Chapter 68: Chapter 68

"What's with her?" I asked in a mutter, referring to Stephanie.

Jake glanced at me, "Just ignore her, we don't have her time anyway."

"Okay." I replied just as a blue Ford Jeep drove quickly into the parking lot and parked right in front of us.

I recognized that car, and seeing that the others also stopped, they also recognized it. A smile started spreading on my lips as the horn honked and the driver's door opened along with the passenger's door. Greg jumped out from the driver's side while Grey jumped out from the passenger's side. They walked towards us as they said in unison, "Hey, guys!"

"Hey!" We all said together in reply to them.

"What gives, guys? You fought a gang without us and now, you're hosting a party without telling us too?" Greg said as he looked at us with a look of mock hurt on his face.

Grey nodded, "Yeah, where's the fun in that?"

Jake raised both brows in question then glanced at Mike, "I'm guessing you told them about the party before we did?"

Mike gave a sheepish smile as he raised one hand, "Yep, guilty as charged."

Jake looked back at them as he said, "Sorry about that, but you know that we were going to tell you soon since we only just discussed it during lunch."

Greg and Grey both grinned as they nodded, and Grey said, "Yeah, we know. We were just kidding and fooled you all!"

They both chuckled, and Grey raised his hand in a high five to Greg. He slapped his hand and they whooped. Typical frat guys, but I have to say that they were funny to watch. I rolled my eyes, playfully, "You didn't fool anyone."

"Yeah, didn't fool me either." Jane added while Mike and Alex shook their heads. Drake didn't react, but Jake and Shane looked amused while Sean shook his head, "But sadly, I was fooled."

The way he said it so dramatically made us all burst out laughing. Jake looked at them in suspicion with a teasing smile touching his lips as he said, "If you aren't here because you're angry then are you here to see Stephanie?"

That made them both cringe, especially Grey who has slept with her before. He had a look of disbelief on his face as he said, "What? Of course not!"

Jake chuckled as he said, "Relax, I'm joking."

The twins both heaved a sigh of relief at the same time, and Greg looked over at all of us as they said, "We came here because we heard of the party and wanted in on all the planning."

"Okay, but let's get home first. We can talk about it there instead of the middle of the parking lot." I said as I looked around the now almost empty parking lot.

Stephanie and Abbey were no where in sight. They must have left while we were talking with the twins seeing that her car wasn't in the parking lot anymore. I looked back at Greg and Grey to see Greg give me a sheepish look while Grey face palmed. "Oh, yeah. We should have went there and waited for you."

"It's alright, let's go." I said as I tugged on Jake's hand and pulled him the rest of the way to his Ferrari. The others also continued the walk to their cars, and the twins walked back to their Jeep.

Jake let out a small laugh as I pulled him towards the car, "Someone's in a hurry to go home, I wonder why."

I let a small smile slip onto my lips as I glanced at Jake just as we reached his car. "Because I wanna be alone with you."

His eyes widened in surprise at my flirty reply, and he smirked, "I can see that my sweet talking is rubbing off on you."

I chuckled softly as I shook my head, "No, really. I wanna spend time with you alone, Jake."

His smirk turned with a large grin as he stepped closer to me. He cupped my chin and looked into my eyes as he murmured, "I feel the same way, baby doll. And that means that we need to go on our first date soon."

Surprise and realisation washed over me as I remembered that even though we have been dating for almost a week, we haven't gone on our first date yet. "Yeah, let's do that, but where and when?"

His eyes moved down to my lips as I spoke, and I could see his eyes heat up before he looked back into my eyes. "Anywhere and any time you want it, baby doll."

"How about at the party we're hosting?"

He looked a bit surprised and it showed on his face, "Why don't I take you somewhere fancier?"

I shook my head as a grin stretched on my lips, "That party is enough for a first date. We can go somewhere fancier next time, Mr. Fancy pants."

The nickname made him let out a deep chuckle, and he moved his head closer to mine until our faces were inches apart. "I would love that, and I love you."

His declaration of his feelings for me made me giggle, and I replied, "And I love you too."

His lips stretched into a large grin and my eyes watched the movement as I my own lips copied it. He moved his lips the rest of the way to mine, pressing them together in a kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his other hand around my waist. As the kiss became more heated, we heard the honk of a car horn that made us separate and pull back.

We were both out of breath as we turned to the source of the interruption. It was Greg and Grey in their Jeep, and they grinned when they saw us turn to them. "Quit making out, you two and get a room!"

Before any of us could reply, Greg pressed on the pedal and drove them away from the parking lot and to my place. I looked back at Jake to see him already looking at me with a small smile tugging at his lips. As our gaze connected, we both chuckled at the twin's behaviour.

When we finally calmed down, Jake took his hands away from my face and waist while I took mine from around his neck. His still heated gaze captured mine as he murmured, "We'll continue this later."

I felt a delightful shiver run through me at his promise, and was speechless as I watch him turn around to walk to his car. As he opened the driver's door, I took in a deep breath and let it go before walking to the passenger seat. I opened the door and climbed in just as he closed his door. I closed mine and watched as he placed the key in the ignition and start the car.

We soon arrived at my place and climbed out of the car. Jake and I were the last to arrive since we were having a heated make out session. My face blush as I thought back to some minutes ago. So the others were waiting for us in front of the house door since I had the key to it.

I opened the Ferrari's door and climbed out just as he also did the same. We made our way to the front door and I placed my hand inside my pocket to pull out my house keys. The others watched as I placed the keys in the keyhole and pushed the door open. I walked in first then Jake, the twins, Jane, Shane, Drake, Alex, Mike then Sean.
