“ You are interrogating my maid After what I said to you? Are you suspecting me or what?” Mandy asked, she looked at Mona who was shedding tears and hissed. “ And what do you think you are doing?” She yelled at her. “ I…I’m sorry ma’am” Mona apologized. “ Get inside now!!” She commanded and Mona ran inside. “ Stay away from me and my maid” She warned Alfred and returned inside. “ Mandy is surely behind this” Alfred Nodded his head.
Tow days passed by but all search for Mara proved abortive. The house became so silent Asif there were no people living there, Alfred was always outside looking for Mara. Vanessa didn’t know where to go looking for Mara and so she stayed at home crying and praying. Alfred had asked and pleaded with Mandy Several times but Mandy stood on her words, he still didn’t believe her because she was the only person that left and returned home that night.
Vanessa was sitting down on the floor in a crouch position, She was sobbing. If only she knew that would happen to Mara, she wouldn’t have agreed to stay in that house from the first place. Vanessa didn’t Suspect anyone or rather still, she hasn’t suspect anyone yet because she was still in shocked. Mary opened the door and came in Quietly
“ Ma’am, you have a guest” She said and Vanessa raised up her head. She wasn’t expecting anyone but she quickly stood up, she thought it might be someone who found her Daughter and so she ran out of the room. Vanessa saw Derek In the sitting room, her Emotions rose up again and she burst in to tears. Derek Hurried to her, he hugged her and patted her on the back. He also wanted to cry but Men shouldn’t be seen crying.
“ Derek, I can’t find Mara” Vanessa cried. “ How did she left the house, weren’t you in the same room with her?” He asked and Vanessa nodded her head. “ No Derek, that’s the biggest mistake I’ve ever done. I don’t know what came over me to have left Mara slept alone in a room. If only I was there with her, I would have protect her.” She cried. “ Don’t cry Vanessa, we will find Mara” He said “ It has already been Two days Derek, The security man said he didn’t see when Mara was taken out of the house. None of us know why” She cried.
“ None of you, what about The Boss’s cousin you said has moved in to the house? Didn’t she know where Mara is?” Derek asked and Vanessa stopped crying. She hadn’t even got the chance to think about that, Mandy didn’t like Vanessa and Mara and she would do anything to them. “ That Reminds me, I didn’t even think about that” Vanessa said and Derek sighed. “ I’m no saying she’s the one that took Mara but there’s a probability that she have a hand in this” He said and she Nodded her head. “ It’s true, Mandy doesn’t like us staying in this house. Oh my God, why didn’t I think about this?” Vanessa turned to leave but Derek held her back. “ Do not rush this” he said but she wouldn’t listen to him.
“ I don’t know what My Mara is going through now, I just do something fast to save Mara” She went upstairs and Derek had no choice than to Follow her. Mandy was in her room sitting on a chair with just a short and a crop top on, her legs were crossed and Headphone was on her head. Vanessa opened the door, Mandy turned to her and turned off the Volume. “ And who told you to barge in to my room without knocking?” She asked Vanessa who looked so weiry. “ I’m talking to you, have you lost your hearing?” Mandy asked Sternly and Vanessa moved closer to her. “ Mandy, where’s Mara?” She asked. Mandy looked at Derek who just Entered the room and Chuckled.
“ And who do you think you are to entered my room? Servants don’t enter my room so, get out” She said to Derek. “ He’s not a servant, answer my Question” Vanessa said. Mandy turned to her, she hissed and stood up from the chair. “ Vanessa, I’ll say this once and for all. I don’t know where Mara is, You guys should stop disturbing my life!” She Said Angrily. “ Mandy, give me back my daughter please. I’ll leave this house for you and I’ll never let Alfred come close to us again.” She knelt on the floor and held Mandy’s legs. “ Please Mandy” Vanessa pleaded in tears.
“ Wow! The mighty Vanessa is on the floor begging me. Where’s your attitude? I thought you said you aren’t afraid of me, get out of my room now. I need my privacy” Mandy pointed to the door. Derek helped Vanessa up and he looked at Mandy In Anger. “ What did the little girl did to you to deserve this? Release her” Derek said and Mandy laughed. “ Oh my God, look who’s talking. Do you think I’ll get scared by your threats, No. Mandy isn’t Afraid of anyone!” She shouted at him. Vanessa was getting angry, she couldn’t believe Mandy refused to tell her where Mara was even after she had knelt begging her.
“ Mandy, Do you remember your words? You said you will make our lives a living hell if we continue staying here. Isn’t this part of that? You took the little girl because you are so stupid, right? You don’t even know the pain it comes with when your child get lost. Would you be happy as a mother if someone took your child away?” Vanessa asked and Mandy Scoffed. “ I don’t care, just get out of my room. Your daughter isn’t with me and if she’s with me, I won’t bring her out ever!” She said and left the room.
