*Gasp*

The present pack members all turned around to see the source of such an enthralling voice. Viona who decided to keep her eyes down during this meaningless wedding pulled up her brown eyes on the way. Her calm eyes immediately radiated a heat of anger when she noticed the man standing further away with a poker face.

It was again that lecherous man, Alpha Dixon whose arrogancy brought him back to this wedding venue! His anger was more erupted when Damien chose to break his ribs for that woman whom he chased insanely.

Brian growled from his wolf instinct, was ready to pounce onto him but he was held back forcefully by Steven. Steven signalled him telling that they needed to behave cautiously since they had visitors from different pack.

Damien was the first to speak breaking off the awkward silence. He growled lowly looking down at Alpha Dixon,

" You??? "

Dixon glanced between Viona and Damien lightly. This time without holding back his rage, he furiously pointed at Viona and blurted out impatiently,

" How can this woman become our Luna Queen and your wife, king Damein? How much do you know about her?"

Damien only furrowed his eyes dangerously. Under everyone's watchful gazes, he replied briefly cutting off every matters of discussion,

" Since she is my mate, I will know her better than anyone, Alpha. You won't have to be so bothered regarding us."

Dixon fell in daze after receiving no such reaction from Damien. His only intention was to provoke Damien and stop this wedding.

Dixon sneered coldly and spoke to the crowd in a loud voice,

" Everyone, listen to me! This girl has slept with me in the past. How can you expect such woman to become our Luna Queen? Don't you think that she would bring shame over all the werewolves of Rainford? "

Viona was stunned, baffled out about his accusation. Her beast growled from inside, was ready to come out and rip off his sinful mouth.

How can he stoop so low to defame her? She didn't even meet him alone ever.

Viona nervously glanced up at Damien who maintained his usual calm and cold aura. The space between his brows only knitted lightly at Dixon's comment. But the crowd had just opposite reaction comparing to Damien. They started whispering among each others and some of them had already started to shoot Viona hateful glares.

Mr.Derek couldn't stay in calm since his upbringing could be questioned by others. He couldn't allow his pack to be disregarded by others. Before he could warn Dixon, Damien's icy voice heavied the air dangerously,

" You have such a big mouth Alpha Dixon that you have dared to defame my mate in our wedding

day? "

Alpha Dixon including all the presenters felt a chill running down through their spine. Damien's eyes started to spark as if his beast would come out anytime soon.

Dixon gulped nervously and continued being grumphy,

" Why...why are you threatening me, king Damein? You should be more aware of your mate's character."

" Enough! ", Damien finally lost his calm sanity. His fists were clenched aside as he emphasized each words between his raspy breathing,

" Whether she has lost her virginity or not, you better know that I will find it out anyways. You are in no position to question us. Whoever try to oppose us, he will have to face me."

The onlookers who wanted to grab this opportunity to create fuss between Blue Moon and Blood Moon pack had to step back after his warning. They knew that what could be the consequences of provoking Damien who was alone enough to demolish an entire pack.

Dixon felt his spirit defending when the crowd chose to stay quite rather than joining him in this fuss. He immediately regretted his foolish idea of venting anger but it was too late to go back.

Damien gestured at his guard, Celeb Webster to throw Alpha Dixon out of this place silently. Celeb immediately compelled his order and rushed over to grab Alpha Dixon.

Alpha Dixon shouted hysterically after being dragged forcefully by Celeb,

" You..you.. can't behave with me like that..I am an Alpha...Alpha... Let go of me...She is a bitch..You.."

Damien looked calmly at his way and added another command ruthlessly,

" From now on, we will have no alliance with your Pack Northern lights, Alpha Dixon. I will see how can you manage to survive without my assist."

Damien gave his last words, turned his attention back on the awestruck priest and ordered coldly,

" Continue our wedding! "

Viona secretly sighed in relief as she didn't need to jump in to clear this mess. Or else she was afraid that she would end up loosing the control of herself.

Again back to wedding, Viona didn't dare to meet Damien's eyes who were chanting mantras with the priest gracefully. Moments later, they were commanded to exchange the ring and this time, they had done it pretty fast.

At the last phase, they both had to take oaths standing underneath the moonlight. They took one after another and this time, Viona passed her gratitude towards him simply,

" Thank you for trusting me! "

Damien who seemed little astounded at her approach turned his face sideway to stare at her. Without unlocking their eye contact, he spoke again truthfully,

" I told you! I am your mate, Viona. I will be there for you always no matter what are you facing through! You just have to put your faith on me! "

Viona blinked abruptly and didn't find a words to defend him this time. No matter what decision she had taken, she couldn't ignore this unexpected truth that Damien had always been there to protect her during this short leaps of time. This was something that she never expected from a mate..nor did she ever wished...

Was it wrong to decline his each approach? Or everything was simply because they had a mate bond?
