. “ I don’t know what you’re doing here but thank you for bringing back my daughter to me” Vanessa said and Derek looked at her. “ Wait, is this the Mandy that we entered her room that day?” Derek asked and Vanessa Chuckled. “ Which Mandy do you know apart from her?” She asked him.
“ Oh My God! It’s just that she’d changed a lot. She looks more prettier and younger” Derek said and Mandy smiled. “ I know right, I was surprised when you didn’t even recognize me. Anyways, I’m so glad I worked out on myself” She smiled. “ And you don’t have to thank me for what I don’t know about. I wasn’t the one that took your Mara” Mandy said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ Don’t play innocent, I know it’s you” She said. “ Seriously it wasn’t Me, I’m not an Evil person to Kidnap a little girl for my selfish interest. You should be asking me if I know Who kidnaped her instead of Accusing me” Mandy said walking around the room.
“ Do you think I’ll believe whatever you would say? Don’t even think about that. As far as I know, you are the one that kidnaped my Daughter. Just go, we don’t want you here” Vanessa said and Mandy sighed. “ Alright then, I’ll leave” She picked up her bag to leave but Derek stopped her. “ What is this you are doing?” Vanessa asked him Angrily. “ Who Are you suspecting?” He asked her and she Chuckled. “ Vanessa doesn’t want to hear anything about it so, Just forget” She said and he quickly grab her hand. “ Please Tell us” He pleaded. “ Derek, What do you think you’re doing? Let her go” She Said to him but he ignored her.
“ Please tell me” Derek pleaded with Mandy. “ Okay fine, I’ll tell you” She sat down on the couch and Derek sat beside her so that she wouldn’t change her mind. “ I…” She was interrupted by the knock from the Door. Derek excused himself and went to open the door. Immediately he opened the door, Mandy’s Dad walked in. “ Daddy?” Mandy Stood up. “ Mandy, what are you doing here?” He asked her. Vanessa and Derek exchanged glances, they were surprised when Mandy called him Daddy. “ He’s your Daddy?” Derek asked Confusingly.
“ Yes” Mandy said and turned to her Dad “ What are you doing here?” She asked him and he chuckled. “ I should be asking you that question, you told me you won’t come to this house now till later in the day. You lied to me” Mandy scoffed. “ Whatever” She said and sat down on the couch again. “ What brings you here again, Mandy’s Dad?” Vanessa sked leaning on the wall with her arms folded. “ I came back here for the same reason. Here” He brought out the cheque and Gave it to Derek. “ It’s Double of what was given to you yesterday, This will be enough for you I guess” He said and Derek moved closer to Vanessa.
“ No, it’s not” Vanessa said and Derek raised a brow surprisingly. “ Are you kidding me? That’s not enough?” Mandy’s Dad said Surprisingly. “ What’s that?” Mandy took the cheque from Derek and looked at Vanessa. “ You must be out of it. This isn’t enough?” She asked surprisingly. “ Yes it’s not enough” Vanessa said and she laughed. “ Have you ever seen this type of money in your life? This will feed your generations. Just take it and stop creating a scene” Mandy Handed it back to Derek and Chuckled. “ Tell your Mum to take the money, She can make your life easier for you with that Money” Mandy said and sighed.
“ I’ve never seen a girl as Arrogant as you, You shouldn’t miss this opportunity because it only comes ones” Mandy said and sat down on the handle of the couch. “ I’m not interested in your Money, just leave and never return again” Vanessa said and Derek sighed. “ Daddy, Just go. Tell Grandma she isn’t interested in the Money” Mandy aid to her Dad Worriedly. “ What do you mean, are you now taking the Enemy side?” He asked and Mandy Chuckled. “ Vanessa isn’t the Enemy” She said Rolling her eyes. “ Then who is the enemy?” He asked her and Mandy sighed. “ Just go Daddy, I’ll talk to Grandma when I go visit her later” She said and He looked at Vanessa.
