“ Mother won’t take it easy with you, just accept the Money and gift it to someone else if you don’t want it” He said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ I said I’m not interested, Just go. Take it back to her, Warn Alfred not to disturb our lives again. I don’t have anything to do with him after all” She said and He looked at Mandy. “ Let’s Go” He said. “ you Can go ahead, I came with my Car and I still have an unfinished business here” She said looking at Vanessa. “ What Business?” Her Dad asked her. “ It’s between me and Vanessa” Mandy said Smiling. “ Alright then I’ll be going, Make sure none of you do anything to my Daughter” He warned them before leaving.
Immediately he left, Derek locked the Door to avoid any disturbances again. He sat beside Mandy on the Couch and held her hand.
“ Now tell me” He said. Mandy looked at Vanessa, She looked at Mara who was sitting on a chair looking at her and shook her head. “ What I did was bad and I regret it” She said sadly. “ Yes you should regret it” Vanessa said and Mandy looked at her. “ I wasn’t the one that kidnaped Mara but I Contributed to it. Just listen to what I’m about to say, I know you will blame me but I did that out of jealousy” Vanessa Chuckled, she turned to leave but Derek stopped her. “ Let’s listen to her” He Pleaded and Vanessa stopped.
“ Okay, I’m listening but you should make it fast because I have a lot of things to do here” She Said and Mandy nodded her head. “ I’ve Been in love with Alfred ever since I was growing up, I love him much more than I love myself but Alfred doesn’t love me. I was so mad and heartbroken when I found out you live in his house and I was much mad when I found out Mara was his child. I couldn’t think of a way to send you two away from him and so I…I..” She looked Mara and tears started dropping from Her eyes. “ You what? You kidnaped her?” Vanessa Said and Mandy nodded her head.
“ No, I already told you that I wasn’t the one” She said Sobbing..” Then what did you do?” Derek asked her. “ I.. I drugged their foods and they fell asleep, that was when they took Mara. I saw the person that took her from her room but I won’t tell you, I can only tell you the person that gave them the task” Mandy said Cleaning her tears. “ Lier!” Vanessa shouted at her. “ Allow her to finish and stop shouting at her” Derek said looking at Vanessa, he wasn’t Happy with Heat Vanessa was doing to Mandy.. “ It was Kiara that gave them the task” Mandy said and They exchanged glances.
“ Kiara, How? Alfred said She’s left the city and had promised him she would never disturb his life again” Vanessa said and Mandy chuckled. “ I know Kiara more than you do, she’s worse than me when it comes to Alfred. Please forgive me for what I’ve done” Mandy pleaded. “ You contributed to that and you want me to Forgive you? Never!” Vanessa yelled and Entered her room. “ Please help plead with her to forgive me” She said to Derek. “ I didn’t know they would use that opportunity to Kidnap little Mara, I only did that to teach Vanessa a lesson” She sobbed.
Derek wasn’t happy with what Mandy done to Vanessa and Mara but he felt pity for her, he was glad that Mandy confessed to them. He watched her sobbed on her palms and shook his head.
“ It’s Okay Mandy, Don’t cry” He patted her back. “ I don’t know if Vanessa would forgive me but I feel so happy after telling her what I did” Mandy looked at Mara who was looking at her innocently. “ I’m Sorry little Mara, I didn’t mean to hurt you” She said Sadly. Mara moved closer to her, she held her hand and sighed. “ You know I don’t like you right?” Mara asked her and Mandy nodded her head. “ Yes and I know it’s all my fault” Mandy said. “ Good. I don’t like what you did to us, what if something bad Happened it we didn’t open our eyes again, what would you do?” Mara asked and Mandy sniffed. “ I don’t know what I would do but I know I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. I don’t know if the drug have an effect or not, I only did that out of jealousy. I’m sorry” she apologized.
“ Little Mara is a nice girl so I forgive you” Mara said smiling. “ Really? You forgive me? Thank you so much little Mara, I love you so much” Mandy hugged Mara. “ Thank you baby, I promise I’ll never repeat that again” Mandy said happily. She cleaned her tears as she hugged Mara. “ Thank you Baby” Derek said to Mara “ She just stole my heart, I think I like her” Mara said and they laughed softly. “ Little Mara, please Tell your Mummy to forgive me” Mandy said sadly and Mara nodded her head. “ Don’t worry , Aunt Mandy I’ll plead with Mummy and she’ll forgive you. Mummy is a nice person”
“ Who’s Hungry?” Derek asked “ I am” Mandy said Smiling “ Me too” Mara said. “ Alright then, I’ll go make Noodles and eggs” He stood up from the Couch to go to the kitchen. “ Uhm Can I use the Bathroom please?” She asked Derek. “ Sure” He said and took her inside his room. “ Sorry but it’s a little messy” Derek said and Mandy smiled. “ It’s Okay” she entered the bathroom while Derek left for the kitchen. As soon as she entered the bathroom, Mandy locked the Door and turned on the Tap on the Wash hand basin.
