“ And who told you Mandy is behind this? Your suppose Boyfriend I think” He Snapped. “ wow! Stop pretending you don’t know she’s behind this. I’ve been observing you all this while, you are always going to her room. What are you doing there? Are you having an affair with her or you are interrogating her?” Vanessa asked and he became speechless, he didn’t know Vanessa Was observing him all those while he was going to Mandy. “ Mandy is my sister and I have the right to go to her room” He said and she Laughed. “ But why did you start going to her room when Since Mara got missing? You know what, I’m so fed up already. Tell your sister to give me my daughter and we’ll be out of your lives. You don’t deserve us, I made a mistake by agreeing to stay with you” Vanessa said in tears and left the room Angrily.
“ You can go wherever you want to go I don’t care!” He Said after her. Vanessa ran to the room, she locked herself in and started crying.

“ This is becoming serious” Mary said to The Assistant, they were all in the sitting room when they started hearing Alfred’s and Vanessa’s argument. “ I swear this is getting bad. Oh my God” Bella exclaimed. “ That’s what you get when you are so desperate for money” The Assistant said and they all looked at him. He didn’t show any remorse ever since Mara went missing, he didn’t even show concern for Vanessa who was so hopeless but rather still, he was blaming her.
“ Why would you say that? Ma’am Vanessa isn’t that type of a person. Can’t you see that she was forced to come live here by the Boss? You should know better than us because you are his Assistant” Bella said and the Assistant smiled. “ Yes you’re right but, I don’t think….” Mary interrupted him. “ Stop blaming her, I’m already feeling bad for her” She left the sitting room sadly. The Assistant followed her leaving Bella with Mona. Bella looked at Mona, she wanted to go away like always but Bella was so quick and caught her wrist.
“ Why are you always running away? There’s something you are Hiding and you must tell me now” Bella said but Mona Nodded her head. “ No, I won’t tell you anything, I don’t know anything” She was about to cry when Mandy came in. “ What do you think you are doing? Bullying my maid behind my back? Or are you also interrogating her?” Bella quickly Released Mona’s hand, she apologized to Mandy and Hurried to their Quarters. “ And you” Mandy pointed at Mona. “ What do you think you are doing? If you breath a word to anyone, I’ll make sure you don’t see the light of the day again” She threatened.
“ I’m Sorry Ma’am Mandy, I won’t tell anyone I promise” Mona pleaded. “ And you better do something about yourself, stop letting them suspect you. I shouldn’t have given you the task, you’ll just spoil everything for me” Mandy Sighed and sat down on the sofa. “ Go bring me juice” She said and Mona left for the kitchen.
Minutes later, Vanessa came out of the room with her bags. Mandy stood up immediately She came down the stairs.
“ Where are you going?” She asked Vanessa who was sobbing. “ I’m leaving, bring Mara to me” She said and Mandy Scoffed. “ I don’t know what you are talking about but, it’s a good thing you are leaving. Please do not return back to this house again” Mandy pleaded. Bella and Mary came out of the kitchen, they tried to stop Vanessa from leaving But Mandy threatened them and so, they withdraw. Vanessa left, Mandy became so happy that she ran to her room and started dancing around in excitement.

Derek was confused when he opened the door and found Vanessa with her bags, he led her Inside the house and closed the door.
“ What Happened, why did you leave?” He asked but Vanessa was in tears. “ Vanessa please talk to me, What about Mara?” He asked worriedly. “ I.. I don’t know, I don’t want to live in that house again. He didn’t believe me when I said Mara is with Mandy” She cried. “ But you shouldn’t have leave” Derek said worriedly and Vanessa cleaned her face. “ Whoever took Mara will bring her to me if he or she found out I left the house. I just want my daughter back, I don’t love Alfred Andi don’t want to live in his house ever again” She said and Derek nodded his head. “ You are right Vanessa, let’s wait and see what will happen next. I’m sure the person that took Mara will bring her back here” He nodded his head and smiled.
“ Mara will return” She Looked at Derek “ I’m sorry for coming here, I don’t know where else to go” She Said and he smiled. “ Don’t worry Vanessa, you can always come here” He said smiling. “ Are you hungry? I’ll go prepare something for you” He offered but Vanessa didn’t have appetite to eat anything. “ You have to eat something” Derek left her in the sitting room and went inside the kitchen to cook for her.
Few minutes later, Derek came out from the kitchen holding a plate of Noodles but Vanessa wasn’t in the sitting room. He checked his room , her room but she wasn’t there and he went out of the house. Vanessa was sitting on the steps looking around, She Wanted to know who would bring Mara back to her because she had the feelings that Mara would be back soon.
“ What are you doing outside? It’s cold out here” Derek said and Vanessa sighed. “ I want to know who will bring Mara back” She said looking around. Derek sat beside her, he wrapped his arms on her shoulder and Vanessa smiled.
