“ I know Mara will return, they’ll bring her back” She said and he nodded his head. “ Yes I know that too. Do you want to eat your food here while you wait for her?” He asked and she nodded her head. Derek went inside the room , he carried the plate of Noodles and a juice and came out of the house. “ Here, make sure you eat everything” She took it from him and started eating.
“ I’ve missed your food a lot” Vanessa Said and he smiled. “ Really, I know. I’m the best chef ever” They both laughed. “ It’s good seeing you laugh again” Derek said. They stayed outside for hours but no sign of Mara, It was already late in the night and everywhere was so Cold. “ Vanessa, let’s Go inside” Derek said standing up. “ But what if She comes back after we went Inside?” She asked him and he smiled. “ I don’t think they’ll bring her back Today, She will come back to you tomorrow” He persuaded her but Vanessa wouldn’t listen. He kept on and on and at last, she followed him inside the house.

Next morning, Alfred came out of his room, He was so sorry for what he said to Vanessa the previous day and he wanted to apologize to her. But when he opened her room, Vanessa was nowhere to be found, he went down the stairs and saw Mary moping the tiles.
“ Have you seen Vanessa?” He asked and Mary sighed. “ She left” She said but Alfred didn’t understand what she meant by that. “ What do you mean?” He asked her. “ She.. she left the house yesterday with her bags” Mary said. “ Why didn’t any of you stopped her?” He asked her in anger and Mary knelt on the floor. “ We tried to but… But ma’am Mandy stopped us. Please forgive me” She pleaded. “ One of you would have come to me, oh my God. What have I done!” He turned around and saw Mandy coming down the stairs, beaming with smile.
“ Good morning Alfred, the house is so peaceful and I love it” He grabbed her wrist tightly “ Where’s Mara!” She tried to free herself but he was stronger than her. “ Release me, I already told you that I don’t know” She cried in pain. “ Tell me where Mara is or else!” He yelled at her. “ Stop yelling at me, I don’t know where she is” Alfred Released her hand. “ Vanessa has already left and there’s nothing you could do about it!” She said rubbing her aching wrist. “ She’s the woman I love , the woman I want to marry. Vanessa will return back to this house either you like it or not, you are the one that will leave my house for me!” He barked at her.
“ Are you serious right now?” She cried. “ I’ll report you to Grandma since you don’t want to leave that b***” Mandy threatened and Alfred Chuckled. “ I don’t care who you are going to tell, Go to hell!” He pushed her out of his way and left the house. Alfred drove out of the house to go look for Vanessa as there’s one place in his mind.
He drove inside the estate, parked the car and started knocking on the door. He called Vanessa’s name as he knocked on the door and Derek opened it.
“ Where’s Vanessa?” He asked and Derek raised a brow. “ Vanessa? Isn’t she at home?” He asked Alfred. “ No, she left home yesterday. Isn’t she here?” He asked. “ Vanessa left home? Oh my God, what were you doing by then. She didn’t come here” Derek pretended to be alarmed. “ I know Vanessa is in there, stop pretending and call her for me” Alfred said but Derek wouldn’t. “ Vanessa isn’t here, you can go check for yourself” He shifted but Alfred didn’t move. “ Please let me Know if you find her” He gave Derek his Card and left quickly.
Derek closed the door, he went back inside and burst in to Laughter. Vanessa was sitting on the sofa, she heard everything they were saying and she Chuckled.
“ Who does he think he is to come look for me?” She scoffed. “ You should have seen his face, Wow! That guy really is in love with you” He teased her. “ Stop it Derek, I don’t love him. I was doing that for Mara but I won’t ever do that again in my life” She promised. “ Alright, you should stay inside the house for now. He might come back again and find you outside if you go” Derek said and Vanessa nodded her head. She knew he might Forced her in his car and took her back to that house if he found her outside.

A day passed by but there wasn’t any sign of Mara, Vanessa became so worried. She couldn’t sleep again and she couldn’t eat , all she did was cry.
“ Don’t worry Vanessa, Mara will return” Derek said consoling her but she was crying. “ Derek, It’s already been three days since I left that house but Mara isn’t here” She cried. “ Don’t cry, I’m sure Mara will come back today or tomorrow” He assured her. “ I want to see her today” Vanessa cried. A knock came on the door and Derek stood up, he sighed and opened the door.
“ Who….” He paused. “ Mara! It’s Mara!” He carried Mara up and Vanessa ran to them. “ Baby, you are back!” She took Mara from Derek and hugged her tightly. “ I missed you so much Baby” Vanessa cried. Derek looked outside, he saw a car driving out of the estate with full speed. “ I told you they’ll bring her back to you” Derek said excitedly. “ Mummy, I missed you so much” Mara started crying. “ I missed you too baby” Derek locked the door,
