"Okay, truth or dare?" Jake asked as he looked back at me. His attention seemed to be on me even while he was asking her. It was how he was attracted to me and how much he felt the mate bond towards me.

"Truth." Her reply made him turn back to her, but he wasn't even really looking at her.

"What is your guilty pleasure?"

Most of the guys in the room turned their gaze to her in anticipation of what she would say. They probably expected her to say something dirty. But she surprised us all and smiled as she said, "Chewing on a tooth pick."

"Really?" The blonde guy asked in disbelief, and she nodded, "Yep, the wooden texture just makes me want to chew on it all day."

The guy turned to his friend beside him and mouth 'weirdo', but she didn't see it and continued smiling. Some guys were jerks, but I was glad that my guy wasn't one. The other guys also looked away, looking disappointed. The red heired girl looked looked over at us before moving her gaze to me as she asked, "Okay, Max. Truth or dare?"

I smirked as I replied, "Dare."

"I dare you to caress Jake's abs." She said with her own smirk, and the girls giggled in excitement of seeing his abs while the guys whopped at me doing that to him.

I felt my face heat up at the thought of touching his abs again, and the fact that I would have to do it in front of all these people. I didn't like doing private things like that in front of others, but I couldn't back down from the dare. Not after backing down from the other one. The funny hat was still on my head, but moved to the side since Jake ran his gingers through my hair.

I let a sly smile touch my lips as I replied, "Okay."

I turned to Jake who was looking at me with darkened hazel eyes. My gaze met his as I placed my hand on top of his shirt clad abdomen. The side of his lips twitched in an amused smile as he murmured so that only I could hear, "Caress my abs like you did the last time that we made out, baby doll."

What he said made me blush even more as I remembered how hot our kiss had become that night. I gave him a flirty look as I replied, "As you wish, babe."

Not wanting other girls to see his abs, I moved my hand to go under his shirt and touched his abs. Both guys and girls whopped and cheered, making me almost laugh if not for how I was feeling as I touched my mate. I caressed his abs, feeling every ridge and hard stomach muscles. God, it was hot and I was getting hot.

Jake pulled in a sharp in take of breath as he stiffened, feeling my hand on his body. I quickly pulled my hand back, but before I could place my hand back on my lap, Jake took hold of it. I looked at him with a confused look, and he brought my finger tips to his lips.

He kissed each of them as his gaze held mine. I felt a delightful shiver run through me and butterflies flutter in my tummy. When he was done kissing my fingers, he interlaced his with mine and placed our joined hands on his lap. I took in a deep breath and let it go to let the tension out.

I looked back at the circle to see the party goers talking amongst themselves. Moving my gaze to Leo who was staring at us with a small frown, I asked, "Truth or dare?"

His frown disappeared when he realized that my attention was now on him. "Truth."

"Okay, tell us about your crush." I said as I gave him a soft smile.

His face changed and he looked sad for a while before he shook his head, "I do not have one."

"What? In all of your years?" I asked, meaning in all of his long lion years.

He paused before nodding, "Yes. I usually focus on my doing my job."

Tessa/Tina looked at him in a funny way, "What job? You're a teenager."

He seemed to realize that he made a mistake and I quickly corrected it for him, "Yeah, of course he is. He meant that he used to wait tables to earn extra money."

That seemed to make sense to her and she nodded with a smile, "Oh yeah, some kids do that." She looked back at him with a sympathetic, and flirty look, "It must have been hard for you."

He grinned, "Not really, I loved it and it is how I met Max and Jake with their friends."

Jake was still smiling as he said to Leo, "Okay, Leo. It's your turn to ask now."

He moved his gaze to Jake as his eyes widened in realization. "Oh, okay."

He looked at him as he asked, "Truth or dare?"

Jake's smile turned into a smile as he replied, "Dare."

"I dare you to do a back flip."

He looked excited as he released my hand and stood up, "Easy."

He moved to the centre of the room where there weren't any people. With his feet planted firmly on the floor, he leaned back and jumped, doing a back flip. My, oh my, it was so s*xy to watch this large piece of man carry his weight like that. I stood up from the couch and clapped for him.

Everyone cheered at his awesome back flip and he grinned as his eyes captured mine. He walked towards me as he asked, "Truth or dare?"

My lips lifted up into a smile as he stopped in front of me, "Truth."

"Did you enjoy our date here together?" He asked as his eyes searched mine.

"Yes." I breathed out, and he grinned at me as we stared into each other's eyes.

The next day, we were all sitting at our table during much time. Jake was sitting beside me, Shane was beside him with Jane while Alex, Mike and Sean were sitting opposite us. Drake was no where to be seen. We tried calling his phone, but he wasn't picking up. We didn't know what was going on with him.

As quiet as he was, he was unusually quiet last night at the party. Ever since we returned from the River of True Mates, and we found out that Shane was Jane's mate and not him, he changed. This change was so much and he barely spoke to any of us. Was it for good or worse?

We didn't know what was going on with him, and whenever we asked he acted like everything was fine, but it wasn't. Everyone knew that it wasn't fine and it couldn't be fine, not with the way that he was acting.
