Chapter 93: Chapter 93

Jake glanced at me swiftly with a concerned look, but quickly turned back to the other two guys that were throwing punches at him. I grabbed one vampire's arm and twisted it, making him yelp then dodged the other vampire's punch by moving his body to the side. He kicked at his abdomen multiple times then let his foot down as he fell back on the floor, clutching his stomach.

He turned back to the other vampire that he was still twisting his arm and used his shoulder to flip him over his shoulder. The vampire smacked down on the ground and let out a series of groans. Jake was breathing heavily as he turned back to me. He grabbed my face with both of his hands as he looked me over with a look of concern on his face.

"Baby, are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. What about you?" I breathed out as I also looked him over for any injuries.

His lips tugged up into a smile as he said, "I'm more than fine, baby doll, but should be more worried about you."

I felt my own lips lift up in a small smile, "I know, and I can't help, but be more worried about you, babe."

"You think you can defeat us?!" Hades's voice boomed through the room, making Jake drop his hands from my face and for both of us to turn to him.

He was standing over Sebastian on the floor who was gripping his side with a look of pain on his face. I also realized that the vampires that we have defeated have stood up and looking ready to fight us again even though they also looked worse for wear. Now what do we do? How can we defeat eight vampires only by ourselves, plus we were still new wolves?

Just as Jake and I balled our hands into fists, ready to start fighting the hissing vampires that were baring their fangs, we heard running footsteps. All of us there turned to the sound which was on the right and saw Jane, Shane, Sean and Abbey running towards us. They all stopped in their tracks in shock as they came into view, but Abbey also looked terrified as she stared at the fangs and red eyes of the vampires.

She let out a scared scream and Jake looked at Sean that was standing beside her. "Get her out of here and calm her down!"

"Yes, Alpha." Sean nodded, his shock wearing off and it becoming replaced with worry. He wrapped his hand around Abbey's arm and gently pulled her back the way they came. She finally took her gaze away from the Hades and the vampires and moved it to Sean. She tried to speak as her lips trembled, but he shook his head and quietly led her away.

Hades smirked as his gaze swept over each and every one of our faces, it lingered on mine for a second too long. I growled at him as I felt my wolf come further to the surface. She and I were both angry that a make other than our mate was staring at me in such a way. Sebastian started getting up as he gripped his side and winced with every movement.

Hades didn't seem to notice as he addressed us, "I see that you have brought more slaves for us."

He was referring to our friends and that made us all look angrier. Jake glared at him as he spat, "I will make you eat all of your words today!"

Then suddenly, He was running in full speed, using his werewolf speed and stopped right in front of Hades who scoffed. He looked Jake up and down as he said, "You think that you can defeat me when your 'guardian', Sebastian couldn't?"

"I know I can." Jake said, and another voice was heard, "Who said that I couldn't?"

Hades and Jake turned to Sebastian that was now standing on the far side of Hades. He let out a cackle and said, "I did, but since-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Jake had shifted into his wolf and swiped his clawed paw at Hades's shoulder. He let out a yelp in pain and clutched it as blood dropped out from the torn skin and shirt. "How dare you?!"

His finger nails started growing into claws as his fangs grew longer and his eyes a darker shade of red. You could see green veins become large and pulsate on his neck, chin, cheeks and forehead. One minute he was standing there and the next, he was jumping on Jake. But my mate was prepared and he raised a clawed paw again and swiped at him.

Hades slammed down on the floor in a heap as the force of Jake's side blow hit him hard. As Sebastian started towards them, the bald vampire ran at him with his leg street hed out in a kick. Sebastian grabbed his ankle and twisted, making him yelp in pain. The bald vampire twisted his ankle put of his grip and quickly threw a punch at him. This time he was successful.

I started running towards Jake and Hades fighting beside them, but the other six vampires blocked my way. The dark haired female was standing right in the middle with the blonde guy and they were staring me down. I glared back at them, and heard feet shuffle. Looking to my side, I saw Jane and Shane stand beside me as Jane said, "We got your back, Luna."

"Yeah, we can take them all." Shane added as they all stared the vampires down too.

My lips lifted up into a smile, feeling happy to have such loyal friends and pack mates. "You got that right."

I turned back to the vampires in front of me, ready to fight when we heard Hades shout, "Retreat! Retreat!"

We all turned to the sound of his voice and saw him climbing up the small window in the room. He jumped through it and the bald, hulking vampire went next as Sebastian looked confused and Jake watched, panting in wolf form. I started forward to stop the six vampires from escaping. But they used their vampire speeds and in a second, they were jumping out of the window.
