Chapter 15: Chapter 15

The gloomy wedding was finally done successfully without any more interruption. The presenters had to give fake claps in order to impress Damien. Viona could see through the dissatisfaction in their eyes which was something that she never cared about. Because of her complex, outrageous personality, she had been everyone's eye sore for a longer time.

After seeking blessing from the moon goddess, the new married couple went over Alpha Derek who was secretly venting out his anger with heavy sighs. In front of Damien, he acted cool and showed his fatherly affection adorably. Just when Viona crossed his side, Mr.Rogers used a lower tone to warn his unruly daughter,

" If you get banned by the Blood Moon Pack, don't ever dare to show up in front of my door."

Viona didn't pause a bit, swallowed the bitterness in her heart and followed Damien afterwards to greet the other guests. The formalities was done quickly as they still had to return in their own pack.

Moments later, Brian was holding Viona's palms tightly. The young man had slight tears in his eyes while giving farewell to his beloved sister. Even the cold faced Steven had some emotions running on his face.

Viona glanced at her brothers emotionally and pulled them together into a tight embrace saying,

" I am gonna miss you two badly, boys. Come on, give me a smile. Don't be so sad. I will come back after an year to live with you."

They both replied in unison,

" We will miss u too. Remember that we will be always here to get your back."

Viona smiled with tears in her eyes and replied with a choking voice,

" I know! Call me anytime if you need my assistance."

Brian and Steven nodded before helping her to get inside the lavishing car sadly. Damien was already inside waiting for her and left half of his spot for her. Viona took a final look of her villa and drove away with Damien while waving her hands frequently to her brothers and other members untill their faces dissapared behind darkness.

Viona finally paid her attention back on Damien who rested his arms over the car windows and looked outside with a deep fathomable eyes. She tried to notice his every facial features closely until the sudden horn from their car diverted her attention back.

Viona glanced up at their way and found that the car was driving on the opposite way of their exact place. She couldn't hold back her curiousity down and asked Damien cautiously,

" Where are we heading for? It doesn't seem like the way where we should be headed off."

Damien only gave her reply in a few brief words,

" To meet my parents! "

Viona was a little flabbergasted. She didn't even try to hear about his family and always threw tantrums whenever they had encountered. Whatever, she was in this marriage and needed to comply each formalities.

She didn't think too much, sat back and watched the dark covered running trees one by one through the transparent window. The path wasn't familiar with her thus a new kind of excitement instinctively formed in her thoughts.

How would they react upon seeing this rumoured girl as their son's wedded wife?

Viona wondered and felt a burden pushing on her heart secretly.

*************************

Half An Hour Later,

The car was parked in front of an old broken Cemetery which seemed like it had been left unused for years. Except the little shine of moonlight, there wasn't any more lights to lighten up the cemetery.

Damien climbed off, switched on Viona's doorside and opened up the door like a gentle man. Viona desecned down gracefully after neating her worned gown and followed his eyes to look over the place.

Her face sank as soon as the tombstone had come in her sight. A gush of cold breeze blowed through her frozen expression gently. She couldn't assert the shock for a long time untill Damien pulled her in towards the cemetery gently.

Staggering few steps forward, she followed his steps passively. After a round of stumbling on her feet, the two stopped in front of two juxtapositioned tombs.

Viona took a sharp breathing when the name of that tombstones appeared on her sharp eyes.

* JULIE TREVISAN *

* ALBERT TREVSIAN *

While she remained in daze, Damien's low painful voice echoed in the air,

" They have passed away since I was a teenager. They used to gossip about their future daughter-in-law so much. So I thought of meeting them first before proceeding towards our marital life. I hope, you don't mind Viona?"

Viona snapped out from her dazed state, glanced up at the man silently and shook her head blankly. Even at this point, she could see through the pain, emotions on his face which she didn't expect at all. Damien was that kind of domineering king who usually had a killing aura whenever he met his subordinates. But at this point, he looked like a vulnerable teenager who brought up lonely without the caring of his parents. Though Viona had lost her mother earlier, she still had her brothers to love and take care of her immensely. As for Damien, he had no one, a lonely king who was burdened with responsibilities since his birth.

Viona hung her head down slightly in order to pay tribute to her heavenly father and mother-in-laws. Mourning in silence for a few seconds, Viona prayed to god for their peace and glanced up at Damien to question nervously,

" What.. what happened to them? "

Damien's body stiffened in little before giving her reply in a hoarse voice,

" Murdered brutally. Their faces were scattered so much that I had to do a DNA test to ensure that they were really my parents."

Damien's voice leaped in pain when he recalled those painful memories. Viona felt sad on his behalf and didn't inquire anymore to poke on his wounds. She stood by his side silently and whispered softly,

" I think that they found their peace in afterlife as they were innocent and were killed together like a real lover."

Damien turned his face sideway and asked her back softly,

" You.. really think that they are together in another life? "

Viona who missed to look through his deep emotional eyes replied truthfully looking down at the photo of them admiringly,

" Of course! Didn't you hear that a mate is for eternity? Now matter wherever you go, the other one will follow your path automatically."

Damien who went deep through her words suddenly blurted out,

" Then.. will you follow me if someday I go on missing?"

Viona's expression turned frozen instantly. She didn't had any emotions for Damien so far.

How can she answer his tough question?

Damien waited in veins and her response was only a weeping silence. He cracked into a self mockery laughter and chimmed shaking his head amusingly,

" You probably the first woman in this earth Viona who doesn't want to sleep with me."

Viona rebuked sharply,

" I am not the other women."

Damien chuckled admitting fast,

" I know! "

He took a pause and added with a soft sigh,

" That's the reason I like you."

Viona glanced up at him hypnotizingly. Whenever she showed her self attitude towards any Alpha, everyone only roared back at her fiercely boasting that they were Alphas and couldn't be disregarded by a little woman like her. Only in case of Damien, she had faced the difference. This man was unbelievably patience with her attitude.

Unfortunately Damien didn't get the chance of listening such good impression that he had already planted as seed in Viona's heart. He took a glance one last time of their graves and urged while turning around,

" Let's go back now. We still have huge formalities to be done."

Damien walked further quickly and left Viona behind to follow up his paces. Viona bowed one last time at their tombstone, tugged on her gown and turned around to trail Damien.

After taking two steps, her pace halted sensing an strange energy around. Though she didn't turn around to look what was standing exactly, she could vaguely sense that someone was standing at the opposite of those tombstones.

Her brows furrowed together deeply. Looking away at Damien's back, she turned around again using her fast paced speed to catch the person quickly.

Her expression turned puzzled more when she saw nothing unusual. As a werewolf, she definitely had the strong sense of ability which no one could imagine to have just like way.

Her eyes darted back and forth effortlessly but there wasn't any sign of others appearance nearby. When she inteneded to walk forward, Damien shouted from her back loudly,

" Viona, hurry up! It's getting late."

Viona declined the idea of following her instinct. After taking one last sharp glance of her surrounding, she turned and followed Damien's voice hastily.

Perhaps everything was just a delusions! Who could haunt her thoughts like that?
