Something nagged in her heart when Ashley mentioned that she had saved Damien's life once. It meant that Damien would hold a responsibility and special place for her in his heart. Viona's wolf purred in dissatisfaction, hated to be heard that someone had done so much for their mate.

Before she could trail Damien's back, she noticed the way Ashley cracked a smile of mockery at her. Viona ignored her provocation and followed Damien upstairs.

Inside the room, Damien settled himself down on the bed with much softer expression. His expression showed that he wasn't much bothered about other leaving the pack.

Stepping out from her worned clothes, Viona laid down beside him and asked after taking a bite from her lips,

" Damien..can I ask you something?"

Damien tilted his head aside from his open book and gave her a soft smile permitting,

" Of course. What is it, love?"

Viona scooted closer, nuzzled her nose in his arms and asked with a pout,

" Earlier Ashley claimed that she is your savoir? When did this happen? I meant that what happened exactly?"

A dark layer flashed across his eyes when the incident was mentioned. He nearly forgot about that horrible nightmare. Dropping the book beside her headside, he pulled her closer until her head rested on her thigh and he could feel her warmth.

Damien kept his explaination short and clear. He spoke running his fingers between her messy locks,

" We were attacked a decade ago by vampires. They wanted control over Rainford but we didn't want to stay them by our side. Two liones can't live together in a forest. One have to be king and the other one have to cat. At that time, their Royal guard tried to attack on me. Unfortunately I wasn't prepared and was nearly shot but Ashley noticed the attack first. In process of warning me, she slided in my path and took the attack for me. She was hurt and was in hospital for days. We managed to kill the guard but Ashley was being deeply wounded. She still have those scars on her back."

Viona could feel his muscles tightening after the explanation. She gulped down nervously when she vaguely sensed his deep hatred towards Vampires. Vampire and Werewolves were monarch enemy from the beginning of era but his parents death added fire in fuel.

Viona hated to think that she wasn't there by her mate's side when he was in danger. Diving her head into his lap more emotionally, she coaxed rubbing on his thighs eagerly,

" I am here for you, Damien. We would face the danger on our pack together."

A deep sense of soothingness flooded through his veins. A smile of gratitude tugged on his lips when he understood that Viona started caring for him. In a while, his mood lifted up as he turned her over to hover on her and heard her giggling shyly.

Damien winked bending down to kiss her pouting lips,

" Let's do some sports, Luna. You have been a good girl and good girl deserves rewards."

The following morning had started with different environment among the pack house. Less of noise after few members had taken their leaves had given much space. The members chatted enthusiastically but their topic had changed. Now they were discussing about new secured job in nearby town. Though some of them were hesitating, they were encouraged by each others. Damien didn't need to take over any job in the city. His parents had left enough assets for him to live well but they weren't enough to run an entire huge pack like Blood Moon. Besides he had Viona and their future pups to be taken care of.

Ariana came out from the kitchen with a hot bowl of soup. Her face crunched in pain when the hit passed through her palms. But she smiled excitedly when they saw Damien and Viona coming down through the stairs.

Viona frowned at her jogging suspiciously and asked with a smile,

" Any good news, Ariana? You seem excited."

Ariana grinned before grabbing Viona's arms excitedly,

" I got a real fast job, Luna. I have found a job on online. I can do it in staying in our pack house."

Viona congratulated giving her a tight hug,

" That's awesome, Ariana. I am binge proud of you."

Viona paused and whispered in her ears teasingly,

" Or should I also start calling you Luna?"

Ariana's face burnt like fire. She scoffed back shyly but couldn't stop thinking about the man who didn't let her sleep whenever he came back to meet her sneakily. He always demanded more and more so at the end of day, she had to stay awake late at night.

Viona watched the over-excited members with a smile. They were really thinking about taking jobs to stablish this pack again without anyone's assistance. To encourage them further, Viona clapped regaining their attention on her and annouced excitedly,

" Attention guys! If our 50 members can find a job before the eve of Blood Moon, we will have a grand party. And the cost will be on your Alpha alone."

She spoke before turning back at Damien to see his mouth opening in awe. Viona winked at him and heard the thunderous clap of their members.

Damien shook his head helplessly to drag the woman out of the house and whispered seductively on the doorway,

" And what will I get as a reward Luna?"

Viona blushed understanding his hidden meaning and pouted fluttering her eyes at Damien,

" Hmm.. What do you want Alpha? I am already a loyal servant of yours."

Damien raised his eyebrows playfully at her response and replied leaning down to whisper in her ears,

" Let's switch the subject. Be a good servant at bed."

Viona choked on her own saliva by her shamelessness. Shoving his arms playfully, she spoke urging him to go outside,

" You.. Let's head for the university now. We are running late, Alpha. Flirting can be waited but my educators won't wait for me."
