“ There’s something in your mind, tell me” He said. Vanessa Opened her mouth to talk and the door opened.
Alfred sprang up, he was shocked. Vanessa stood upright looking at both Alfred and the person that just Entered the house.
“ Who are you?” Vanessa asked as Alfred didn’t sat anything. The lady turned to Vanessa, she looked at her from head to toe and looked at Alfred who was dumfounded. “ Who are you?” Vanessa asked again. The lady walked closer to Alfred and hugged him, Vanessa’s heart started beating fast that she couldn’t control it.
“ I missed you so much Baby” The lady said with her head on his chest. She looked at Vanessa whose expression had changed and she smiled. “ My name’s Kiara and I’m his girlfriend” Kiara said arrogantly. “ And you, who are you?” Kiara asked Vanessa, Vanessa looked at Alfred, she looked at Kiara and ran upstairs.

Vanessa entered the room, she closed the door and held her chest. She sat down on the beat patting her chest and took in a deep breath.
“ Why is my heart beating this way?” She cleared her throat trying to calm her heart but it didn’t work. “ What’s happening to me?” Tears started dropping from her eyes and age Chuckled. “ What is this?” She touched her face and burst in to laughter. “ What’s all this? Why am I over reacting? I’m not even in love with him, I should be happy that his girlfriend is back and he will free me and Mara” Vanessa took in a deep breath again and she cleaned the tears on her face.
“ Mummy, who is that lady?” Mara asked walking inside the room, Vanessa was startled, she didn’t know when Mara entered the room. “ Hey baby, You scared me” She said and Mara sighed. “ Mummy, who is she?” She repeated. “ Who?” Vanessa asked pretending she has no idea who Mara was talking about. Mara sat on the bed and folded her arms “ Mummy, a lady is in the sitting room and I saw her hugging Daddy and I don’t like it” She said. Vanessa Chuckled, she stood up from the bed and went to the mirror.
“ And why are you angry?” She asked. “ Because I don’t like her” Mara stood from the bed and held Vanessa’s hand. “ Mummy, you have to do something about it” Mara pleaded. “ I don’t want to lose my Daddy to someone else. She’s not even as pretty as you are” Mara said. Vanessa Scoffed, she fling her hand from Mara’s “ Its None of my Business , Go back to your room and stay there. Don’t even try to come out or do anything. I know you” She said and Mara left the room sadly.
“ I’m sorry baby, there’s nothing I can do” Vanessa said when Mara was out of the room. “ But what will happen to the investigation now that his girlfriend is here? Oh my God” Vanessa held her forehead. “ Wait a minute, is that his ex girlfriend?” She Hurried out of the room, walked passed Alfred and Kiara who were sitting on the same sofa in the sitting room and entered the kitchen. Bella and Mary were gossiping when she entered and the stopped.
“ No continue” Vanessa said. “ Is that his ex girlfriend?” She asked them. “ Yes ma’am, That’s Ma’am Kiara” Bella said and Vanessa Chuckled. “ The Model , right?” She asked and they nodded their heads. “ Wow, I….” She paused when she heard Voices from the sitting room. “ Isn’t that…. Oh not now!” She rushed out of the kitchen and the girls followed her.
Mara was dragging Kiara’s hair and Alfred was trying to stop her but she was so agile.
“ Baby, stop” Alfred said but Mara wouldn’t stop. “ Release my hair you daughter of a ****” Kiara yelled in pain. “ I won’t, stay away from my Daddy. Go back to where you came from!” Mara yelled back. Vanessa was Confused, she stood in a spot not knowing what to do. “ Stop her” Alfred said to Vanessa when he couldn’t stop Mara. Vanessa sighed, she Hurried to Mara and grabbed her. “ Let me go!” She Screamed. “ Stop doing that” Vanessa said Taking Mara away from Kiara who was on the floor in pains.
“ Whose child is that? She lack manners. Your Mum didn’t raise you well!!” She Screamed at Mara who was trying to free herself from Vanessa. Kiara turned to Mary and Bella who were standing there. “ Who released that Animal!!!” She yelled. Those words hurt Vanessa , she dropped Mara and Bella quickly grabbed Mara. “ my Daughter is not an Animal!” Vanessa yelled at her in Anger. “ Oh she’s your Daughter? Teach her some manners!’ Kiara yelled back. She picked up her bag and stormed out of the house.
Vanessa took Mara from Bella, she looked at Alfred angrily and Flounced away. She entered the room and locked the door.
“ How dare she call my daughter an Animal? I’ll teach her a lesson” Vanessa said Angrily. “ I’ll teach her a lesson too” Mara said. Vanessa turned to her, she Chuckled and grabbed her ears. “ didn’t I told you not to cause anything?” She scolded. “ I’m sorry Mummy, it hurts” She said holding Vanessa’s wrist. “ Why won’t you listen to me?” Vanessa asked still holding Mara’s ears. “ I’m sorry Mum” Mara started crying and Vanessa Released her. “ I hate her! I hate the fact that she was with my Daddy, I don’t like her” Mara cried. Vanessa sighed, she knelt on the floor and hugged Mara.
“ It’s Okay Baby, Don’t cry” She patted her back gently. “ I don’t want to see her here again, tell Daddy to stop her from coming here” Mara cried. “ It’s okay Baby, I don’t think there’s something we could do about it, She’s Your Daddy’s girlfriend” Vanessa said Sadly. “ I don’t like her” Mara cried.
