“ Vanessa, calm down. Do not cry again, We’ll surely get Mara back from her. All we have to do is to keep an eye on her” Derek said and Vanessa nodded her head. “ I agree with you, I don’t even trust her” She sighed. “ Let’s go” Vanessa said and they left the room. They went back to the sitting room and Derek sat on the sofa. “ Do you need anything?” She asked him. “ Just water please” He said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ Okay” She entered the kitchen, Bella and Mary were there. They watched Vanessa as she brought out a bottle of water from the fridge, she took one glass cup from the rack and left the kitchen.
“ Oh poor thing, I Really feel for her” Bella said sadly. “ Yes I feel for her too, whoever did this to her will never find peace” Mary said sadly too. “ I hope so too. But why would someone Kidnap a little girl? Doesn’t he or she have a heart? Mara doesn’t know anything” Bella sighed. “ But aren’t you suspecting Mandy?” Mary asked her and she shushed her. “ Keep your voice down, I’m suspecting her too. But do you think Mandy could do this sort of thing?” Bella asked. “ You don’t know Mandy, she’s a cruel being and can do anything just to make Vanessa get out of the Boss’s life. I just hope she didn’t do anything to Mara” Mary Sighed Worriedly.
“ Oh God, if only there’s a way to Help Vanessa I would have done that. Do you think Mona might know something?” Bella asked Mary who was rinsing a plate. “ Of course yes, Don’t you see how she’s been behaving lately? I know Mona is hiding something. Should we tell The Boss about it?” Mary asked Bella. “ I don’t think we should tell anyone, we might end up losing our jobs” Bella said and Mary raised a brow. “ but we didn’t do anything bad, we are only trying to help” She Defended. “ I know, what if they found out Mandy doesn’t have a hand in this? It will cost us our jobs and Mandy will make our lives hell” Bella said in fears. “ You are right Bella but” Mary sighed. “ Oh God”
Mona Entered the kitchen, their eyes turned to her as she picked up a plate from the rack. Mona was so nervous as they refused to take their eyes from her, She looked at them and Hurried out of the kitchen.
“ I don’t trust this girl” Mary said and Bella agreed with her. “ I don’t even like her from the Start, She’s so cool to my liking” Bella shook her head and they continued what they were doing before Mona came in.

Alfred returned home, He saw Derek in the sitting room on the same chair with Vanessa and he didn’t like it. Vanessa stood up immediately he entered, She went closer to him to know if there’s news about Mara.
“ Any News?” She asked him and he sighed. “ Not yet” He said Sadly, he looked at Derek who was on his feet. Derek greeted him but Alfred answered coldly and went to his room. “ Vanessa, please call me when there’s Any News about her” Derek said and Vanessa turned to him. “ Are you leaving?” She ked him and he nodded his head. “ Yes, please take care of yourself. You don’t look Good, maybe you should go see a doctor” He said. Vanessa smiled, She held his hand “ I’m Okay, don’t worry about me” She said and he sighed pitifully. “ I’ll call you later” He pecked her on the cheek and left the house
Vanessa followed Alfred to his room, he was pacing around when she entered and he turned to the her.
“ I think I found who took Mara” Vanessa said quickly. “ Who?” Alfred asked her and she closed the door. “ Mandy, I’m suspecting Mandy” She said. “ Mandy, She won’t do such thing” Alfred said and Vanessa raised a brow surprisingly. “ Why did you said that? Mandy threatened to make our lives a living hell if we continue staying here and…..” He cut her off. “ I said it isn’t Mandy” Alfred said in Anger. “ Why are you getting Angry?” She asked him and he Chuckled. “ What was he doing here?” He asked sitting down on the bed. “ Who?” Vanessa asked and he looked at her. “ Him, That guy” Alfred said “ Oh Derek, he…” He interrupted her.
“ What was he doing here? I don’t care who he is” Alfred snapped. “ What’s wrong? It’s Derek, you know Derek. He came to check up on me” Vanessa said Surprisingly. “ What brought him here? He should have called you and ask not for him to come here” Alfred Said and Vanessa became confused. Derek was her childhood friend and there’s no reason why he shouldn’t come where she is. “ He’s my friend and he can go wherever I am” Vanessa said confusingly. “ This is my house, tell him to stop coming!” He said Angrily. “ What’s wrong with you? I’ve been together with Derek since I was a kid, we grew up in the same orphanage” She said and Alfred stood up.
“ This is my last warning, I don’t want to see him in my house again!” He yelled at her. “ How dare you raised your voice at me? Derek will continue coming to this house as long as I am here” She barked at him. “ Oh really? Then that means you are in love with him” Vanessa Chuckled, she couldn’t believe that came from Alfred’s mouth. “ Yes I am in love with him, it will even be great if he marry me. Derek is a kind soul and always finds a way to make me and Mara happy. You call yourself her Dad but you’re ignoring the fact that your cousin is behind all this!” Vanessa shouted at him.
