Damien's features softened more than before. But he shot a questioning glare to Viona whose face was full of horrors. He didn't quite understand why she looked horrified rather than being happy.
Shouldn't she be happy since they were going to become one big family?
Brian understood that in where her fear laid. Ariana opened her mouth, made a long respective bow to Viona and apologised sincerely,
" I am truly sorry Luna if this news made you upset. I had no hands on it. I don't deserve to be his Luna as an Omgea. I know my position. But I am helpless at the same way. We kept it secret from all of you because Brian needed times to settle down with his pack."
Viona snapped out from her thoughts and explained herself hurriedly,
" Oh Ariana, please don't get me wrong. You are the only member who had accepted me wholeheartedly as their Luna. I know that you are a good girl and deserve to be his mate but it's.. just.. our father.."
Damien interrupted narrowing his eyes dangerously,
" Alpha Derek? What will he say? Isn't it enough for him to become relative with the Royal Pack?"
Brian couldn't be less agreed with Viona. He witnessed what happened in the past. Those memories were still sore in Viona's mind. Their father could go to any extent to save the reputation of the pack even if it demanded his children's happiness.
Brian replied on behalf of Viona who appeared uncomfortable,
" Your Highness! Our father is very cruel in nature. He just maintains a soft image in front of the whole world. If he gets to know that my mate is an omega, he won't definitely let me take the pack as their Alpha. Perhaps he will send me away from here so that I can't be reunited with my mate ever."
Ariana bit down her lips sorrowfully. She hated herself to think that she had brought unnecessary troubles to her mate. Her head hung down lowly and tried to hid her emotions.
Viona joined in walking aside to stand beside Damien,
" That's what I am saying. Even if we force him to accept Ariana as Brian's mate, he will definitely plot behind our back to get rid of her. You can protect her as long as she lives in this pack house. But once she steps in Blue Moon Pack House, my father rules will be compelled only."
Damien broke out into a furious snarl and spoke out coldly,
" What are you telling me then? My sister will hang out with her mate sneakily every time and serve our pack as our servant forever."
Brian's wolf growled inside to hear him addressing his mate as their pack servant. He controlled his rage and spoke in a promising voice,
" Nothing will that happen, Alpha. She will get everything what she deserves. I would like to take my pack first then I will announce to the whole world that she is my mate. Till then, this matter needs to be sealed."
Damien still had his hesitation and quiered again with suspension,
" Are you sure, Brian? What if your father opposes again and make things difficult for Ariana?"
Brian assured with a slight bow of his head,
" Rest assured, Alpha! No one dares to go against their Alpha."
Damien finally breathed a sigh of relief and hummed in agreement. He stated in a matter of fact,
" You have reasons, Brian. I just don't want Ariana to suffer without her mate. We may not share same blood but I raised her like my own sister. Besides, even if your father keeps holding grudges against her, there is a short cut way to solve everything."
Everyone laid their attention on Damien who had a smirk on his lips. Under their questioning eyes, Damien uttered after giving a fake cough,
" Make her pregnant fast. I am sure, your father wouldn't like to be separated from his heirs."
Ariana's face burnt in shame as if her cheeks would bleed anytime soon. Viona smacked at his arms playfully before growling in a low voice,
" Watch your words, Alpha! Jeez, she is your sister and feels shy in front of you."
On the contrary, Brian chuckled at his blatant response and stole a glimpse of his mate's burning face. He responded in a tone of seriousness,
" I don't have any objections, Alpha. I would love to do it."
Brian grinned at his shy mate who just threw him a glare and puffed her cheeks in embarrassement. Damien suddenly annouced pulling his own mate out of the room,
" Okay, love birds! Keep chilling! It's time for me to play with my mate."
Viona could only hiss and press her palms on his mouth to shut his mouth. This man was getting out of control day by day.
After he had her alone in their bedroom, Damien pulled her into a tight hug before burying his nose inside the crook of her neck. His words sounded leisure yet seductive,
" You didn't let me eat your cake, Luna. You deserve a fatal punishment."
Viona's body tensed up at the mention of his punishment. Thinking about the last wildness that they played inside the room, her cheeks reddened. She tried to act cool without moving away,
" Mmm.. What kind of punishment, I wonder Alpha?"
Damien's eyes sparkled with mischievousness when his shy mate showed enthusiasm. His low evil grin echoed in her left ear as he whispered seductively,
" How about I show you first, Luna? We can try different things today."
Viona shuddered when the tip of his nose sniffed on her bare neck. She could hear the obvious excitement inside his wolf.
