Chapter 95: Chapter 95

As we walked through the black curtains and out of the room, we entered into another room of horrors. Organs of humans or animals - I wasn't sure were hanging from the ceiling by a cord, shriveled and dried up. The wall suddenly popped open and a zombie leaned its torso forward while groaning.

Jane, Shane and I jumped back, startled by the suddenness, but Jake only smirked at our reaction and looked at the zombie with a raised brow as if saying that they could do better. We walked past the groaning zombie when one of the organs fell down from the ceiling in landed in front of us.

As I looked at it clearly, I realized that it was a heart, "Cool!"

"Yeah, a dead heart. These haunted houses are really doing it." Jake replied to me as we walked around the fallen organ and continued forward.

"Yep, they're so good that I'm anyone that came here will be talking about it for days." Jane added as she watched the organs above us while walking.

"Weeks even." I said just as I felt a hand grab my ankle from the ground. I let out a yelp in surprise, making the others stop and turn to me. Jake looked worried as we both looked down to see that the

the floor beside my foot had opened up and an ashen hand was gripping onto my ankle.

I lifted my other leg and stomped at the hand just as Jake bent down and pulled the fingers of the creepy hand off of my ankle. The hand finally let go and went back into the opening on the floor then closed it. Jane touched my shoulder, making me look at her.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah." I smiled at her and Shane who also seemed to be anticipating my answer.

I looked at Jake to see him still looking worried, but I let out a laugh, "That was crazy."

He let out a chuckle, looking relieved when the organs above us started falling from the ceiling as if it were raining organs. "But apparently, not as crazy as that."

He took my hand again and interlaced it with mine. I moved my gaze to our joined hands then back to his face. His lips stretched into a smile as his hazel eyes twinkled, "Come on, baby doll."

He pulled me into a run and we started running forward as Jane and Shane ran beside us. We all laughed as dried up organs pelted us from the ceiling. It was almost as fun as running around in the rain. Kidding. It was even more fun. We soon reached a door at the end of the room.

Jake lifted his free hand and twisted the handle to pull the door open. He and I walked through it first, and then Jane and Shane. We realized that the room that we had just entered was filled with white light. As soon as the door closed, the ground started shaking.

Jake pulled me closer and wrapped his arms around me in a protective way as the ground continued shaking. A hoarse, scratchy male voice suddenly boomed around the room, "Earthquakes are everywhere, let's hope that you don't have a fear of them."

"Guess we'll have to walk out of here with the ground shaking." Shane said as Jake unwrapped his arm from around me and we started moving forward.

"Yeah, that's the plan." Jake replied as we all padded carefully across the room to a door that had to be the exit.

We soon reached it, and I used my free hand to twist the door handle. It opened and I pulled it open for us to all pile through it quickly. As soon as we did, we saw that it not only was the exit of the room, but also of the haunted house.

We were now standing outside of the haunted house where many kids and adults were walking about, going on rides and eating at picnic tables. Sean and Abbey were standing in front of us, it seemed that they have been waiting for us to come out.

Abbey looked anxious and excited at the same time. That had to be a good sign since she wasn't looking scared anymore. Sean looked happy as he smiled broadly while standing close to her. "Hey, guys! Glad to see that you made it out alive."

Jake rolled his eyes as we stopped in front of the two, "Like they stood a chance against us."

We all chuckled at his very confident statement that also made me find him even hotter. Abbey grinned, watching us as she whispered excitedly, "So you are all werewolves!"

"Yeah, shocker, right?" I replied with a smile on my lips.

She nodded her head, "Never believed that the supernatural could be true until I saw those angry vampires."

"That was how we felt some months back." Jane said with a sigh as if remembering how we came to be part of the supernatural world.

"So you're okay with it?" Jake asked Abbey, raising a brow in question.

"Yeah, totally! It's so cool to be dating a werewolf and be their soul mate too. I've always thought that Jacob on Twilight is super hot." Abbey said with even more excitement as she flailed her hands around.

We all chuckled except Sean who looked at her with an offended look. "Babe, I'm standing right here."

She turned to him with an apologetic look, "Aw, I'm sorry, my sweetie pie. Of course, you're hotter than Jacob!"

A grin made it's way back to Sean's lips as he took both of her hands, "That's sweet of you, and I think that you're hotter than any girl too."

"So while you two talk about how hot you find each other, we're gonna go on more rides." Jake said, making me let out a small laugh.

Sean turned to us, "Oh, you know that you two are more cringey."

"I second that!" Jane said, raising a hand.

Jake and I laughed as we leaned our bodies closer to each other sideways. I shook my head as our laughing subsided, "Yeah, well, it's good to be cringier than you."

"I second that." Jake said then leaned his head closer to mine as he brushed his lips against my forehead.

"Okay, no need to go R-18 on us. We get it, you can even be cringier." Jane said with a laugh.
